A5P7: Hero, message and sudden change

„Phew! That was nice work out!“ I smiled to myself when I came back from the fight with Hestia.

„Those mountains are bloody red you know?“

„Hey, it’s still better then in Haruben, right Hestia?“

„Sure is Zaru…“

„Hey you two… you seem closer all of the sudden,“ said Lizzie with slightly darker eyes.

„Well we did tried to kill each other for more then a week in a row so yes.“

„I was really suprised when you made my [Blood shots] evaporate.“

„The way you evaded my traps was really admirable.“

„Hey you two do you remember that you still have work to do?“

„Ah! Yes I have to talk with Fia about why she took that hero’s blood.“

„Well, she’s in the lab so you can meet her there.“

„Thanks I’m on my way.“

„Also, Sumia and Tamara are doing their jobs as requested.“

„Oh, really?“

„Yes. Sumia started training kids on last floor alongside gnolls and I let Tamara train beginner class magicians.“

„Do they have results?“

„Actually, yes. Sumia’s students are slightly stronger then people from other classes. As for Tamara and her magic class… well it really makes easier for me.“

With that we got to the alchemy wing. We heard soul-tearing screams when we passed barrier that was place dat the entry.

„What the hell?“ we said as one.

We entered the first room and we couldn’t belive what we saw.

Hero was binded to giant metalic table, practically naked.

„Fia, what’s going on here?“

Fia, who was in charge of Alchemy labs run towards us in a flash.

„You’re finally here boss! Come! Come!“

Fia took us to giant tube filled with greenish water. In the water was floating single right arm.

„This is the hand you cut of in your fight. When we got our hands on it, we found out that we can use it in Flesh-golem creation. I belive that we could create golem which could use holy magic, if given enought blood.“

„And you’re pumping that blood from the hero I assume?“

„Yes! Exactly! We found out that his external magic can’t be used thanks to the bracelet you put on him, but his internal can be used. His blood is regenerating so much faster compared to normal people, that we were able to store more then 1,000 liters already.“

„T-that’s a lot.“

„But that’s not all, his skin is also regrowing so we have a lot of that as well. And we… took his testicles.“

„What? Why?“

„When we took his skin for the first time he started screaming that he will fuck with all of us so…“

„Did you use anesthetics while cutting them?“

„Not a single drop.“

„Good job.“

„You two are really sadistic you know that?“ Lizzie frowned her brows.

„He said he will fuck all of us. That include my wives, and who try to touch my wives will rot in hell.“

„A-anyway, what did you do with those things?“

„We are currently drying them, as requested by Ogres.“

„Ogres?“

After that I finished most of my official work and before I knew it evening came.

It seeps demonic power… Oh and Sumia, after this go tell Tamara to write letter home, I will deliver it tomorrow during my little trip. You can also add one, just write where should I delivered it to.“

After this I got to enjoy diner with my wives and everyone else.

„So this is all for my report,“ Fia said and handed me file with papers.

„So petrification cure is a bust hm? … Please continue researching it.“

„Plus she is more helpful then most of other inhabitans, which in turn make her closer to you.“

„Yeah, you could have twenty wives easily.“ Lizzie smirked.

With that I left the room and headed to the entry of the dungeon. There I found group of people from the alchemy lab.

„That was last vial we had. Thanks hero, enjoy your trip with our lord.“

„Please… kill… me…“ the hero was sobbing.

„Damn, this hero is really comlete opposite of what I heard. Miss Hestia said that she took her people here, becouse she didn’t want them to die, but it seems like she would be able to kill this guy herself.“

„That she would, but her people are more important to her than one city. Same goes for me. Instead of using you as meat-sheilds I go to front lines with my highly trained army.“

„L-lord Zaru!“ the alchemy lab guys bowed as one.

„You finished with taking samples?“

„Yes! Tears, blood, saliva, skin, hairs, nails and urine. All collected and is currently being tested.“

„I’m almost afraid to ask, but why urine?“

„We want to find out if it’s possible for slimes to evolve into scavanger slimes with urine only and if it will have any side effects with holy power imbued in it. Also, we were able to create a slime with [Vampirism] skill. Thanks to the Heroes blood it have imunity to holy attacks. It’s called Bloody slime, do you wish to take a look?“

„Maybe after I return. Do you have those letters for me?“

„From miss Tamara and miss Sumia? Yes, we have them here,“ elf boy give me to letters and with „Good luck“ and „see you soon“ they left.

„So it’s only you and m efor some time now hero-kun… So our first stop is royal palace of Gurem kingdom let’s go ‚Teleportation.‘“

With that we transfered to back alley of Gurem kingdom capital, Grum.

The city named Grum is a city with population of barely five thousand. The kingdom itself is bordered by Small ogre kingdom, Balgom merchant union, Dwarven council state, and newly Demonic kingdom Zaruul. Out of all of them only Demonic kingdom is not tied by any means to this place.

To put it simply, existence of this kingdom is dependent on it’s neighbourghs. Dwarves import metalwork and fabrics, Balgom imports food and daily necesities.

So how is this kingdom keeps it’s autonomy? Simply by being the biggest producer of [Mana crystals] in western lands. Thanks to it’s mountainous position and the fact that for most of the year it’s covered in snow and ice, no-one want’s to attack this place.

And now, only princess of this kingdom sweared her loyalty to Demon lord.

„Wh-where …are …we?“ the hero asked.

„In Grum, city in middle of Gurem kingdom. You will wait for me here like a good boy. ‚Stone cofin.‘“ I used spell to keep hero from moving and being heard by other people.

I put on my braclet that hide my [Demon lord] race and masked it as [Human] and left the place with immobile hero.

The city looked little happier then the last time I was here. That time, duke who protected the south tried to cause a rebellion and overthrow the previous king. In the end I killed the duke and the most influent people of his faction. When the king found out how many people died he himself died of shock.

Well I got paid in the end so no harm happened to me. Those Mana crystals were really useful for creating that homunculi body for Haba…

When I got to the gate I showed the guard the letter with royal seal and acompanied by group of low-level knights I got infront of the king.

„Long time no see king Geofrey Hurredot Quinton Van Gurrem, it’s been far too long,“ I smiled at fifty years old king on the throne.

„Legendary Assassin Zaru, what do you want here? I heard that you died a while back.“

„Oh, you wish! I can’t die until I finish my goal, remember?“

„You still want to revive those statues?“

„Just one, as you know. But that is not important now. I came as messenger today, here take the letter and I will go.“

„You won’t wait for me to open it and give reply?“

„I’m sure you will reply either way, with me here or not.“

„Oh, really.“

„I’m sure. Bye now! ‚Teleportation.‘“

I teleported to the back alley where I left the hero, just to find out that a cat pooped into his only breathing hole I made.

„Yuck! ‚All clean!‘ Dude, that’s grose… the hero is sleeping? Really?“ I grabed the hero by his collar and teleported to the next city on my visiting list.

The Varn city in Balgom city union. Heart of Jugën company, which is owned by Sumia’s father.

The company was selling evrything one might need. This week auction was held and magic sword from ancient era was the main star of this auction.

„Agemaru, the whip sword… quite interesting sword I must say.“ I said looking at sword in glass showcase.

„You have a good eye sir, are you planning to participate in todays auction?“ a middle aged man aske dme in front of the swords showy showcase.

„Ah, sorry no. I came looking for sir Carl Jugën, the owner,“ I said.

„Well, you found him, what do you need from me?“

„Nothing much, here I came to give you this letter. I was asked by friend of mine to deliver it, and with that done… Bye!“

When I left the auction hall I could hear a scream that could freeze ones soul.

After this I took the hero and spread my wings and flew into the sky. The travel that would normaly took at least half a year took me about two weeks flying non-stop.

„Look hero-kun! The capital of Holy Empire, Lunarion! This is the place you heroes call your home!“

I smiled and flew to royal vila on side of mountains that lead to Holy mountain. At that moment the half-angel Emperor Ruzu and Emperess Matariel, the Archangel, were taking outside bath together. I broke the moment of happiness.

I throw the hero in the bath and canceled the Hide presence skill.

„Emperor Ruzu, I, Demon king Zaru of Demonic kingdom of Zaruul came to return the trash that tried to kill me in front of fair people of my country. You should re-educate your pawns!“

The emperor was about to say something, but was cut-off by the emperess. „I see you are powerful man, Demon king Zaru, did you came to open hostility to our country?“

„Oh, no, not at all! I just came to return the trash. I will leave now, but remember this: I’m not unreasonable, if you let me and my people live, I will let you and your people live as well.“

„So if we don’t attack, you won’t attack as well?“

„I promise that on my name and name of my goddess.“

„I see…“

„Let’s get rid of this hero first. No-one will blame us if we say that the demon lord thrown a reanimated corpse at us.“

„That’s true. I will see to it.“

At that time the death sentence of Asta the Starlight hero was sign. And Zaru that evening leveled up again. Yet this time, his level returned back to level one as well.

This night, Zaru became [True demon lord] and the world shook in fear. True demon lord race is also known as: The Hero killers.
