Chapter 83: A Shadow Puppet Master!

(As the second contestant in the tournament stepped forward, it was a female carrying a medieval sword on her back, wearing an outcast-like attire and had her long black hair raging through the wind. Onara was a tad bit impressed by sensing her power level.)
"Choryrth: Next contestant, please state your name for the spectators of the tournament."
"Miyu: Its Miyu, what's it to you?"
"Onara: I have to say, your power level is quite impressive for a demon from Hell."
(Miyu shrugged out of irritation and rolled her eyes without giving a care to what she said. Onara was then sensing more negative power.)
"(Thinking): Negative energy..? The only person who can negate that much energy was Gaito. My only theory is she has a beast. If that's the case, I wonder how far she can last without it."
"Miyu: Onara Shiori, I heard about this damned rebellion or some shit. I don't really care what happens to The Void Realm, I just have one HELL of an itch for a fight..."
(Onara then gave her a discomfort glare at Miyu.)
"Onara(Aloud): Ehh... That attitude is seriously giving me cringes."
"Choryrth: Are both combatants ready?"
(Onara positioned herself back into her fighting stance as Miyu unsheathed her sword and gave a death glare to Onara.)
"Begin!"
(The spectators was silent as they waited for both combatants to make the first move. Onara then noticed she was behind her without feeling her presence and quickly avoided the attack but then suffered several scratches on her arms without being touched which made her flinch and surprised everyone else.)
"Choryrth: Hm?"
"Kazuya: WHA?!"
"Shibuto: What just happened..?!"
"Onara(Thinking): Landed two attacks without letting me sense her..? This isn't no ordinary elemental work. This is something.. forbidden."
(Onara kept her guard up and focused but could not sense her elemental energy as if she was not there. More cuts began opening on Onara's body which broke her guard and splattered blood across the ring and her body began to become more wounded due to the slashes. Miyu then appeared in front of Onara and landed a strong uppercut which knocked Onara off balance but she remained on her feet.)

"Kazuya: What is GOING ON..?!"
"Choryrth: This is nowhere close to any element-like attack or any special ability I've seen before.. Unfortunately, even I'm clueless on this mysterious yet intriguing ability."
"Shibuto: Onara, hang in there..!"
(The spectators began cheering for Miyu as they chanted her name as well. Onara was stumbling from the blood leaking out of her severe cuts as Miyu then swung her sword once again. No one could see the incoming attacks, including Onara whom suffered more invisible slash attacks and splattered more blood across the ring. The spectators began cheering loudly for Miyu as Onara was wobbling on her feet and fell to one knee, trying to figure how to counter the attacks.)
"Kazuya: ONARAAA!!"
"Spectator #2: KEEP THAT TRAITOR DOWN!! THIS IS WHAT YOU GET!!!!"
"Shibuto: How is Onara taking fatal direct hits like that and we can't see these attacks..?!"
"Choryrth: Attacks that even a god cannot see, there are a few number of people who can pull that off. Onara is one of them but this is a whole different level."
"Miyu: Hmph, it appears the goddess has reached the end of this pathetic tournament! Any final words before I put you down?"
(Onara smirked as she finally figured it out.)
"Onara(Pained, Aloud): Heh... I.. got it... Attacks not even a god could see, invisible sword strikes... You don't have a b-beast.. But this... is an assassin's tactic..!"
(Miyu backed up a bit as Onara was right on the mark, answering correctly.)
"Choryrth: An assassination attempt?"
"Shibuto: OF COURSE! There's a team in the assassin's guild that called this "Voodoo!"
"Kazuya: Voodoo? JUST Voodoo?!"
"Shibuto: According to the book I read this in, "The Voodoo is a known assassination technique that can send your attacks invisible towards your opponent." Miyu may have been swinging her sword in the air, but she was actually targeting her while Onara was in the dark!"
"Miyu: As if you believe I'm giving up.."
(Miyu snapped her fingers which Onara then forced herself to her feet and was completely controlled by Miyu's elemental ability, Voodoo.)

"Voodoo is not only an assassination technique, it's a forbidden element as well!"
"Choryrth: It appears my calculations was wrong..!"
(Miyu then casted shadows from the dark and controlled them to attack Onara as Miyu kept Onara in her control to stand still. The shadows then began to viciously attack Onara and snapped her polearm into twos and shattered her katana, Onara was then held by one of the shadows and punched from the face to the body then fell to her knees and coughed a heavy amount of blood. Kazuya was gripping the edge of the balcony as Choryrth patted his shoulder.)
"Kazuya: Choryrth-"
"Choryrth: Just watch, don't count her out yet."
(Onara was shaking but started climbing to her feet, the audience began gasping at Onara's resistance against Miyu's shadows and her voodoo control. Onara's aura was heating the atmosphere quietly, it began to gave Shibuto chills up his spine. Miyu then commanded the shadows to attack once again until Onara's eyes gave a black and yellow glow and forced all darkness to halt, the shadows freezing where they were as Onara then took two steps.)
"Onara: CAST DOMAIN, ABYSSAL CAGE!"
(Miyu then freaked out as a massive sigil appeared underneath the both of them and trapped them in an alternate dimension, inside the inescapable abyss Miyu could no longer see, sense or notice Onara's presence as she blended with the void.)
"(Echoing voice): In this abyss... I AM THE VOID!"
(Miyu started to use her Voodoo element to duplicate her shadow as attackers but failed.)
"That won't work, Miyu... Abyssal Cage has one major flaw, ALL ELEMENTAL ATTACKS ARE INDEFINENTLY ERASED!"
"Miyu: BASTARD!"
(Ten lances of void out of thin air blasted at Miyu and landed direct hits, blood started leaking out of her wounds as Miyu then used her sword to dodge the void lances but lost her grip as the blade of her sword was rocketed off by the force of the lance. Onara then began to materialize herself into a physical form which Miyu quickly attacked with a spare sword but realized the fake Onara dissolved as the real Onara was instantly behind Miyu and locked a sigil of void onto her body. Miyu was sweating at the speed and power of Onara.)
"Onara: Now DIE! VOID BREAK!"
(The sigil wrapped around Miyu and grew into black light which glowed bigger and bigger then exploded a massive wave of void-like energy onto Miyu which dealt massive damage and shattered the entire domain and returned them both to the Void Realm. The void debris disappeared and Miyu stood on her feet, twitching and motionless from the attack. She then fell to the ground, unconscious from the pain. Onara then wiped the blood off of her face and looked at the fallen Miyu then Choryrth as he nodded.)
"Choryrth: This match has concluded, Onara Shiori is your victor of the second match!"
