Chapter 580: Zeth and Sasha vs Herbigon

Narrator: Zeth and Sasha have been approached by the demon, Herbigon!

Zeth: Who are you?

Herbigon: My name is Herbigon. Though you can shorten it to Herbie or Herb if you want. I am a demon specializing in plants.

Sasha: What do you want with us?

*Herbie smirks*

Herbie: It’s nothing complex. I simply want to fight those that are strong enough to take down the Dark Goddess. I want to test my strength.

Zeth: How do we know you don’t want to try to kill us?

Herbie: Well, I seriously doubt I could take you both on at the same time with intent to kill.

*Herbie gets in a fighting stance*

Herbie: Come on. Let’s have a match.

*Ultensmite makes a noise*

Sasha: Herbigon naturally lives in the Forest Terror? All right, fine. Let’s fight.

*Zeth and Sasha get in fighting stances while Ultensmite moves out of the way*

Zeth: Let’s see what you can do!

*Zeth and Sasha start rushing toward Herbie*

*Herbie makes his arms and hands become like large tree trunks covered in magic. The large size allows him to easily land a punch on both Zeth and Sasha. They are knocked back a bit but quickly recover*

*Herbie uses his magic to spawn roots coming out of the ground that wrap around Zeth’s and Sasha’s legs. Zeth releases a couple of Star Shards at the ground to release both him and Sasha. S galaxy then forms on Zeth’s arm*

Zeth: Two can play that game.

*Zeth uses a Galaxy Blast to make a beam of energy come from below Herbie. The beam damages him and knocks him upward. Sasha meets him in the air and kicks him down to the ground, and then intends to stomp on him*

*Suddenly, a whole layer of dirt and grass grows over the top of him which causes Sasha’s stomp not to hit him. Sasha gets off and Zeth marks the ground for explosion (Author’s Note: An ability that Crimson used that Zeth got after they became one again), and then it explodes. A small crater is made from the explosion but Herbie is not there*

Herbie: You like explosions, eh?

*Some flowers had grown on the ground behind Zeth and Sasha. They release a pollen substance. Zeth and Sasha turn around to see the pollen around them starting exploding and they are caught in it*

*Zeth and Sasha jump upwards. Herbie jumps off a tree and turns his arms into tree trunks and slams them down on Zeth and Sasha, knocking them back down to the ground*

*Herbie then lands too as Zeth and Sasha stand up. They are damaged from Herbie’s attacks, but Herbie also looks damaged*

Zeth: You are pretty tough.

Sasha: This actually is a challenge.

Herbie: And you are tough yourselves. Your attacks certainly hurt.

*All three of them start increasing their magic usage*

Zeth: Let’s begin the next round!

*Zeth starts rushing toward Herbie while Sasha stays back. Suddenly, vines with sharp thorns grow out from the ground and try to attack Zeth. However, Hellhounds appear and bite down and chew through them before they reach him*

*Herbie is surprised and Zeth lands a powerful punch on Herbie’s face which knocks him back into a tree, resulting in the tree getting knocked over*

*The tree suddenly shatters into a lot of sharp pieces and those pieces fly toward Zeth*

Zeth: (Thinking) That’s too many to hit with my Star Shards! Better go with defense!

*Zeth activates his Star Light Shield. He takes a hit from some of the pieces and they leave small cuts that could have been worse if not for the magic shield over his body*

*Herbie stands up and wipes the blood from his face. Little does he know that Sasha is there too. Herbie turns around and is immediately gut-punched which makes him feel pain and cough*

*Sasha uppercuts him and then kicks him back. She forms a Black Energy Ball that is almost twice the size of a basketball*

*Sasha releases the Black Energy Ball at Herbie. It slams into him and pushes him back before it explodes into black-colored energy. After the explosion clears, Herbie is heavily damaged and is unable to react in time as Zeth gets close (Zeth no longer has his Star Light Shield activated). Zeth punches Herbie in the chest*

*Herbie tries to react with his own punch but is kicked in the face by Sasha. After that, Herbie starts to stumble back just before Zeth kicks him to knock him on his back*

Herbie: No more. I give up.

*Zeth and Sasha stand looking victorious*

Narrator: The fight ends and Zeth and Sasha stand victorious in their challenge battle over Herbigon!
