Chapter 47: Kazuya's Hidden Potential!

(Days went by on the original planet Earth which Kazuya swore to get stronger in anyway possible. By doing so, Hinami and Shibuto trained together with Kazuya everyday and made impressive progress within their powers. Light spears was seen being aimed at Kazuya as he continued dodging and countering them with his lightning speed and defensive actions.)
"Kazuya: HA! That was close.."
"Shibuto: Look out!"

(Shibuto began firing meteors made out of thin-air at Kazuya as he then avoided and destroyed each one he sees. After seeing a massive meteor he was then serious and rocketed himself toward it and drill himself through the meteor which then exploded in the air and Hinami launched arrows of light and destroyed the medium sized boulders from striking down at Earth.)

"Kazuya: Thanks guys.. Its a lot better if we do stay together."
"Hinami: Of course Kazuya!"
"Shibuto: That was a good training workout. I think you're getting faster Kazuya!"
"Kazuya: You think so? I mean.. of course I am!"
(Hinami smiled at him.)
"Also, what time do we return to the academy?"
"Shibuto: Around five-ish, we're needed for training according to Gaito."
"Kazuya: Right.. Should we keep training?"
"Hinami: I'd say we should take a break."

(A while later, the three of them was walking through the busy areas of Hakodate which was once again crowded by humans. They then stopped at a outdoor café and got only drinks, Hinami ordered a bubble tea, Shibuto ordered a water and Kazuya ordered a lemonade.)

"Kazuya: So what else do we have covered?"
"Shibuto: Well your strength is increasing, your speed with lightning but the problem is you can't keep a single elemental wave or orb stable due to overusing yourself at the last minute."
"Kazuya: So how do we fix that?"
"Hinami: We'll see what Gaito has in store for us during training today."
"Kazuya: Alright."
(The three of them continued to their drinks as a girl held a sniper rifle on the roof which targeted Kazuya.)

"???: Hmph, that's the next threat to villains..? Sensing his power level over here, he bores me enough to put me to sleep."
(She created a bullet out of pure brick then loaded the sniper with the one bullet.)
"Now.... bye bye Kazuya Atharu."
(The bullet was fired at rapid speed which Shibuto sensed from afar and quickly pushed Kazuya out the way but the bullet then shatters the window glass but echoed and shattered more glasses from a four mile radius and the civilians started to get away from the glass shattering.)
"Kazuya: WHAT WAS THAT..?!?"
"Shibuto: I don't know... are you ok though?"
"Kazuya: I'm fine..."
(Hinami looked around and tried to sense an elemental's power source.)
"Hinami: I can't find what caused this.."
(Shibuto looked at the shattered glass and found the brick bullet.)

"Shibuto: Guys...?"
(They looked at him with concern.)
"We need to go to the commission."
(A while later, they went to Saikan Academy which they was given directions towards the High Commission's office which then they'd walk in to see Angel, Konnor, Crystalline and the rest of the commission together.)
"Angel: Well now! This is a surprise!"
"Hinami: Its a pleasure to see you all."
(They all kneeled before them as they then felt a bit of discomfort.)
"Shibuto: Please, no need for the kneeling or appreciation! Just treat us like normal human beings, please."
"Angel: Of course, our apologies. How can we be of assistance?"
(They told them what happened which brought concern.)

"Konnor: Correct me if I'm wrong, you've said that this bullet here is made out of pure brick?"
"Hinami: That's right."
"Crystalline: And that bullet was targeted at you, Kazuya?"
"Kazuya: Yeah.."
"Sumizaki: If its possible, could I take a look at it?"
(They gave the bullet to Sumizaki which she'd then analyze it with her link to every human on Earth then found a match.)
"I found a match! The bullet came from a... Amber Hunt."
(Konnor dropped his tea and shivered a bit which had them all concerned until he stood up.)
"Konnor: Amber Hunt... She's the girl who's bullets managed to touch a Demi-God."
(They all was then surprised at the information.)

"Out of all people, why her...?"
"Kazuya: Whoa whoa wait a second, she touched a Demi-God..? With bullets...?"
"Konnor: They call her "The Snipe Queen." In America, she's always wanted as she's a very fierce assassin, even with simple guns she can craft the bullet into any body she wants it as long as she touches a single surface. Even the government wants her head.. Once she accepts the target to hunt, she'll do whatever she can to make sure the person's dead."
"Kazuya: But how did she manage to strike a Demi-God with her bullets?"
"Konnor: Because Amber's teacher, is the God of Forgery himself, Hephaestus."
"All: HEPHAESTUS!??!"
"Shibuto: Wait a minute, isn't Hephaestus's job to take her power away if Amber uses it incorrectly for her personal yet wrong purposes?"
"Konnor: From what I heard, she filed a God's restraining order against Hephaestus. If he interfered in anyway with her business or coming into contact with her, he'd be punished legally by the King of Gods."
"Hinami: But this was in Zeus's reign, yes?"
"Angel: Yes, before his defeat."
(Kazuya looked with a bit of concern and started to sweat.)

"Kazuya: So what the hell's going to happen..?"
"Sumizaki: Its possible you might have to be put under protection constantly until Amber Hunt's taken care of. We could put some of our best fighters on patrol for the time being."
"Shibuto: Unfortunately, that has to be the case. Kazuya can't control his elemental power yet. He just started training with lightning and we're suppose to meet with Gaito soon."
"Angel: We'll send a few nine star ranked fighters to deal with her. Until then, you guys should get going.. it is almost five!"
"Hinami: You're right!"
(The three of them quickly transported themselves to Olympus in front of the academy and met up with the rest of the students inside the gymnasium later on. After so, Gaito came inside clapping his hands as he demanded attention.)

"Gaito: Alright, alright! My students. You're all in this academy to become the next generation of both rulers and defenders. Rulers of all things good or bad, defenders of all things good or bad. But you've all been selected to this academy for the protection of not just everyone around you, Earth and every over planet inside and outside our solar system. Now, for today... We're going to play an Earthly game called... Dodgeball."

(Everyone murmured about the game in excitement as some was a bit nervous.)
"For referees, I've called a few Gods to come and assist with the game."
(Three Gods walked inside the gymnasium and introduced themselves to the students.)
"Hera: Salutations all! I am Hera, Goddess of Marriage!"
"Plutus: Greetings to each of you, I am Plutus. God of all things wealth."
"Apollo: Hello everyone! I'm Apollo, God of Archery!"
"Gaito: Everyone, these four Gods are going to be our-"
(He looked and saw the three of them.)
"Uh.. where did- OHHHH...!!!!"
(The rest was confused as they looked at Gaito.)
"Silly me..! Everyone, I made a little phone call earlier just in case this would happen. So uh... You can come out now!"
(He looked into the ceiling but felt the ground shaking the splitting into two which fire then explodes out of the portal which surprised everyone else including Hinami, Shibuto and Kazuki as they knew who it was.)

"Everyone, your fourth referee... The God of Hell himself, Sawano!"
(He looked at everyone as they all clapped in joy for him and Hinami ran to him and gave him a tight hug out of happiness.)
"Hinami: You're awake father..!"
"Sawano: I couldn't be asleep for much longer. Plus, I have a little surprise for you after training today. Just you wait, Hinami."
(He patted her head which she blushed with a gleeful smile.)
"Gaito: Alright, now that the referees are here. I will be picking three captains for three separate teams. Hinami, Yhenar and Myris. I'm giving you three the captains roles, you all have ten minutes to decide your teams. Go!"
(As minutes went by, everyone was almost ready as a few students was debating to their teams for strategies as Kazuya and Shibuto was separated from Hinami's team.)

"Alright... Now that the teams are set, you all are familiar with dodgeball's rules right? If not, I will gladly explain for you. Dodgeball is a game where it involves two game rules, elimination or to the final one standing. But these rules will be different."
(Gaito clapped his hands once and every student was given their own dodgeball uniform.)
"There are three teams. The rule is, you must defend the captain of your team from facing elimination. Captains, your teammates are your shields. If you're hit, you are eliminated. Are we clear? If so.. BEGIN!"
(He blew the whistle as the referees was in place and the students began throwing dodgeballs at one another which Kazuya and Shibuto did their best to guard their captain.)
"Yhenar: Shibuto!"
(Shibuto looked ahead and protected Yhenar from being hit by the dodgeball and throws it at the opposite team's captain but was protected by Kazuya. After a long game, Kazuya and a Demi-God bumped into each other and fell which then they'd argue.)
"Kazuya: Watch where you're going, dumbass!"
"Tajunn: No, YOU WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!"
(As they argued, Myris was hit by the dodgeball thanks to an opening Kazuya caused after pushing Tajunn to the ground which the referees called an official out but the both of them started to fight which the other students was confused, worried and started to back up.)

"Tajunn: BRING IT, LIGHTNING TRASH!"
(Kazuya and Tajunn started to fight across the gymnasium which Sawano and Gaito nodded and Sawano then separated the both of them thanks to his chains which has them both binded in place but they struggled to continue their fight. Suddenly, Gaito's height grew bigger as he was both irritated and disappointed but his voice thundering in anger.)
"Gaito: Tajunn. Kazuya. Office. NOW."
(After training, Kazuya and Tajunn sat separate from each other in the office as Gaito sat there with a dark shade over his eyes, furious at the both of them.)
"Explain to me what transpired in the gymnasium."

(They both was talking over one another and started conducting their elements which made Gaito slam his entire head through his desk, breaking it in half and silenced them. They both was feared at the angered Gaito as he then calmed down and repaired his entire desk instantly then looked at the both of them.)

"I'm going to say this once, you two are to apologize to each other and leave this office. If I hear or see another fight from the both of you..."
(His eyes was then switched from normal to red with lightning surging out of them and his voice began to echo in seriousness.)
"THE CONSEQUENCES.. WILL BE DIRE, INDEED! DO. I. MAKE. MYSELF.. CLEAR..?"
(They was frightened at the threatening voice of Gaito's and understood as they both apologized to each other and Gaito returned to normal.)
"Both: Sorry."
"Gaito: Good. Now get to your next class, Kazuya. You're needed with me after school."
(He nodded in understanding and they both left to their next class. During lunch time, Kazuya was sitting alone until Shibuto and Hinami sat with him and ate together.)

"Hinami: Hey Kazuya..! Are you okay?"
"Kazuya: You could say I am, I know that trash picking a fight with me.. Who the hell even was that bastard anyway?"
"Tajunn: WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME?!"
(He and his friends walked over to the table as Kazuya flipped over theirs and started at Tajunn face to face which Shibuto and Hinami stood up to keep them away.)
"Shibuto: There is no need for this! You both already got yelled at by Gaito!"
"Tajunn: NO ONE ASKED YOU, COSMIC NERD!"
(He and his friends laughed at Shibuto as Hinami stood up.)
"Hinami: Just because you're one of Lyssa's descendants doesn't give you higher power!"
"Tajunn: Says you! Who made you empress of this school?!"

"Hinami: I do not need to become an empress of this academy, we are in this institution by personal selection from the King of Gods, Gaito himself! Individuals such as you who thinks you deserve power among every student here are nothing but wasted talent! The Gods does not have to waste their time giving the negative such wonderful abilities, my father is the King of Hell, Sawano Magachi and my mother, the Goddess of Hell is Azumi Umezaki and I am proud to admit that! I do not let such things as relevancy or jealousy consume me for I have a strong soul and you... are not one worthy for a heart or soul that places you in a descendant's spot today!"

(Everyone was surprised to hear as they all cheered for Hinami.)
"Tajunn: Like I'd give a f**k who your trash father is.. OR IF YOU TALK LIKE YOU'RE ALL GOOD! YOU NEED TO LEARN THAT RANKS MAY MATTER, BUT STRENGTH DOES TOO!!"

(His hand was charged with negative energy and was targeted at Hinami until four chains forcefully gripped and twisted Tajunn's arm to the point he fell to the ground in agony as the chains was locked on to his arm. They all looked from the cafeteria doors to see Sawano's eyes bloodshot which the students and Tajunn's friends backed up.)

"Sawano(Demonized): Did you try to lay your hand on my daughter...?"
(Tajunn was terrified at the voice and face of Sawano as he struggled to escape but the chains tightened his arm which had him scream.)
"ANSWER ME. DID YOU. OR DID YOU NOT. TRY TO ASSAULT MY DAUGHTER?!"
"Tajunn: YES! I'VE TRIED TO HIT HINAMI, I'M SORRY MR. MAGACHI SIR, I PROMISE IT'LL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN! NOW PLEASE KINDLY LET GO OF MY ARM SIR, I FEEL LIKE ITS GONNA DISLOCATE IF YOU TWIST IT AGAIN...!!!!"
(He kept his face in an angered position but then let go of his arm, Tajunn was helped up as he held on to it tightly then taken to the infirmary and Sawano started to walk away but stopped.)

"Sawano(Normal): Hinami. Are you ok?"
"Hinami: Y-Yes father..! I am fine... but a bit embarrassed..."
"Sawano: I apologize for appearing like that, enjoy the rest of the day."
(He continued walking as everyone else was silent but continued to eat their lunch as Kazuya and Shibuto was speechless at the mercy Sawano did not show at Tajunn.)
"Kazuya: So... that was... Sawano.. right...?"
"Hinami: Mhm..."
"Shibuto: There's no telling why half the students are afraid of him..."
(Kazuya was pondering with an irritated look in his eyes.)
"Hinami: Kazuya, is something bothering you?"
"Kazuya: No. Well.. yes. I have this.. weird feeling I've seen Sawano before, I just can't remember.. Damn it!"
"Shibuto: Well, hopefully you'll remember soon. Come on, we should finish up our lunches."
"Kazuya: Yeah, we should."
