Back To School!/Bai's Retracement.

(As a new week sets in, Bai then begins to pack books, papers and anything else needed before walking out the door. Suddenly, a tired and yawning Negan walks in Bai's room and was curious on what he was doing so early at 5:00 AM in the morning.)

"Negan: Hey.. What you doing up so early kid...?"
"Bai: Sorry, I didn't tell you. I'm actually a high school student at a nearby academy so I have to leave to meetup with the counsel."
"Negan: ..."
"Bai: Uh.. Negan?"
"Negan: Sorry.. I'm a little too tired... Let me recap.. So you go to school, you have to leave early.. to meet with your counsel...?"
"Bai: Yup!"
"Negan: Alright.. If anyone bothers you, don't be afraid to call me now..."
"Bai: I'll keep that in mind..!"

(As Bai then leaves without his sister, he'd then arrive at his school, Jingyi Grand Academy, the school of next generational mercenaries and arrives at his club's room to see a sleeping child whom was wearing a pirate hat and was holding his sleeping familiar as Bai then pats his head to wake him up.)

"Bai: Hey, time to wake up."

(The child sized student then groans as he then looks up to see Bai in front of him then opens his eyes a bit.)

"Lian Zexi (Tier C | Rank 334 | Power: Sleep Blessing): Oh.. Mr. Zhen, good morning..."
"Bai: Overslept again huh?"
"Lian: Hmph... I can't control it you know..."
"Bai: Heh... What's with the pirate hat?"
"Lian: Huh..? Oh...! I uhhh... I don't know..."

(Lian was then dumbfounded by his own sleepwalking as Bai then chuckles and keeps him company until the rest of the club members has arrived. As the sun begins rising higher over the horizon, Bai then hears more footsteps coming down the hall as the door then slides open as an energized girl with a ponytail, custom-made eyepatch and wearing her fantasy and revealing school attire enters the room while introducing herself.)

"Cheng Wei (Tier B | Rank 229 | Power: Future Blessing): Rejoice, my dear comrades! For I, Cheng Wei, of the Wei Dynasty has arrived into the headquarters of operations!"
"Bai: Good morning Wei."
"Cheng: Ah! Good morning fair Sir Zhen, are thou recovering well after his coma?"
"Bai: News sure does travel fast I see... Well, I'm alright now, I'm just lucky I escaped such a fate."
"Lian: Ahh.. Morning Wei..."
"Cheng: Sir Zhen, shall I trouble you to fetch me a piece of writing cloth from the headquarters' cabinet?"
"Bai: You mean paper right...?"
"Cheng: Of course!"

(As Bai then goes to the cabinet, he'd then open the door to be pounced on by another girl the same age and height as Bai but is trying to kiss him on the lips as Bai was pushing her back.)

"Bai: AHHH! NOT AGAIN!! XIUYING, SNAP OUT OF IT!!"
"Qiu Xiuying (Tier B | Rank 200 | Power: Love Blessing): I CAN'T HELP IT BAI, I WAS SO WORRIED FOR YOU WHEN YOU WAS IN A COMA AND NOW YOU'RE BACK, I MISSED YOU SO MUCHHH!!!"
"Bai: SOMEONE HELP ME!"

(After five minutes goes by, Qiu was looking innocent with a smile on her face as Bai was covered with lipstick all over his face as he felt violated. During the debacle, Cheng got her sheet of paper and was drawing a piece of her own art as Lian was continuing to sleep. The club door opens to a tall male wearing glasses, wearing two self-made gauntlet and has a scar across both his eyes as he's still able to open them.)

"Peng Yuhan (Tier D | Rank: 473 | Power: Gun Curse): Good morning everyone."

(As everyone, including Lian looked up to see Peng, Cheng then hid her face as she was blushing secretly while Bai welcomes Peng normally.)

"Bai: Good morning Yuhan, did you sleep well?"
"Peng: Ahh... A bit of a sore back, I could've slept better though."
"Bai: Better than nothing, am I right?"
"Peng: Good morning, Wei."
"Cheng: A-AHHH! Umm.. G-Good m-morrow t-to y-yo..-you... S-Sir Yuhan...!"

(As the door opened once more, one final female appeared as she has long flowing silver hair, crystal pink eyes, wearing properly dressed school attire and has a spiked wristband on her wrist as she then greets herself to everyone in the room.)

"Jia Yi (Tier S | Rank 10 | Power: ??? Curse, ??? Blessing): It seems like everyone is here."
"Bai: Good morning Yi."
"Everyone Else: Good morning!"
"Jia: Good morning to you all as well. Since everyone is here and present, lets begin the Disciplinary Committee meeting."

(She then clears her throat after organizing the documents needed.)

"As we know, Jingyi Grand Academy has been standing for 99 years and tomorrow is the official 100th anniversary of this school. The Student Counsel has entrusted us as the Disciplinary Committee to ensure safety and security in and around the school grounds, any questions?"
"Cheng: My follow commander, if the time comes of trespassing intrusions, does thou have the right to deliver a taste of excessive justice to the evildoers?"
"Jia: If the prosecutors continue to resist any attempt in stopping, I will grant you excessive force to pin them down."

(Bai then writes down what he's told to do, Peng then asks a question.)

"Peng: One question. If I remember correctly, the school Dean recently confirmed the upcoming arrival of Hong Kong's Mercenary Association. Is this true?"
"Jia: According to the Dean and the Student Counsel, they will arrive later on tomorrow to begin scouting for future talent. Regarding the lack of Mercenaries, there is a new program that was started by the Mercenary Association for any and all willing high school students willing to put their lives on the line against Ghouls."

(Bai suddenly was startled at the word as Jia then quickly noticed.)

"Is something the matter Zhen?"
"Bai: Uh... n-no no... I'm okay.."
"Jia: ...Ahem... Anyway, we won't be expecting them until later on tomorrow after classes are concluded. If there are no more questions, meeting is adjourned."

(As everyone was dismissed, the committee then waits in their separate classrooms as school was beginning to start until Bai was then approached by three higher rank students in the same class as him.)

"Hao Yazhu (Tier A | Rank 83 | Power: Hypnosis Curse): Well well, look who we got here? Its Mr. 500! He finally woke up after getting his ass handed to by Ghouls!"

(As the three laughed at Bai, he remained silent as he kept his cool and drinks his juice until it was snatched by the 2nd bully.)

"Han Yating (Tier A: | Rank 66 | Power: Dragon Blessing): Aww, want your juice you no powered cripple? Here you go!"

(Bai's drink was then dumped on him as his chair was the pulled back for him to fall down as the class then begs the three to stop but ignores them. Bai then wipes himself off and picks his chair back up but was pushed down again by the third bully now.)

"Xiao Ming (Tier A | Rank 91 | Power: Energy Blessing): Why the hell did the Dean allow a cripple like your weak ass, get up and fight back if you can!"
"Bai: Wasting my time.. on nobodies like you three isn't on my schedule."
"Han: The fuck did you say brat?!"

(After an echoing punch to the face, Bai was sent to the opposite side of the classroom as students began to huddle to the sides in panic to avoid being hit while Bai was repositioning himself to get back up.)

"Hao: Aww, getting back up now? Who said you could get up?!"

(Hao then hypnotizes Bai into hitting himself as Han and Xiao laughed at Bai's defenseless state but he continues to endure everything happening to him. Suddenly, the door slams open as Jia blasts a concentrated blast of wind at the three and blasts them into the wall as she storms towards the three bullies and stares them down with her pink eyes darker than usual.)

"Jia Yi (Tier S | Rank 10 | Blessing: ??? Curse, Wind Blessing): This bullying will end now, you animals are attacking a powerless student in the broad daylight during class hours?! Do you three have no shame or were all three of your parents brother and sister that used to fight a lot then accidentally conceive you three?"

(As the class ooo'ed, the three was silent as they then said nothing and stood up.)

"That's what I thought, now get back to your classes. You three are already marked late."

(As the three left, Bai then recollects himself as he wiped his own blood off his face and sighed at the distress he believes he caused for the class as Jia then walks to him to help him out.)

"Bai: I'm sorry everyone.."
"Jia: Zhen, there is nothing for you to apologize for. Those three attacked first, you are a victim."
"Bai: But class didn't even start yet and I could've done something.."
"Jia: Forget class, you're coming with me Zhen."

(As Jia then accompanies Bai to the infirmary, the teacher then walks into the class worried for Bai again as he was then bullied once again. Meanwhile at the infirmary, Bai was patched up in no time as the seductive school nurse was then worried for Bai as well.)

"Su Geng (Jingyi Grand Staff | Power: Heal Blessing, Seduction Curse): Oh my word... Mr. Zhen, how did this happen to you...?!"
"Bai: Another beating. I had to endure it."
"Su: Oh no..! No! No! No! This will not do, Ms. Yi, I ask of you to please keep an eye on this poor boy, he doesn't deserve to be bullied if he's this sweet!"
"Jia: Don't worry, Ms. Geng. I plan to look after Zhen for a long time anyway!"
"Su: Ohhh! Thank you so much!"
"Bai: Okay... A little embarrassing now.."
"Jia: I'm going to return to class, I want you to focus on resting for now Bai."
"Bai: Well, okay. Because even if I do go back, my teacher wouldn't approve of a halfway recovery. So I'm stuck here either way..."

(As Jia then smiles and leaves, hours goes by as Bai was healed up in record time as Jia went by the infirmary again to pick up Bai.)

"Jia: Feeling better?"
"Bai: A lot, yeah. Thanks again, Ms. Geng!"
"Su: No problem, be safe out there kids!"

(As Jia and Bai then walked home together, they'd run into the same three bullies from before as they had unfinished business with Bai especially.)

"Hao: Where you think you two going...?"
"Jia: That is none of your business."
"Xiao: Oh I'm sorry sweetheart but it is... You see, we're just about to help your little friend here with a safe walk home, we thought five people are better than two, right...?"
"Jia: I'll believe your bullshit when I'm tied down to a bed against my will. Come on Bai."

(As they tried to walk off, Xiao then summons an energy barrier around the five of them so there were no means of escape as Jia and Bai were then annoyed.)

"I'm not playing with either of you, take this barrier down. Now."
"Hao: And what if we don't?"

(Han suddenly sneaks behind the two with a katana as Bai was then slashed right through his flesh and feels the pain as he then falls and coughs out blood as Jia was then irate with fury at Bai falling after being attacked.)

"Jia: BAI..! TAKE THIS BARRIER DOWN... NOW!!!"

(Jia's wind begins to increase due to her anger as the three holds their ground while Bai then lies on the ground speechless with a sword plunged in his back and meets the same girl again as before inside his own conscience while time suddenly freezes for everyone but the two.)

"Bai (Conscience): Its you again...!"
"???: Yeah. Its me, welcome."
"Bai: Wait, where even am I...?"
"???: Your mind, dummy. Where else?"
"Bai: Well is there a way back?"
"???: Well that's rude. You're almost unconscious and you end up here, without remembering that you don't have a heart?"

(Bai then notices the hole on his chest as she told the truth.)

"Bai: WHERE IS MY HEART?!"
"???: Heck if I know, that Angel saved you and warned you of the consequences, I didn't. I just did her a favor and gave you the abilities you were due to receive."
"Bai: Okay look, I'm sorry. Let me introduce myself... I am Bai Zhen."
"Xu (Bai's Guardian): ....Xu."
"Bai: I actually have a question. Why is it that I suck with my blessing..?"
"Xu: That is because you're not aiming with focus and you have not had any proper training. But, I will do you a favor and get you out of this situation right now."
"Bai: How exactly will you do that?"
"Xu: Simple, hold still."

(As Xu then walks towards Bai, she'd then lean in and kiss him on the lips which quickly sends Bai back to reality and forces his eyes to open as time resumes. The controlled Bai then rips the sword out his back and surprised Jia in the process as she then cools down her wind.)

"Xiao: HUH?! STILL WON'T GO DOWN HUH?! DO IT AGAIN!"

(Before Han could slash Bai right in his back, Han runs into a gun in the back of his head by a Bai clone which the trigger was then pulled and revealed Han's true form as he squirmed and dies on the floor as its revealed he's a Ghoul. Bai then awakens with both of his guns, loaded and ready and with the swift change of eye color and curse markings, Xu takes control and fires one entire clip at both Xiao and Hao who was hit by the energy compressed shots. The barrier then goes directly down as Xu then pulls the trigger on both of their heads and gives Bai back control of his body as Jia caught him in time before he could fall down.)

"Bai: Ow... Y-Yi...?"
"Jia: Hey... How did...- Did you survive that...?"
"Bai: I... I don't know..."
"???: Are you two okay...?"

(As Jia and Bai turns around, the Dean of Jingyi Grand Academy approached the two with worry on her face. Back at the school, Bai and Jia were both interrogated by the Dean for she can come to a clearer understanding instead of an assumption.)

"Sun Xinyi (Jingyi Grand Academy Dean | Power: Authority Blessing): So if I have this correctly, those three students that were attending this industry for the last four years were Ghouls? And you Ms. Yi, accompanied Mr. Zhen on the way home but was ambushed by the same three Ghouls?"
"Jia: Yes, this is all the correct information I can say on my end."
"Sun: ...This is.. interesting. Mr. Zhen, are you positive you're feeling okay? You did take a sword to the back. I still would say head to the nearby hospital to have your wound patched.)
"Bai: I'm... I'm okay, I promise I will be okay..."
"Sun: Hm.. Alright. We'll put out a notice to the school tomorrow morning, in the meantime, you two are free to go and thank you for telling me everything."

(As the two then leaves the office, Bai and Jia then catches a train on the way home.)

"Jia: Zhen."
"Bai: Huh?"
"Jia: Something is bugging me. You not only took a sword to the back, it was plunged into your heart. How are you still alive...?"
"Bai: ....(Thinking): HOW DOES SHE KNOW THAT...?! (Aloud): How exactly.. did you know where the sword plunged me..?"
"Jia: Every leader of a school should be able to calculate, examine, analyze and research the human body with every organ, height, weight, pulse and so on."
"Bai: How do you even have time for that...?!?!"
"Jia: That doesn't matter, how are you alive is the question that needs an answer, Zhen!"
"Bai: You wouldn't understand..."
"Jia: Understand what? My closest thing to a friend is somehow alive still? I need an answer."
"Bai: Even if I told you, you wouldn't get it...!"
"Jia: At least let me try!"

(As the train now arrives at its next stop, Bai quickly runs off the train away from Jia as he continued to run home. After he arrives home, Bai then notices a humming Negan on the porch, eating a rib-eye well done steak as he noticed a tired out Bai running home.)

"Negan: Welcome back kiddo! There's some steak on the stove if you're hungry."
"Bai: T-Thanks... Listen.. if s-someone.. comes over..-"
"Jia: Zhen!"

(Bai immediately turns around and runs in the house as Negan questions the worried Jia.)

"Negan: Are you Bai's friend he mentioned?"
"Jia: I am. He invited me to his place after school for a private chat."
"Negan: Oh did he now...? My apologies, go on in."
"Jia: Thank you sir."

(As Jia then goes inside, Bai then locks himself in his room and looks around twice only to see Jia inside his room through the wind blasting through his window as a distraction. Jia then pushes Bai onto his bed and hold his arms down for she needed an answer immediately.)

"I will let you go if you answer my question!"
"Bai: I DON'T KNOW!!!"

(As silence then enters the room, Jia lets go of Bai as she then sits down in his chair and looks at him with more worry.)

"Jia: What do you mean "you don't know?"
"Bai: Look... Its hard to say, but... I'm.. somewhat alive... and somewhat not."

(As Jia was confused, Bai then takes off his shirt and reveals his torso in tears with cuts, scars, wounds and many more injuries which has Jia in shock and reaches to touch them.)

"Jia: ...Zhen... What the fuck happened to you...?!"
"Bai: I went through hell... I was in a coma for a whole year of course...-"
"Jia: How..."
"Bai: I was... beaten in an alley... and... thrown into a truck.."
"Jia: .... So what does this... have to do with.. you being a Ghoul or not...?"

(Bai then sighs as he then tries to cover as much as he could, including the fact his heart is gone and he's technically a walking corpse carrying a Blessing.)

"Jia: ...So.. That's what happened. Zhen, please forgive me... I didn't mean to go this far."
"Bai: It's fine."

(Bai then puts back on his shirt after as Bai then goes to open the door by Jia then pulls his shirt to stop him.)

"... Uh... J-Jia...?"
"Jia: To be honest... Can we talk, with the door closed still...?"
"Bai: Uh.. Sure.. What's bothering you?"
"Jia: Nothing except... I'm glad you're still alive..."
"Bai: ...?"
"Jia: We might've been enemies since middle school but the truth is, you piss me off so much I've started falling for you."
"Bai: ...Uhh... I don't think-"

(Jia then forcefully drags Bai to his bed again then sits on top of him as he was confused on what was happening.)

"UHH.. Y-Y-Y-YI...??! W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING...?!"

(Jia then leans in to kiss Bai as silence fills the room as Bai's head was clouded with thoughts on what's going on.)

"Bai (Thinking): Okay.. She's clearly delusional right?! She's the head of the Disciplinary Committee, she couldn't feel this way...!"

(Jia then separates the kiss but shows an entire new side of her. As she slowly inches to remover her school uniform, the door was being knocked on by Negan.)

"Negan: Hey, Bai! Do you want this final steak? Your sister ate three of them and damn she can eat some good meat!"

(As Jia then snaps back to reality, she quickly takes off embarrassed after opening the door and Negan noticing after seeing the door slam.)

"Geez kid, did you release the yolk inside her or something?"
"Bai: OH COME ON NEGAN, NOT RIGHT NOW!"
"Negan: I'm just saying kid, she stormed out of here quick."

(As Negan walked away, Bai then sits up confused at what just happened then feels his own lips for a moment as a small packet was thrown at Bai which he caught.)

"Bai: What is this?"
"Negan: Better safe than sorry!"
"Bai: NEGANNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!"
