Chapter 11:

Noble farm?

Bloodborne Fire

Finally, after nine days of arduous endurance training with Jiraiya, I am now able to maintain the dragon form consistently for days. Immediately after my training, I decided to take up Lisa's offer to learn all about noble thieves.

How exhilarating!

That is what I thought at first, but to my surprise, I saw no borders of adulthood, all I saw were sheep, cows, and a lot of other farm animals.

"Excuse me, Mrs. Lisa, what is this?" I said with a pathetic look on my face.

"An animal farm! It's not easy to feed a huge community without a farm,"

"B-b-but you were going to teach me how to cross the border of adult—,"

"Of course! I was just about to teach you S.E.X,"

Hell yeah! that's what I am talking about!

"Sensible. Earnest. Xteamwork,"

"Xteamwork? Oi! What do you mean by Xteamwork, that's not a word. You just put X in front of teamwork for the sake of a dumb joke,"

"Not my problem, blame the author's vocabulary,"

"Stop! We have already confused enough readers with these jokes!"

"Alrighty then! It's time for some work,"

Lisa now in her farm clothing puts on a straw hat.

"Hold up, how did you change so fast," I question her.

"You too! It's time for some work," said Lisa while pointing at me.

Wait, what! I am in farm clothing! HOW!

"Rule 1 of farm club, if I catch you slacking. You will become tonight's dinner," Says Lisa while pointing a pitchfork at me.

"O-oh o-okay! no problem!"

"That's all!"

"That's it? Just one rule! On top of that, it's a pointless rule,"

"Oi newbie, all I hear right now is slacking! And do you remember what happens if I catch you slacking!" Said Lisa while bringing the pitchfork closer to my neck.

"Yes! Understood madam!"

Farmgirl Lisa is scary!

"Alright, you pigs," exclaims Lisa.

"Excuse me ma'am but I am the only one here," I reply.

"Did I stutter?" Said Lisa with an intense glare that could rival Jiraiya.

"Sorry ma'am, one pig at your service,"

"Good, First things first, we have to bring out all the animals from their stables. And let them graze on the grasslands,"

"Yes ma'am,"

"I didn't hear enough enthusiasm!"

"Yes ma'am!"

"Good, don't die,"

Die? Who would die from letting out some animals?

I calmly and slowly open the quiet large stable doors.

POW!

Ouch!

A sheep knocks me over while rushing towards the open field. I get up and face a not-so-pleasant surprise.

RUMBLE!

A crowd of animals from cows to sheep, looking down at me like an inferior being.

Hold up! Don't! Stop!

SPLAT!

The animals trample all over me.

"Fool! I told you not to die. Rest in peace Ruri," Said Lisa with a sad look on her face.

"I am not dead!"

A few minutes later.

"Now that all the animals are grazing in the field, our job is to clean the stable and remove all the dung," Lisa picks up a shovel and says, "watch and learn boy,"

She swiftly puts her shovel under a cluster of dung and tosses it into the manure box. Lisa then looks at me signaling me to try it.

Here goes nothing!

I pick up my shovel and lift another cluster of soon-to-be-manure.

Well, that was easy.

Full of confidence I attempt to toss the poop into the box, only to slip on a smaller piece of turd. Falling face-first into a pile of cow dung, after that the turd on my shovel gets launched into the air and falls on the back of my head. I could hear Lisa chuckle behind me.

Why me god.

After cleaning up the stable and myself, we head towards the chicken coop.

"Now, quickly! But gently grab their eggs," Said Lisa while grabbing a dozen of eggs without the chickens noticing.

Piece of cake!

I waltz into the coop only to get run out of it with two eggs in my hand, while the chickens were chasing me with a killer instinct.

Forgive me! Chicken gods!

It was already evening.

Farm work is harder than Jiraiya's training.

Lisa told me to rest and that she would get all the animals back in their stables. I feel so damn useless right now. A few minutes later, I was sitting on the fence and Lisa showed up.

"You already tired boy? we have a mission to do,"

"Mission? What were we doing the whole day!"

"Trivial work!"

"B-b-but,"

"Don't slack now Ruri, you know what happens if you slack on the job," Said Lisa with the same intense glare as before.

"Yes ma'am," I said with an unenthusiastic voice.

"So, let's go. To the Lisa's Lab!"

"Lab?"

We walk into a very normal-looking shed. Lisa pulls one of the lamps on the wall and a type of mechanism activated. An opening slowly appears on the floor followed by stairs leading deep down. After what felt like an eternity climbing down the stairs, we reach a huge room, a huge warehouse of sorts with lab equipment and a lot of boxes made of glass inside of which were bodies of bloodborne's.

"Welcome to Lisa's lab," said Lisa while raising both of her hands.

Woah! this place is huge.
