First Day at the Academy

It didn't take long for the students to begin dispersing. The only ones that truly remained were the twelve other members of the student council. Adiel moved forward as she confronted Kouki.

"I'm going to make myself clear, 'Forgotten'. We won't ever accept you into the council." her tone was serious and not to take on lightly.

"What? How come?" Kouki was shocked to hear that from her.

This time the one to respond stayed in place but crossed her arms, it was Ophelia, the Dragonkin princess.

"Even if you have proved the interest of the King himself, it does not excuse the fact that we have made notice of how you are without any actual talent." She had an angry look on her face as she claimed.

Next followed the Elf twins, Nafen and Falwen, as they bowed down before speaking. They seemed to have finished each other sentences.

"No magical ability..." "And no physical strength to follow suit..." They looked disappointed.

Keeping her emotionless face Aura the Ex-machina spoke up.

"The only instance in which you can be called good is with spear that you have obtained. Though-" She was cut off by Miyuki as she had a grin on her face, moving her hand up to her mouth to cover her chuckle.

"It is only bowered power, without it you could be called nothing." It was the only thing she said as she walked off the deck and went away. Soon followed everyone else. Adiel stayed slightly longer as she stared down Kouki. Glaring at him and soon walking away.

"They're right...what did I expect."

(Master, do not feel that way. I'm sure one day you will be able to learn skills.)

"Perhaps that day will never come Loreley."

He just stood there distraught as the light shined on him. It was as if he was on a stage, looking at the black abyss in front of him. All he could do now is attend classes.

-Outskirts of Regelia-

In an abandoned castle near the border of Regelia and the Scarlet Mountains owned by the Dragonkin.

"It'll only be a bit longer until they find our hideout, Nyssa."

A tall tan and bald buff man spoke as he faced a woman with a military type bearing. Her green hair was more noticable than anything else.

"I'm already aware, this hideout Isn't really ideal but there really is no other place we could go to. We'd make an enemy of ourselves if we trespassed on some other races border. We don't want that since we'll be on the move soon."

Nyssa had her arms crossed and seemed to be thinking of her future plans.

"Did you hear the news of a new 'Forgotten' appearing in Regelia?" The man said as he sat down in a nearby table.

"Yes, though he doesn't interest me. Especially if he doesn't even have any talent. We're already fine with having one of our own."

"Man that reminds me of how we shaped that boy into someone so dangerous when we took him in."

She looked down for a moment as if she were thinking about the past. Then turning around to face him keeping a normal face.

"Sazud, I need you to go begin setting up the use of Soulsiphons. We want to have them ready to use during our mission. We cannot mess this up, it would be our only chance to have Adiel dead."

She looked at him intently making sure he understood.

"I'm sure you can handle it yourself, correct?"

Sazud grinned and got up as he puffed up his chest.

"Just who do you think you're talking to? Of course I do."

"Does anyone know how many tiers of magic there are?"

Kouki was currently in a magic learning class, to him this was something he really needed to know. Though, he wasn't sure if he would be able to learn.

A bluish white haired girl in the first row raised her hand. 

"Yes?"

"Professor, there is seven tiers of magic. Four sections and two in each section besides the seventh, two in lower-class tier another two in middle-class and the other two in high-class. The seventh and last tier is a form of magic that far surpasses the rest and can only be used by strong individuals with refined abilities."

(Wow, I can already tell she's going to be the smartass.)

(Master!)

"Indeed that is correct, you certainly know your stuff already. Though, there is yet much to learn."

He continued as he walked closer to the chalk board.

"The only one known to use seventh tier magic is none other than your classmate, Adiel."

(What! That's crazy...)

As soon as that was mentioned everyone turned to look at her, she was on the top row letting out as a sigh as she closed her eyes for a brief moment. Like the rest of the student council they were all first years in the Academy. They were all still taking the beginner classes even if they had a lot of the stuff run down already, like Adiel with her massive magical capability. 

(It's pretty nice to have her and Ophelia in this class, you know?)
(Master im quite surprised you still want to hang out with them after earlier.)

(Hmm I guess you have a point but I'll leave it for later.)

"There's a variety of ways you can use magic. For example, incantations. Which is saying the name of the spell or magic before using it. A more rare form is using it without incantations and depending on your mana pool the stronger it'll be. Magic can also be used through a medium like items that amplify the power or make it easier to use. The one form which is still being researched is one that uses creativity, one that uses imagination to use all class of magic."

(Ah I see...thats a lot of ways to use magic. I could try as I get to learn more about it.)

"Tomorrow I will be putting you on mock battles against one a other to see where you're at, I will evaluate you all and do my teaches with the information with what I gather.

With that being said both Ophelia and Adiel turn to look at Kouki, barring their glares.
