Chapter 5:

It’s An Adventure, Right, Right!? (Part 1)

Hoshi Gakkou D-Club!

"Warukami wants you to come look for Matsumoto, It's like an intergalactic game of Hide 'n' Seek!" Said Satoru-kun. "She's the hider and your the seeker."

“Well, supposedly, If we are the seekers, shouldn’t we start looking for her?” Said Tsuyoko.

Satoru-kun clapped his hands, And with that, A cylindrical, bright blue wall of light surrounded the three. It had all sorts of writing and pictures on it. Satoru-kun muttered something under his breath. Soon after a bright red digital clock appeared on the ceiling.

“Satoru-kun,Satoru-kun… what is that timer for?” Asked Asahi, rightfully trembling in fear.

Satoru-kun gave a wide, innocent smile.

“Warukami’s timer! He is giving you 71 hours,59 minutes, and 59 seconds to successfully find Matsumoto and bring her back here!!”

Since there wasn’t any point in telling them about Warukami and Matsumoto’s situation, Asahi explained to his parents that he was gonna sleep at Junpei’s house for a couple days, since there wasn’t any point in telling them about Warukami and Matsumoto’s situation. And to his delight they allowed it.

Tsuyoko just told her parents she’ll be sleeping in a manga capsule for a bit. And to her surprise they allowed it.

As Asahi was walking to school the next day, he felt extremely un-eased. As if someone was watching him. He felt un-eased for the entire day, and when he met up with Tsuyoko again, she said she felt the same.

“May we begin now?” Said Satoru-kun.

Asahi and Tsuyoko went silent.

“You didn’t call him again did you?” Asked Asahi.

“No? Why on earth would I do that?” Replied Tsuyoko.

Satoru-kun looked the tiniest bit confused.

“If I don’t help you in your game of Hide ‘n’ Seek, who will? I know for sure Warukami won’t!” He said. “I’ll transport you from one dimension to another! Anyways, without further ado, dimension one!”

With one simple flick of his wrist and click of his fingers. The temporary trio disappeared.

The three arrived in a dry land, full of mountains  and… pigs… loads of them. Though they werent just any ordinary pigs. They had  Clothes, and shops, as if they had started a civilisation of their own. Asahi didn’t seem to phased by the pigs but he couldn’t say the same for Tsuyoko who seemed rather revolted.

“Ew! Matsumoto definitely isn’t here! Can we transport somewhere more pleasant!?” Said Tsuyoko, dancing around, trying to avoid touching any of the beasts.

“As you wish.” Said Satoru-kun, who looked as if he had just finished a very pleasant conversation with a female pig. Satoru-kun did as he was told and transported to a new universe.

After a while, the temporary trio found themselfs in a medieval town. Since they had literally appeared out of thin air, some civilians went to tell the soldiers and knights about Satoru-kun, Asahi and Tsuyoko. Sooner or later, two knights arrived where the trio were.

“You three over there! What are thou thinking, teleporting and trotting over our village!?” Said one of the knights.

“Trotting? Thy?” Said Satoru-kun, leaning in to whisper, “I never knew they actually spoke all funky like that, what an odd bunch, right?”.

Asahi let out a small snicker, an loud exhale out the nose if you will. This obviously wasn’t funny to the knights at all.

“You three! Thou shall come with us to the castle of King Asfolioso II! We shall burn you there!” Said one of the knights.

Without a word, Satoru-kun transported away to another world.

“Might have accidentally traveled back in time instead! Sorry!” Said Satoru-kun, rubbing his hand on his head.

The trio arrived in another village. It was slightly more modern than the previous one, as if it were the late 1800s or early 1900s, but modern day technology seemed to be a thing though it was more like it was from the middle of 2008-2016. As an elder walked past, Asahi took the chance to ask about Matsumoto.

“Excuse me? May I bother you for a bit?” Said Asahi.

The elder nodded.

“Have you seen a girl named Matsumoto Kaguya? She has red hair, green eyes and is rather short?”

The elder thought for a moment.

“Are you talking the good knight, Matto?”

Asahi glanced at Satoru-kun, who had a genuine smile on his face.

“Seems like we’ve found who we’re looking for!”
