Date Night!

(As two years now passes in the Royal Capital, Reika and Aoki was then promoted to the Royal Elite Guardians, Aoki was now Arthur's top disciple after passing the Royal Knights Exam as both Aoki, Reika and Vuella was completing commission after commission in the Adventurer's Guild and enjoyed their lives in the Region of Magic. Just then, Aoki was now relaxing with Arthur at a nearby tavern and was drinking pitches of booze.)

"Aoki: Man.. Look at me, two years ago I couldn't do almost anything and now me and Reika are Elite Royal Knights!"
"Arthur: I really am proud of you Aoki, you really gained a lot of confidence after two years passed. Its a good thing too!"
"Aoki: Aw shucks, it's because of you guys I'm even like this right now."
"Arthur: Hm.. Is that so? I'm glad to hear that!"
(As Aoki smiled, Arthur was then curious about a certain topic.)
"So tell me, what's going on with you and Miss Reika?"
(Aoki then spits out his booze as he coughed, quickly reacting to the topic.)
"Aoki: W-WHAT?! HUH??! W-WHAT UHH.. W-WHAT DO YOU MEAN?"
"Arthur: Well to be honest, I'm not the only one who noticed how close you two are recently. Even the royal family has been noticing it, when are you even gonna ask her on a date?"
"Aoki: S-STOP!!!! LOOK.. LISTEN..! I..- I don't know if Reika.. even likes me that way, she's a freaking destroyer goddess and I'm just a puny human, that just feels.. wrong..."
"Arthur: If you ask me, taking a goddess out on a date is like showing her your respects."
"Aoki: What do you mean by that...?"
"Arthur: Well think about it, if you only see her as a friend as she does the same, then its best to prove your friendship and show her a fun time out!"
"Aoki: Well.. I'll give it a try."
(Meanwhile, Reika was drinking freshly made tea with Roselyn and Vuella on the balcony and watches the mesmerizing view of the royal capital while chatting.)
"Roselyn: You know, its been a while since the Royal Capital had a celebration and you two wasn't celebrated for your promotions!"
"Reika: I do not find the need to celebrate a promotion like so. If anything, we should celebrate Vuella for not going out shopping for a month straight."
"Vuella: H-Hey! I pretty much bought out everything!"
(Roselyn and Reika then chuckled and continued enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.)

"Roselyn: Hm.. Lady Reika, if I may ask... Is Sir Toshiharu seeing anyone?"
(Reika opened one of her eyes in response as she was curious.)
"Reika: Why do you ask?"
"Roselyn: Well, its very awkward of me to say but.. I noticed you two have gotten a bit closer these past two years working together."
"Reika: I only see that human as..."
(Reika suddenly realizes she forgot about her game with Aoki and does not know what he is to her anymore which now covers the atmosphere with silence for a quick moment.)
"Roselyn: Uh.. Lady Reika..?"
"Reika: ....I don't know.."
(Vuella and Roselyn was confused for a moment.)
"To tell the truth Princess Roselyn, that human isn't from this world."
"Roselyn: He's not?"
(She then shook her head saying no as Reika then explained everything between them, including Earth's explosion and their arrival on the planet which brought a surprise to her.)
"Roselyn: If Sir Toshiharu managed to upset you, you'd kill him..?"
"Reika: That was the objective I had. But.. After meeting him, things have changed. I've became less.. assertive towards him. I don't know what it means but, I think something is wrong with me. I don't know what this feeling is but my instincts tells me to be by his side everyday."
(Vuella and Roselyn was then speechless as Roselyn then stood up.)
"Roselyn: If you ask me, Lady Reika... Either Sir Toshiharu a very good friend to you or you've developed feelings for him."
"Reika: Even if I developed feelings for him, there's nothing that human did to prove he'd feel the same way about me! Plus.. I'm a destroyer, he's a feeble living creature... A combination like that isn't even right... it just feels majorly wrong...!"
"Vuella: To tell the truth, I dated a human before."
(Reika then gave her attention to Vuella.)

"He was very kind and sweet, he always took the time to care about me.. But when the day came that he died while taking a double S rated commission, I was broken."
"Reika: Really..? Well... That's another reason why I wouldn't do it."
"Aoki: The reason why I wouldn't do it because of one thing."
"Arthur: What's that?"
"Roselyn: How come you won't go for it and ask him?"
(As both Aoki and Reika was silent, they both spoke at the same time.)
"Reika: ...I care about him to the point we're just good friends."
"Aoki: ...I I care about her to the point we're just good friends."
(Arthur then pats Aoki's shoulder and gives him a smile.)
"Arthur: Call her."
(Roselyn then stood up with her head down and gives a smile to Reika as she held her hands.)
"Roselyn & Vuella: Call him."
"Aoki: I don't know what to say though..."
"Reika: I will not! I'm a destroyer..! He's just a feeble human, us going out together... isn't even possible. I should be destroying things, not hanging out with people..!"
"Roselyn: Personally.. I think you should put your destroyer ways on hold for now and save them for enemies. You'll get a chance to destroy, but a time will come where you might be too late. As your friend dear Reika, I cannot let you miss a chance to be closer to someone you care about."

(Reika was silent as she then thought about it for a moment. As it was now nighttime, Aoki was standing by the Royal Capital's plaza as he waited for Reika after having the courage to ask her out. Moments later, footsteps was approaching Aoki as he then sees the newly dressed Reika wearing an exotic dress with an embarrassed look on her face but had Aoki blush as he was mesmerized at the way she is dressed then snapped out of it.)

"Aoki: Y-You.. look lovely, Reika..."
"Reika: ...."
(Her face was suddenly red as she had nothing to say then turned around to ease herself as she never felt as embarrassed as she is now then takes two deep breathes and turns back around.)
"Thank you hu-.. I mean, Toshiharu..."
(Aoki was then caught off guard as he heard Reika call him Toshiharu instead of human.)
"So.. Are we gonna go..?"
"Aoki: O-Oh.. right.. yeah.."
(Aoki then had his hand out as Reika hesitated but then held his hand as they both took a stroll around the beautifully lighted Royal Capital and participated in several planned events together then stopped at a nearby restaurant to eat. As they've ordered their food, Aoki and Reika was still silent to each other as the awkwardness was flaring.)
".... How's... How's.. uh.. things.. with Roselyn a-and Vuella..?"
"Reika: Its... fine.. How's... training with Arthur...?"
"Aoki: Its... good.."
(As silence then reappeared in their atmosphere, Aoki then takes a long exhale and had the confidence to speak more.)
"Reika, there's a reason I wanted to take you out tonight."
"Reika: Hm?"
"Aoki: Look, its been a little over two years ever since we met and I know you're a destroyer goddess but... Reika, I want us to be good friends."
"Reika: Huh?"
"Aoki: You always address me as "human", I was able to tolerate it but.. I'm just getting the feeling that I'm not friendworthy to you. I will admit that there are times I even avoided you just so I don't hear you call me a human."
(Her eyes opened a bit widely as a reaction to what Aoki said.)
"I know I'm feeble, I know I'm weak. But I've really been trying to reach your standards as a friend. I don't want to be someone you can always look down on when I see you as a very trustworthy someone to me!"

(After what Aoki said, the silence between them returns again as he then took one look at Reika and noticed a tear flooding down her cheek which made him worried as she then chuckled with a smile then started to laugh a tiny bit which gave Aoki a little ease.)

"Reika: Toshiharu.. Do you mean that?"
"Aoki: Of course I do!"
"Reika: You're so hopeless... Look, because I call you a human doesn't mean I don't look down on you, I call you a human because it reminds me of you. You've been a friend to me ever since you actually risked your life to stop me from destroying Earth. If that isn't worthy, I don't know what is then. The point is, you've always been a friend to me. I just didn't want to say anything."
(She then smiles as Aoki started laughing too.)
"Aoki: Wow.. So... We didn't really have to come out tonight then huh..?"
"Reika: Well... After we eat, I want to show you something. Its.. a thank you."
"Aoki: Alright then, I wonder what it is.."
(After they then ate at the restaurant, they both walked back to the plaza as Reika then took two steps on air with no platforms at all, Aoki then remained on the ground to watch her as the rest of the plaza noticed Reika in midair.)
"(Thinking): What could she be doing..?"

(Reika then closes her eyes and lets herself fall out of the sky which then scared everyone including Aoki until she then launches herself back into the air by forcing her gravity to lower which lifts her into the air as she then flies around with all eight of her destructive orbs then separates them as all eight orbs then each creates a long ray of triggerable explosions as she then creates an explosive trail behind her which spelled out a message for Aoki. Reika then begins spinning around and created a wind-like vortex which only pulled event lanterns and triggers all eight orbs to explode the rays which explodes Reika's message but instead released a beautiful, mesmerizing sight of lanterns and fireworks all over the Royal Capital for all to see. Aoki was the most amazed at Reika's beautiful work.)

"Reika(Thinking): Thank you for tonight, I genuinely had fun.... Aoki."
(She then smiles as everyone cheered for Reika's act, Roselyn from afar in the capital towers was smiling at the view as her plan was accomplished while Arthur sitting atop a tavern was drinking booze while enjoying the show as well then was given a call by Roselyn on his seal.)
"Arthur: Princess, your idea worked and I gotta say, that brain of yours is something else!"
"Roselyn: Aww.. shucks, thank you, Lord Arthur. You did a marvelous job on your end in convincing Aoki to ask her out. As promised, I will make sure you are compensated for your work. I just knew I could count on the best royal knight for the job."
"Arthur: Anything for the princess, my liege."
(Roselyn chuckled as she continued to enjoy the view.)
"Roselyn: Tonight was a really great night, sleep well Arthur."
"Arthur: Goodnight Princess."
(As the call ended she then watched the view of fireworks still along with the entire Royal Capital for this night was one they would not forget for a long time.)
