After the date Roy had with Sarada, two days went by quickly. Nothing eventful happened. Roy just accompanied Sarada one more time for a 'walk' in these two days.

But now it is time for their departure.

"I guess this is where we part ways, huh" Akiyuki says

"Yeah." Shira replies

"Oh, I forgot." Akiyuki says and turns towards his butler who is standing a little far back.

"Get the payment."

The butler nods his head and goes inside the house. After a few moments, the butler comes out with a brown pouch. By the looks of it, it seems like it is filled to the brim with something.

"Here, Sir." The butler gives the pouch to Shira

As soon as Shira held the pouch he knew what is inside of it.

"Isn't this way too much?" Shira asks

"No! It's a gift from me for taking care of my daughter." Akiyuki says with a bright smile.

"I already sent the payment for the mission to the Head Quarter." Akiyuki says to Shira

'Huh? What's he on about?' Shira thinks and looks towards the trio.

[The trio is Mio, Renjii, Roy]

Mio and Renjii point at Roy.

Roy looks at them with a confusing look while tilting his head slightly.

"I will gladly accept this." Shira replies with a smile

"Well anyway, we have to go back now. If you have any other missions for us then you know where to find us." Shira then says to Akiyuki

"Yes, I will definitely ask for you guys in the future for missions." Akiyuki says

Both of them then shake their hands.

Then Shira and the trio get in the carriage and leave for their base.

After two days of traveling without any problem, they are near their base.

"Hmm?" Shira suddenly feels a strong pressure coming from their base.

'Why is he here for?' Shira thinks

Soon after, they reach their base.

The trio is surprised as they get off their carriage.

Few guys are standing outside their base. One guy at the front and three people standing a little far back from him.

"Shira! Did you come from a mission just now?" The guy at the front asks.

He is a tall, well-built man with blonde hair styled with a neat part. Hirai has very thin eyebrows as well as small eyes that are usually covered by his signature sunglasses, which don't have arms that wrap around the ears.

His attire consists of a beige vest over a black long-sleeved dress shirt, a red ribbon tied into a bow around the collar, beige pants, and plain brown shoes.

"Ughh…Yuichi…Why are you here?" Shira replies with an irritated voice.

"Is this how you greet your old friend, who you met after two years!" Yuichi replies.

"Haha-You guys are such great friends." One of the people says who is standing behind Yuichi.

"You are also here, Yuuma?!" Shira says with a surprised voice

"Obviously." Yuuma replies

Yuuma is a young man with a fair complexion and short, messy black hair. His eyes, which are closed most of the time, are brown.

His attire consists of a brown Inverness cape that he wears over his shoulders and whose color matches both his hat and his pants. Under that, he wears a dark grey blazer and a white button-up with a light and dark blue striped tie. Under his three-quarter length pants, he wears long white socks that cover the visible part of his legs, and simple black shoes.

"Why are you guys here anyway?" Shira asks

"…We are here to…discuss your position I-" Yuichi tries to explain why they are here for but he gets interrupted by Shira.

"Okay, you guys can go now. I have heard enough." Shira says

"Shira, you can't put this matter on hold forever." Yuuma says to Shira

"WHY? Did you forget what they did to me?! What they did to her?" Shira loses his calm.

"Please…don't make me remember…those memories…" Shira says with a brittle voice.

'What happened to him?' The trio thinks

"I just came here to give you this message from your father." Yuichi says to Shira

"Oh, so he needs my help now? I don't want to help him, let my father die." Shira says

"He is retiring and he wants you to take his place!" Yuuma says

"Where are his other two sons, huh? Tell him to make any one of them his successor." Shira says

"…"

Yuichi stays silent.

But Yuuma speaks up, "Tatsumi Torizawa died in the raid of an 'A' rank dungeon."

Tatsumi is the second brother of Shira.

"See, this is why I hate my family. One of my brothers died and they didn't think this is an important matter to tell me. What about Lucas? Tell my old man to give him the position or someone stronger like him" Shira says

Masato Torizawa is the youngest brother of Luke

"He is just a kid" Yuichi says

"Whatever, you guys can go now. I wanna get some rest." Shira says and walks inside the base

The trio follows Shira and heads inside.
