Defend The Capital!

(After the Royal Capital enters its second day of its special event, Aoki then awakens to the sun shining in his face as he noticed his room was messy as he then got up on his feet and cleaned up until he then answered another knock on his door. After opening the door, it was a perked Arthur whom was eager to see how Aoki was doing.)
"Arthur: Good afternoon, Aoki!"
"Aoki: Oh.. Afternoon Arthur, man that was some event last night... What even happened?"
"Arthur: Well, you was very drunk but couldn't be sobered so there may or may not have been a party in your room while you was sleep."
(Aoki suddenly then notices something completely out of place on the ground near him.)
"Why is there a used c****m on the floor?"
"Arthur: .... UHHH.. Some people may have gotten a bit crazy in here..."
"Aoki: Glad they had fun."
"Arthur: ...Uh.. Aoki, aren't you.. somewhere in your twenties...?"
"Aoki: I'm actually twenty eight."
"Arthur: YOU'RE A TWENTY EIGHT YEAR OLD VIRGIN?!"
"Aoki: Unfortunately yes, but its a good thing."
"Arthur: No. No. No, this will not do. My top disciple can't be a virgin all his life!"
"Aoki: Its okay Arthur, you don't need to-"
"Arthur: NO!"
(Arthur began shedding a tear as he felt sorry for Aoki.)

"Listen here Aoki boy... Not once have I ever had a disciple graduate under me without being a virgin! You will have your first time with that someone you love."
"Aoki: Look, its okay. Just help me clean up real quick."
(As Aoki then cleaned up the room, he took a little walk outside the royal capital and sits in a grassland for a while, he looked up into the skies and wondered to himself about the future until he was suddenly then interrupted by Banri whom was sensing negative energy in the distance then appeared as a physical form only Aoki could see.)
"Banri: I don't like this feeling."
"Aoki: Hm?"
"Banri: It seems that you rarely use me for any use of combat and it really ticks me off you know that? Also, I am sensing some very bad aura from across the horizon."
"Aoki: I don't use you anymore because we haven't sorted out a contract and I'd rather keep it that way than even use you again!"
"Banri: Is that how it is brat? You're going to throw me away after I gave you my power? Don't forget, I'm the one who's keeping you alive here!"
"Aoki: Even if you are, I'm still keeping my word!"
(Banri laughed as he then sees Aoki's word as an empty threat.)
"Banri: We'll see. In that case, I no longer will be lending you any of my abilities. We'll see how long you can last without my help to prove your case!"
"Aoki: Ha! You can try me and I'll win!"
"Banri: Is that so?"
(Banri then spawns an hourglass which will countdown the entire day.)

"This hourglass will countdown until the end of the day. If you can prove you do not need my help for the incoming attack, I will leave your body and find a new host. If I'm actually summoned out to fight in your battles, a contract between us will be forcefully made. Do we have a deal, punkass?"
"Aoki: Deal, I'll kick your ass with this deal!"
"Banri: I'll take your word for it..."
(As Banri then vanished back into Aoki's body, Aoki's maxed out power was revoked, Aoki was now at a B-Rank level in combat with his magical abilities. Aoki suddenly then notices an unknown presence and was suddenly caught off guard.)
"Aoki: Who's there?! Show yourselves!!"
"???: Are you familiar with an elemental welding attacker at the Royal Capital two years ago?"
"Aoki: Who is asking...?"
"???: The same individual who was suppose to arrest that same attacker."
"Aoki: What..? Okay who even are you?!"
"Caelian Saphidoru (16th Captain Of REDD): My name is Caelian Saphidoru. I represent the Region of Elements as one of the Region of Elements Defense Division."
"Aoki: Why exactly are you here if you're from the Region of Elements?"
"Caelian: I'm here to inform you of an incoming threat. Sometime tonight, the Royal Capital is soon to be attacked by the same bandit gang who's leader was killed two years ago."
"Aoki: Why did they wait all this time until now to strike?"
"Caelian: The biggest threats in their way is an S+ rated adventurer who goes by the name Reika and a cosmic eyed adventurer who worked alongside her. The Elemental Defense Division is currently doing whatever we can to stop this massive crowd of bandits but they still plan to raid the capital tonight, consider yourself warned."
(Before Caelian left, Aoki then asked him one last question.)

"Aoki: How exactly do you know about all of this..?"
"Caelian: Think of me.. As a vigilante spy, Toshiharu Aoki."
(Aoki suddenly jumped as Caelian knew his name then he vanishes as Aoki then runs back to the Royal Capital to inform the royal family of the incoming attack.)
"Venali: An attack on the capital...?"
"Fenius: What are we going to do?!"
"Roselyn: Is there an accurate time when these elementals arrive, Sir Toshiharu?"
"Aoki: There is no specific time but I do know that they arrive later on tonight."
"Venali: There's not enough time then... Aoki, for the time being, I am parring you into Arthur's squad as for you Reika, you're saved as the trump card but for the time being, you are to protect Fenius at all costs, even destruction. Roselyn, I'm entrusting you to have the capital evacuated into the nearest shelters if they manage to break through our defenses."
"Roselyn: Understood!"
"Venali: As for the Royal Knights, prepare the magic artilleries and set the barriers on the entire capital on all sides, we prepare for battle at night!"
"All: RIGHT!"

(As the public announcement was made to all adventurers in the Royal Capital, the Region of Magic entered a public lockdown until the crisis was averted as innocent civilians inside the capital was in fear of the potential outcomes as Royal Knights throughout the capital was in position at all entry gates for any potential break-ins as A ranked adventurers and higher were atop the region's walls for a clear view of the horizon. Reika was then meditating at the top of the castle as Fenius and Roselyn were together and protected each other as Arthur and Aoki then was standing outside the main gates of the capital as they waited for the attackers. As it was now nightfall, several flares went off in the distance as a huge debris cloud was appearing towards the capital's main gates as a storm of arrows was now fired at the barriers which was countered by automatic magical defenses as Arthur then began walking towards the debris and noticed the massive wave of raging horses with the elemental welding bandits raging towards the gates as Arthur then stares down the rampaging horses without fear or any hesitation to turn back. As the horses was beginning to arrive closer, Arthur deviously smirked and grips his right hand which began glowing a golden light as he began to release a saber created from divine magic. As the saber was created, the golden magic was then engulfed across his entire arm as Arthur then stabs the ground and creates a magic incantation which the divine light suspended their shadows from any movement.)

"Arthur: You fools.. DARE CHALLENGE THE MAGIC REGION? DON'T THINK YOU'LL BE ABLE TO RUN AWAY FROM ME!"
(Arthur then begins to charge a massive orb from his own magic while combining it with the anger he has right now. Arthur then launches the massive attack which explodes into a meteor rain and blasts down on the immovable horses and bandits while screaming and moans of pain as Arthur was levitating in mid-air to see more bandits arriving towards the gates.)
"Arthur: Defend the gates, I give you the go to attack and defend the capital at all costs!"
(As Arthur then gives the signal, all of the Royal Knights guarding the main gates creates a planned formation as the first wave of Royal Knights were then charging magic energy into their bow and arrows which was launched at the bandits whom was countering several arrows at a time with their own elemental abilities.)
"Aoki: Lets do this!"
(Aoki then draws his exotically crafted polearm by Arthur himself and rushes to battle as he began battling several of the sword-welding bandits and began fighting at a fast pace as the Royal Knights keeps their defenses up until they've noticed airborne bandits striking down the barriers which has triggered Reika's destruction orbs to defend the barriers by attacking the airborne attackers as she continued to meditate.)
"Fenius: Are we gonna be win..?"
"Roselyn: Don't worry dear brother.. The Royal Knights, Reika and Aoki are down there, even Vuella is fighting! We'll be sure to win!"
"Fenius: I hope so sister..."
(As Fenius continued to watch the ongoing fighting outside the Royal Capital, he then notices the bandits in the air which brought a bit of nervousness to his emotions as Reika was continuing to defend Fenius and Roselyn's tower.)

"Reika: You may ease yourself, Sir Pierceman. There is no chance of the bandits breaking in."
"Fenius: Okay..!"
(As a loud hiss was heard in the distance, Arthur looked afar and notices one of the Elemental Regions dangerous sealed creatures, a forty feet serpent which was summoned yet chained down was then released and rushes towards the Royal Capital which then began to splatter every Royal Guard in its path. As the serpent was then blasted by magic which was immune.)
"Arthur: ...TCH!"
(Arthur then descends to the ground and stands directly in its path then without flinching or reacting, Arthur's right arm began to smoke as if it was burning then catch fire while combining his divine magic. As the fire then becomes hotter and hotter, the fire then turns into pure magma as he was beginning to use fifty percent of his two magical abilities which triggered all of the knights, including Aoki to back away from the impact.)
"Arthur: I swear... On my pride as Lord Arthur Williams of the Royal Knights... DON'T UNDERESTIMATE OUR POWER WITH A DAMNED SNAKE!!!"

(As the serpent and Arthur's fist collided, the combination of magma and Arthur's divine magic was then so powerful, a massive wave of combustion blasts the serpent into smithereens along with the remaining bandits which all of the capital defenders was behind Arthur to avoid becoming collateral damage. As Arthur's attack was then over, they all looked around and noticed no village was impacted by the devastating attack for they all was protected by Reika's shields from afar. The remaining bandits then injected themselves with a drug which will multiply their power into the hundred thousands. As Aoki noticed, he then rushes towards the amplified bandits to stop them but was trapped into a three on one assault which in the process, his cockiness costed Aoki's left arm to be slashed open and left defenseless by a careless mistake. After losing all motion in his left arm, Arthur quickly rushed to Aoki to defend him.)

"Aoki! The hell is going on?!"
"Aoki: I.. I d-don't know..!!!"
"Arthur: Keep your eyes on the battle, don't let anything else be a distraction to you!"
"Aoki: Okay...!"
(Arthur then continues battling off several of the remaining bandits as Aoki then heals his arm thanks to a portion of the healing magic he has learned but was left to battle an S-rated elemental bandit whom a masked female, swinging nun-chucks which generated a snowy-like presence. Aoki then did not back down and rushes to battle her while gripping his polearm.)
"Roselyn: Come on Aoki..!"
"Fenius: You got this, big bro!"
"Reika (Thinking): Something must have happened between him and Banri, I can't sense his magical power being maxed out now.."

(As Aoki was battling the nunchuck fighting female bandit, Aoki was then directly hit across the face after sloppily opening his guard and was then bruised and close to being knocked out. Aoki then resorts to slamming his fist into the ground which created a massive crack inside his magic circle and summons a manipulative casting of sound magic which manipulated the ground into creating endless ground-manipulating shockwaves which distracted the bandits into losing their guard which gives Aoki the chance to strike with his polearm at the same bandit he continues to fight at close combat. The female bandit then rebalances herself and focuses on fighting Aoki at close range as they both delivered and suffered trading blows towards each other as Aoki was taking the most damage. As they both prepared for one final clash, the bandit then once again opens Aoki's guard as she prepared for the killing blow until Aoki then flashed with lightning magic and grips his polearm in midair then impales the polearm into the female bandit which forced her to choke on her own blood knowing the divine spear blade was poisoning her elemental drug which reverted her to normal as Aoki then confirmed his victory.)

"Aoki: She's down..!"
"Arthur: GOOD! The other three are finished here as well! Four down, one to go!"
(As Aoki, Arthur and the Royal Knights searched for the remaining bandit whom was hiding in the nearby forest. The remaining bandit then suddenly flash steps to Aoki as he noticed him quickly and attacks with then was punched directly into the chest which forced Aoki's own heart to explode into bits and reveal an indented fist which surprised everyone in the Royal Knights, including Reika, Fenius, Vuella and Roselyn. Arthur then quickly rushes to the collapsed Aoki with worry.)
"Arthur: AOKI!!"
"Everyone: AOKI!!!"
"Boss Bandit: Its perfectly clear he was weak, what is he? B-ranked?"
"Fenius: S-Sister... I-Is he..?"
"Roselyn: Fenius. Stay here."
"Arthur: YOU PIECE OF SHIT, I'LL MAKE YOU REGRET HURTING MY DISCIPLE!"
(In an instant, the commanding bandit then swings a chained mace at Arthur which was gripped and blocked by a pissed off Roselyn who began to generate an unfamiliar presence.)
"Arthur: Princess Roselyn!"
"Boss Bandit: Well well, it appears the princess has finally came out to defend her kingdom huh? Don't tell me you was actually hiding with the family huh?"
"Roselyn: Shut your damn mouth."
(Roselyn's presence then revealed a white and red-ish aura surrounding her as she then grew one wing on her back as her curse mark was glowing.)
"It's such a shame, I really didn't want to use this until it was necessary. But I guess, such trash sometimes deserves the highest level of discipline."
"Boss Bandit: Then lets play!"

(Roselyn's wing then expanded in size and blocks a massive barrage of elemental energy orbs flying towards her. Roselyn then stomps onto the ground with such force, the entire ground then created a massive slope of rock which Roselyn runs upon and continues to dodge every elemental attack thrown at her. As Roselyn then stares at an incoming meteorite engulfed with poisoned elemental energy which forces the cursed Roselyn to kick through the attack which dissolved in midair and surprises the bandit who then noticed Roselyn was behind him. The second the bandit turns around, his arms was suddenly dismembered by two tendrils released from Roselyn's one wing which she then grips the shadow of the bandit and manipulates the shadow to attack itself then choke the bandit.)

"Roselyn: Your life ends now."
(Before Roselyn could decapitate the bandit, Arthur grips her sword's blade before she could slash which forced her to calm herself down.)
"Arthur: No princess. We do not spill blood in vengeance, we spill blood in defense."
"Roselyn: ....Tch."
(As the Royal Knights then cornered the neutralized bandit and arrested him, Arthur then walked towards the deceased Aoki and focuses a massive amount of divine magic into resurrecting his destroyed heart. As Roselyn and the knights watched Arthur at work, he was then exhausted as Aoki coughed and breathed for air once again then looked around to notice he's alive.)
"Aoki: The hell..?! I'm alive...?"
"Arthur: Relax, you wasn't really dead Aoki."
"Aoki: That's impossible..! My heart was in bits!"
"Arthur: My magic barrier is why you was able to remain alive, despite losing your heart."
(As everyone was confused, Arthur pointed up and revealed a massive barrier covering the entire Region of Magic which was invisible the entire time until now.)
"Roselyn: ...That barrier.. IS HUGE..!!!"
"Aoki: No way..! So the villages-"
"Arthur: No civilian, even if they flee was going to be hurt because every single village is protected by additional magic barriers which gave me the chance to kill that large serpent."
"Roselyn: Lord Arthur... You've done it again.."

(They all thanked Arthur for his quick thinking into installing the barriers as Aoki then felt disappointed in himself for dying on the battlefield. As everything was now calm hours later, everyone whom was injured by the bandits was then rushed to nearby infirmaries to recover as the rest of the surviving knights was cheering in the taverns while drinking and eating to their hearts content as a celebration. Meanwhile, Aoki was seen at the bar with Arthur and was drinking one small barrel of booze to take the edge off of his realistic death.)

"Arthur: Hey Aoki, dying during a fight is very unexpected depending on the stipulations. But it also means you've shown dignity and pride to die in the midst of a war."
"Aoki: But come on.. What the hell even happened to me..?! I died just from losing my own heart.. Am I just that weak without Banri's powers...?"
"Arthur: Your curse? Would you mind telling me what happened between the two of you?"
(Aoki then explained everything that happened which had Arthur a little worried.)
"So he cut the cord with you for 24 hours to prove you're weak without him?"
"Aoki: Yeah."
"Arthur: ....Aoki. I mean this with all sincere honesty.. Without Banri's power to match our levels in power, you are weak."
(Aoki continued to drink to wash the guilt away.)
"Aoki: So how can I get stronger exactly?"
"Arthur: Well, there are three ways how. One, you can travel to the lowest level of the dungeon and clear out every floor until you're powerful enough to rival a deity. Two, you can continue having training sessions with me on a daily basis or three, try to work things out between you and Banri then create a contract with him which will create a working flow of power."
"Aoki: ... I'm gonna need a while to think about it."
(Aoki then places the empty barrel down and pays a tip.)
"Thanks for the drink, I'm gonna go for a walk."
(Aoki then leaves the tavern and goes for a walk in the Royal Capital then notices Reika, Vuella and Roselyn in one spot but walks past them to try and not be noticed until Roselyn then called his name after noticing him.)

"Roselyn: Aoki! Come sit with us!"
"Aoki: Uh.. I would. But.. I'm gonna head back to the capital for the night... Have fun girls..!"
(As Aoki then walked off after saying nothing else, they then was worried for him as Aoki was on his way to the palace alone. Moments later, Aoki returned to the Royal Capital but was in his room by himself as he continues to hear the capital cheer with victory in their lungs.)
"How can I protect anyone as an adventurer and a Royal Knight if I die in the middle of my first capital defense..? I didn't know Banri was truly the reason I was that powerful..."
"???: Finally getting the picture you punkass brat?"
(Aoki then notices the voice and looked at the mirror to see Banri's physical body but with his arms crossed in disappointment.)
"Aoki: Okay..! Okay.. You win, I never should've doubted you Banri... You win, can you please gift me your power to be strong enough to protect everyone?"
"Banri: As much as I hate you, I can agree to two conditions. Condition number one: Whenever you are involved in a fight, I can transfer you fifteen percent of my full power. Condition number two: Regardless of how weak you are, you can only use my power for only ten minutes."
"Aoki: Why ten minutes?"
"Banri: Are you really asking me this? You're helpless, pathetic, you can't even intend to rival Lord Arthur. Going over ten minutes with my power will just increase the chances of me controlling you permanently."
"Aoki: .... I'll risk it, let's just make a contract."
"Banri: Tch, you still tick me off."
(As Aoki and Banri then agreed to the conditions, Banri then chooses to rest around Aoki's neck as if he was wearing a collar but was really a third degree burn mark which scared Aoki a bit knowing that he chose the neck of all other places on his body.)
"In case you try to defy my conditions, I've sealed myself around your neck for an instant decapitation. So don't expect any easy tricks when making a pact with me!"
"Aoki: ....Tch. F**k you, Banri..."
