Chapter 33: The Poachers

Narrator: Somewhere on a dirt road.

*Nine people are seen walking on a dirt road with a strange vehicle

Narrator: Poacher – Grode.

*Grode is has a brown hair buzz cut. He is fat and is 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He wears a red uniform. He looks like he is in his 30s*

Grode: So boss, what exactly is the goal here?

Narrator: Poacher Leader – Tazer.

*Tazer is has middle back length black hair. He has a short beard and wears a top hat on his head. He has brown armor gauntlets on his hands. He looks like he is in his 40s and is 6 feet, 1 inch tall*

Tazer: The Hawks are furious about what happened to their prison camp so we are to kill or capture as many Eagles in Kunasha as we can.

Narrator: Poacher – Shotsteed.

*Shotsteed is bald and has scars all over his face. He wears a brown vest with a white shirt underneath. He wears gray pants. He is 6 feet tall and appears to be in his 40s*

Shotsteed: Well then, this will be fun and the Hawks will pay us until we are rolling in cash.

Narrator: Poacher – Easia.

*Easia has shoulder-length pink hair. She is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and has a lady-like look to her. She looks like she is in her early 20s. She constantly has her left arm behind her back*

Easia: I doubt I will even have to use my left arm for this job!

Narrator: Poacher – Raider.

*Raider has long gray hair that goes down to his lower back. His legs are quite long and he stands at 6 feet, 7 inches tall. He wears a blue uniform. Although his hair is gray, he looks like he is in his 20s*

Raider: And we all know how much you hate using your left arm.

Narrator: Poacher – Alga.

*Alga has mostly short and flat black hair with a small tuft of hair banded up. Her skin is tanned and she has what looks like 4 pronged Ws tattooed under each eye. She is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and looks like she is in her 20s*

Alga: I’ve never gone after an Eagle Clan member that ever put up a fight.

Narrator: Poacher – Sen.

*Sen looks like a thug. He has spiky brown hair. He is smoking a cigar. He is wearing a forest green shirt that has the word “Troublemaker” on it and is wearing jeans. He is 6 feet, 3 inches tall. He looks like he is in his 30s*

Sen: Actual eagles would be more challenging than this job.

Narrator: Poacher – Naysha.

*Naysha has blonde hair in a ponytail. She wears glasses and has a green uniform on. Like Tazer, she has brown armor gauntlets on her hands. She is 5 feet, 8 inches tall. She looks like she is in her 30s*

Naysha: Regardless of how challenging it is, doing our job perfectly gets us more jobs. I’m ready for this.

Narrator: Poacher – Edgar.

*Edgar has short dark blue hair but has long bangs. Like Naysha, he wears a green uniform and like both Tazer and Naysha, he has brown armor gauntlets on his hands. He is 6 feet tall and looks like he is in his 40s*

Edgar: Get this job done quickly and get it done cleanly.

Tazer: I see you are all excited. We are almost there and then the fun will begin as we poachers strike.

Narrator: Back at Zeth’s parents’ house.

Miranda: Zeth, it means that you are not actually a member of the Eagle Clan. I’m sorry. One can marry in but one can’t be adopted in.

Zeth: It’s alright… For the last few days, I sort of had this feeling this would be the last time I came here as a person that lives here.

Jack: That doesn’t mean you are not allowed to come visit here. You are adopted but we still care about you.

Miranda: That’s right. Come here any time that you like.

Zeth: Thank you.

*They hear the sound of an explosion coming from the city*

Jack: What was that?

*Kurt looks out a window*

Kurt: There was an explosion in the city! There’s smoke coming from it!

Jack: What!?

*They all run outside and then they see another explosion coming from the city*

Zeth: What is going on!? Listen, mom, dad, I don’t like this so please stay back and let us investigate.

Miranda: Okay. Be careful.

Zeth: You got it.

*They run toward where the explosion happened in the city and they see a destroyed building, craters from where the explosions happened, and even dead people*

Sasha: Who could have done this!?

*They then see nine sinister-looking people and a strange vehicle up ahead. The vehicle has a cannon coming out of the front end of it*

Zeth: Hey! Who are you guys and were you the ones that did this!?

Tazer: And so what if we were?

Zeth: Then I will kick your asses! That’s what!

*The auras of all five heroes glow around them*

Tazer: (looking at his comrades) These five look like they have actual power. They must be eliminated. Six of you go. Naysha, Edgar, and I will round up all the Eagles we can find. Divide and conquer!

*Their cannon shoots a big energy blast at the five heroes, causing them to have to all go in different directions as the blast hits the ground where they were standing which causes another explosion*

Tazer: Go!

*Six of the nine poachers split up and go after the heroes*

Zeth: So that was what created those giant explosions.

*Zeth is alone and soon two poachers show up to fight him. They are Grode and Raider*

Zeth: Two against one, huh? Fine with me.

Grode: You won’t be fine when we pound you into the ground.

Raider: Yes, say goodbye to your life.

Narrator: Zeth finds himself in a battle with two poachers. Can he overcome the odds of two versus one and win?
