A Changed Life = Eternal Fame

"Darling, Sakura! Your fantastic but ridiculous performance is on the news!" Sakura's mother burst to open her bedroom door, frantically lugging her snoozing daughter out of bed.

Sakura dashed into the living room, where her Father and little sister sat; their jaws opened as well as Sakura, who gazed at the headline and reporter read.

"Sakura Sato, a 15-year-old, has gained significant recognition for her breathtaking rendition of the song "My Heart's Internal Fire" by the band RugByGirls.".

Sakura clutched her phone and went on the media. Yes, it was right. The hot topic was Sakura; Sakura felt woozy as she skimmed through the home screen; every photo, ad and video was almost of Sakura, and people responded to the videos and chuckled merrily in pleasure.

Over the next few days, the video began to spread like wildfire. It was shared on social media platforms, blogs, and online forums, and soon enough, it had gone viral. Sakura's inbox was barraged with letters from people worldwide, honouring her voice and talent.

She was surprised by the sudden attention but also a little overwhelmed. She had never predicted her video to become so favoured so quickly. Soon enough, reporters called her for interviews and invited her to perform on a popular TV show.

Her friends were shocked, not about her fame, but about how she had kept it a secret.

"You thought you couldn't tell us! Why, Sakura, why? We would have assisted you if you had become more expressive!" Mad tears gushed from Eli and her friend's eyes as they crossed their arms and stormed off.

Sakura was lost; she collapsed onto the floor on her knees, wailing but deeply enraged.

She adored the fame but also despised it. She adored being the special topic but also loathed it. 

A video could change anyone's life, Sakura thought, but I might have to do something to get my life back on its feet.

Sakura got up as a hurrying crowd streamed onto the streets, running to obtain autographs.
