Chapter 81: The Mighty Divine Zeth

Narrator: With access to temporary divine power, Zeth is ready to go on the counterattack against Poleon’s Fraction!

Poleon: Interesting

Zeth: I hope you are ready because I am about to crush you!

*Zeth suddenly hears Harmona’s voice*

Harmona: Zeth.

Zeth: Mother?

Harmona: When you use the stones, I am able to speak to you telepathically because they are powered by my energy. Listen, Poleon is evil. I would say a different kind of evil from the Dark Goddess. You shouldn’t even be engaging Poleon until you have your permanent divine powers back but with your temporary divine powers, you should be able to defeat his fraction. There’s no time to explain him. Just know that by using your temporary divine powers, one of the stones has broken. You can only use it three more times. Don’t let off the gas. Keep destroying the fraction until you can escape.

Zeth: Got it. Here I go!

*Zeth, in a blazing burst of speed, reaches the fraction. Zeth kicks the fraction into the air and then quickly jumps into the air after it*

*Zeth puts his hands together and then slams them into the fraction’s body. The fraction is sent flying back down into the ground*

Poleon: Impressive attack.

*The fraction gets up and looks up to see that Zeth is not there*

*Zeth is behind it and prepares an energy attack as the fraction notices him. The fraction tries a backward kick but Zeth grabs its leg with his right hand*

*The fraction then uses its arm and elbows Zeth in the face, ruining his energy attack*

Poleon: Got you before you could get your attack off. You will have to try harder next time.

*The fraction does a spin kick, knocking Zeth back*

Zeth: Damn, I thought I could end this quickly!

*Zeth wipes the blood from his face and gets back up*

Harmona: You are not as powerful as you would be if you were using your permanent divine power. The fraction will still put up a fight.

Zeth: I see that now. What should my strategy be?

Harmona: Poleon is directly controlling the fraction but it’s not as likely to make its movements as quickly as Poleon would be able to do with his actual body.

Zeth: What does that mean?

Harmona: It means there is a slight delay between when he commands the movement and when it actually happens.

Zeth: How long is this delay?

Harmona: Likely a few dozen milliseconds.

Zeth: That's barely anything! That's less than a twentieth of a second!

Harmona: Trust me, even a tiny delay like that can be the difference between victory and defeat. You just need to keep up your onslaught of attacks and eventually, you will prevail!

Zeth: That makes sense. I will keep at it then!

*Zeth charges at the fraction and they engage in a rapid punch battle while moving with the fraction moving backward and Zeth moving forward. With the speed of Zeth's punches, the fraction is unable to keep up and it starts getting pummeled by Zeth.*

Poleon: These are some fierce blows you are landing. Your determination is commendable.

*The rapid punch battle ends when Zeth lands a highly powered magic punch to the fraction which knocks it back. Zeth then immediately uses his other hand to release a Star Shine Blast*

*The Star Shine Blast is a direct hit on the fraction and causes an explosion*

Sasha: That’s right! Show him what you’re made of!

*The fraction gets up with many holes in its body but they start to heal. Zeth is not happy about that*

Poleon: Hmhmhm! You would have to completely destroy the entire thing at once to end it.

Harmona: Don’t be discouraged! You can do this!

Zeth: I do have other tricks up my sleeve.

*Zeth forms six Star Shards and throws them at the fraction. The shards tear limbs off of the fraction. Zeth then prepares for a follow-up attack*

Zeth: Shining Kick!

*Zeth does a magic-powered kick that launches him forward and the attack tears the fraction to pieces. The pieces are about the size of baseballs. Unfortunately, they reform as one*

Zeth: Oh, so you want me to turn it to dust size?

Poleon: Can you do it? I doubt it.

Zeth: *Smirking* Oh yes, I can. (Now thinking to himself) I don’t have to worry about destroying anything here. (Now speaking out loud) Sasha! Get back! You can’t be near the fight for what I’m about to do!

*Sasha walks a good distance away*

Sasha: Is this enough?

Zeth: Yeah. Now it’s time!

*Zeth enters Raging Star Mode, like last time, his body becomes dark red-tinted and his aura turns a raging dark red and starts attacking anything near it*

Zeth: Oh yeah! This will absolutely make sure there is nothing left!

Narrator: Zeth has entered Raging Star Mode while having Divine Power. Just how destructive can the mode get with this power?
