Chapter 6:
To you, the wishing girl
It took a long time for Mom to go away.
Honestly, I don’t remember what we talked about. I don’t think it really matters.
“Ah…”
I let out a long sigh. I had gotten too tired.
I looked around my room.
It was indeed the same old room as always:
The bed my sister used to use, her old desk, her old bookshelf… Yes, it was the same as always.
«Clank»
I looked up to the sound. It was just the clock giving the time.
“10am, huh…”
I should be in class at this time. Today was supposed to be my big day.

I don’t know what else I did, it seems I had simply gotten dazed.
The clock now reads “3pm”.
“What a waste of time” - I whispered to myself. However, despite thinking that, my eyes were still glued to the clock.
I simply felt too tired.
