Chapter 13:

Chapter 13 Content of the Letter

Kobito no Otoko - Dwarf Man

As Ayumi's boyfriend opened the letter, Koji's magic took effect, flooding the man's mind with memories of his time with Ayumi. He was overcome with a wave of happiness and nostalgia, reliving all the joyful experiences they had shared. But as he stood there, looking at the blank paper, a profound sadness washed over him.

He read the blank page and it was as if every word, every expression of love that he had written was there before him. He realized how foolish and ungrateful he had been, how he had let his troubles consume him and push Ayumi away.

He realized that he had been so caught up in his own problems and frustrations that he had taken Ayumi for granted, and had even lashed out at her unfairly.

The letter that he held in his hand was the same one he had been planning to use to propose to her, with a ring nestled inside. He had spent weeks planning the perfect proposal, rehearsing his words, and selecting the ring. But he had let his frustration and anger get the better of him and he had taken it out on the person he loved the most.

He was filled with regret and sorrow, knowing that he had let the one person who mattered slip away because of his own mistakes. He felt like he had lost everything and was overwhelmed by the weight of his own emotions.

But now, the thought of proposing to her seemed like an impossible dream, given how he had treated her. He felt overwhelmed with regret and self-loathing, realizing how much he had hurt the person he loved the most.

He knew that he had hurt her deeply and that there was no way to undo what he had done. As he stood there, he replayed the scene in his mind, wishing that he had chosen his words more carefully and held his temper in check. But it was too late now. He had let his pride get the better of him, and now he was paying the price.

Ayumi had brought a lightness to his life that he had never known before, and now that light was gone. He knew that he had to face the consequences. Knowing there was no way to make up for his actions, the boyfriend made the difficult decision to leave Ayumi and her life. He left the apartment with a heavy heart, knowing that he could never undo the hurt he had caused her and that it was better for them to part ways.
