Chapter 4:

Look up here, look at me

Caligula

...

"Miss, can I take your order"?

Few seconds passed, the only sound entering my eardrums was the sound of the flickering wind passing near me. An isolated moment, a precious moment, like we were the only beings in that barren place, though full of people. Harrowing feeling in my brain, combined with the pleasant view, I wanted to get on with it, but at the same time, look at her to the eternity. If I was dark, she was my light. A sick joke only made possible by a higher being, a monster encountered a civilian, more specifically, a poor girl, ready to be eaten, but not this time. This time, I was the playwright, making straight lines on everything that I could call myself.

Doodling when there was no time, something that I had to do a long time. Playing the arts that only gods know, impossible to learn for mere mortals, but I was not a mere mortal, I am a monster, totally different.

She was not moving her neck...

She was not moving her neck?

She was not moving her neck?!

She was not moving her neck!

What kinda sick joke is this? What a way to kill the mood, huh.

Me, thinking that I was finally about to be saved by this girl, and then she won't even look at me in the eyes.

What a load of bullshit!

The audacity!

The peasantry!

The foolishness!

...

This bitc—.

"Oh, sorry, didn't know you were there."

...

...

I clear my throat.

I look at her. She's still on the goddamn phone, like she was some kind of savior of mars and that if she didn't do what she had to do in her phone, all the inhabitants in mars would die. A honorable objective, but not one that I cared.

I look at her.

She still ignores me, like I'm some kinda of fucking ghost, an ugly ghost, a pervert ghost. This secret mission must be life threatening.

...

"Miss".

...

I look at her.

"Miss".

...

I look—Give me your goddamn fucking your phone here!

"What"?

"Miss, can I take your order"?

"But you have my phone!"

I held her phone in my chest, impossible for her to hold it again. Her puppy face, tears pouring of her face. My sick brain was enjoying it to the fullest extent.

"Please, kind sir, give it back".

...

I look at her.

"Sir"?

My face gave the biggest grin, my happiness was complete, all my years of stress came to a conclusion. My years of slavery to my father finally have paid off, I was no more a simple peasant, now, a godly thing that had the power to make this girl have the cutest crying.
