Chapter 13:

Shouldn't this be a situation a hall monitor can handle!?

It's My First Day at My New School and I'm Already in a Yuri Harem!?

The hallways were neat and orderly and not a single thing was amiss. No one would dare cause any trouble when a student with the nickname Law, hall monitor, and ally of justice was on duty.

He pulled a tiny notebook out of the breast pocket on his shirt and reviewed today's notes. Incidents today: zero. Everything in the world is as it should be. He returned the notebook back to its home with a satisfied smile.

Ever since he had first seen an episode of Captain Asshat he knew his destiny. On that fateful day, a long, long time ago (it was actually only last week.) he decided he wanted to be a hero that fights for what's right.

As he played yesterday's episode of that show in his mind two students rushed past him.

"Leave me alone, I'm not gonna be your goddamn homework slave!" A kid with brown hair yelled at his pursuer.

"Get your dumb ass back here, you're going to do my geometry if you like it or not, even if I have to force you! I promise I won't kick your ass too hard!" A large bald-headed student that was chasing the one said.

Just as the large guy was about to grab his prey by the back of the shirt, the brown-haired kid shifted his body a solid 90 degrees and trucked down the corner and into another hallway. Baldy followed through.

Law blankly stared at them until they disappeared. The hero of Justice flicked his purple bangs from his messy hair out of his face and gave a big sigh. He had just put it away a second ago but already reached back for the notebook. With his pen, he marked down one tally for incidents. After putting away his notebook he walked to the middle of the hallway and kneeled down as he got into a sprinting position.

Not in my hall, evildoer! The booming voice of a cool as hell hero echoed in his mind.

A blast of air and sounds of jet engines going wild went through the hallway as Law took off at a speed only matched by a bullet train. He almost smashed into the wall at the end of the hallway but he gripped the corner of the wall and forced his momentum down into the hallway the two others were running in.

There were still a lot of students walking in the middle of the hallway and Law needed to get past them. He went to the side of them and with a 'fuck gravity' attitude he ran side ways along the wall, stepping on every single locker along the way. Each one flew open, sending books and papers flying out of them.

As he drew near the student that was about to get mugged he jumped off the wall and did a somersault in the middle of the air before landing smoothly onto the floor in front of him. The two students had a confused look on their faces as they saw 'the legend' in front of them.

"No worries civilian, I have this all under control," Law said in an obviously fake deep voice. He couldn't be a hero if he didn't sound like one.

Law's forearms were now crossed as he dashed towards the enemy. With a large amount of force, he delivered a double chop -powerful enough to knock out a bear- into the brown-haired student that was being chased. His body twirled into the air before landing on the floor with a thud. He was without a doubt knocked out cold.

"I think you got the wrong one dude…" The bald one said.

Law stood back up and walked over to the student he demolished. He flicked out his notebook and wrote him a detention slip before letting it fall slowly onto his body.

"Crime never pays." Law flipped his bangs again as he delivered his one-liner. He turned to the student he saved and gave him a thumbs up. "I saw you trying to stop this kid who was recklessly running down the halls. I appreciate your bravery, but let the heroes tackle the dangerous stuff."

"Uh…yeah."

"Could you take this trouble maker to the infirmary? I have my hands full keeping this place safe."

"Whatever dude…" Baldy said as he picked the roughed-up student and left for the nurse's office.

It's a shame that we couldn't have a day without incidents but I would be lying if I said I wasn't glad I could show off my skill as the hall monitor. He thought as he brushed the dust off his pants.

Law continued his patrol of the halls when he overheard a conversation by a group of students he walked past.

"We aren't lying! That flat girl totally beat the snot out of that jerk." The school prodigy Clover said. Her personality could be improved on but Law couldn't help but admire her intelligence.

A fight!? In my school? Law thought. When he heard this he bolted behind a trash can the students were near.

"And I'm telling you that there is no way that Daisy could ever do that!" Bailey responded. From the interactions she had with the pathetically stupid girl, there was nothing more unlikely.

The new kid, what is this I'm hearing!? Daisy seemed like someone I wouldn't have to worry about. Law jotted down notes as he continued listening.

"I know it's hard to believe but she's telling the truth," Russell said with one hand on his hip.

"Even if you say that…I dunno." Bailey said.

"Believe it or not they are having a brawl after school in the gym!" Clover was really excited about this, Law didn't understand why.

"Jason is gonna get killed if Daisy's girlfriends find out…" Russell shook his head.

"I didn't even think about that! They will rip him to shreds!"

All this talk about brutality made Bailey blush. She was wishing that she could be as lucky as Jason.

"I feel bad for the guy but there's nothing that can be done. If they go through with this fight, maybe those three will finally get arrested." Russell tried to look on the bright side of the situation.

"Arrested!? That can't happen!" Bailey shouted so loud it made the others jump back.

"Isn't that a good thing!?"

"Don't you want to see them get sent to the nuthouse?" Clover asked.

Bailey turned her head away. "I-i just wish there was a way things could work out peacefully..." Bailey stuttered. Although I wouldn't mind being the one that gets hurt…

"How about we go talk to Daisy and tell her to not go through with it?" Russell suggested.

"Jason is a stubborn ass, no way he's going to let her call it off. Besides, just by challenging Daisy to a fight is enough to get himself killed." Clover said.

After he was done listening to the three, Law slowly crept away with his back against the wall. If a student gets murdered in this school I will lose all my credibility as a hall monitor! Everyone will blame it on me…somehow I have to prevent this. He thought. Law had dealt with Jason many times and could easily handle him but with those three demon girls being involved he lost all faith in his abilities. Even Captain Asshat would be terrified of them.

"What's he doing…?" Asked Bailey as she watched him try to sneak away. They all knew he was eavesdropping but didn't care enough to have said anything.

When he got far enough away he sprinted down the hall. There's one person I know that can help me prevent this disaster. He's dangerously close to the enemy, being Eve's brother and all, but Isaac is the only one I can count on!
