The Martian Inquisition Arc (Part 1)

Scene 1

Narrator: It’s been 14,000 years since the end of The Final Great Chaos.

*In an overview of an arena, a huge crowd is cheering as they watch a gaming tournament. There are two teams of two with one team being Zeth and Sasha while the other team is made up of two unnamed guys. They are playing an FPS game. The four of them have headsets on. Zeth and Sasha look very focused on the game. They still basically look the same as they did during the immediate post-war time*

Narrator: Team Hellhounds.

*The two guys on the other team are also very focused*

Narrator: Team Blaze Shells.

*There is a woman commentating*

Female Announcer: We have an intense match going on in the Horn 2 Championship Game! Team Hellhounds has crushed most of the competition up to this point but they are getting a fierce challenge from Team Blaze Shells!

*As the game goes on, Zeth narrates*

Zeth: (Narrating) Yep, it really has been 14,000 years since the end of the war. Sasha and I are married and have gone through god schooling. So, you think we would be doing god-type stuff, right? Nope. Here we are, gaming. The world has been mostly at peace for the last 14,000 years so we have a lot of free time. Gaming has brought us a lot of entertainment and we even reached a pro-level at some games. Probably the best thing about it though is that these types of games help to relieve Sasha’s sadistic tendencies so she doesn’t have to take them out on real people. It’s all thanks to Commander Moss and Major Smithy for inventing the Torresdo Cinch.

*Zeth’s narration ends as the action continues. Sasha has a sniper rifle and no-scopes someone on the other team. It gives Sasha sadistic enjoyment*

*The crowd goes wild*

Female Announcer: What a no-scope!!

*Zeth then takes down the other guy with a head-shot from a burst rifle*

Female Announcer: Sasha’s no-scope gave Zeth a setup to take out the opposing sniper!! Team Hellhounds has taken a 29-24 lead!!

Scene 2

Narrator: Meanwhile in Heaven.

*Harmona is walking outside. She is then approached by a man. That man is Walton Notlaw*

Harmona: Walton Notlaw? Why are you here?

Walton: I have come with exciting news. You see, Earth now has neighbors.

Harmona: What?

Walton: Leadership on the Divine World has decided to make Mars a planet with life on it.

Harmona: Wait, really!?

Walton: Yes. Mars has been altered to be sufficient for life to prosper. And that’s not all. The Divine World has decided to take a new approach with Mars in an attempt to stop a divine conflict from starting on it like many other planets that has happened to.

Harmona: And what would that be?

Walton: We need Earth’s Heaven to send some assistance over to Mars in order to help make sure the first goddesses of Mars are able to settle in smoothly.

Harmona: How long will that take?

Walton: We need the assistance for about 10 years.

*Harmona puts her right hand up to her chin and thinks*

Harmona: I believe there are two people who have told me there has been nothing for them to do recently.

*Harmona looks at some angels that are nearby*

Harmona: Could you angels please go fetch my son and daughter-in-law?

Male Angel and Female Angel: Yes, my goddess.

Scene 3

Narrator: Back to the tournament.

*The final match of the tournament continues*

Female Announcer: We are now in the final stretch!! Team Hellhounds has a narrow 47-45 lead!! They need 3 kills to win!! Will they put away Team Blaze Shells or will they choke and let Team Blaze Shells pull out the clutch upset victory!!?

*The four players are all staring intensely at their screens. Each team gets a few more kills*

Female Announcer: This is it!! Team Hellhounds leads 49-48!!

*Zeth has forced one of the opposing players to retreat but that player is flanked and then finished off by Sasha*

Female Announcer: And there you have it!!! Zeth and Sasha of Team Hellhounds have won the championship game 50-48!!!

*The confetti starts to fall as Zeth and Sasha stand up while taking off their headphones and putting them around their necks. They hug each other to celebrate their championship. The fans in the crowd cheer loudly*

*Zeth and Sasha shake hands with the opposing players to show sportsmanship. They then look out to the crowd. In the crowd is a young woman who is looking at Zeth all lovey-dovey. Sasha notices her and gives her a death stare*

Sasha: Look at my husband that way again and I will carve out your insides and feed them to my Hellhounds.

*The young woman sinks in her chair with a scared expression from hearing Sasha’s words. The announcer comes on stage with a trophy*

Female Announcer: And now to present the trophy to our Horn 2 Tournament winners!!

*The announcer gives Zeth and Sasha the trophy. They each hold up one end of the trophy and raise it for the audience to see. The fans in the audience cheer*

Zeth: We always enjoy competing in these tournaments! We will for sure be back for the next one!

*The crowd cheers*

*Angels then come on stage. They are the angels that Harmona sent*

Male Angel: Goddess Harmona has requested that both of you come back to Heaven.

Zeth: Hm? What for?

Female Angel: It’s important. We will take you back.

Scene 4

Narrator: A little bit later in Heaven.

*Zeth and Sasha are meeting with Walton and Harmona*

Zeth: So, you want us to watch over everything on Mars until their goddesses are fully settled in?

Walton: Yes. You will be there for about 10 years.

Harmona: And at this point, 10 years should be nothing to you so this shouldn’t be a problem for you.

*Zeth and Sasha look at each other*

Sasha: I think we can do it.

Zeth: Yeah, we can handle that. Let’s do it.

Walton: That’s good to hear.

Harmona: All right you two. You better start getting ready.

*Zeth and Sasha leave to start getting ready*

***

Narrator: Later.

*Zeth and Sasha return and have their things packed through backpacks and suitcases*

Zeth: So, how will we get to Mars?

Harmona: I’ve already prepped for it. You will be taking a spaceship from Earth.

Zeth: Why?

Walton: There is no portal that exists between the two worlds.

Zeth: But it will take 6 months to get there by ship.

Harmona: And that’s only 6 months. You’re past 14,000 years old now, I would think you would never complain about that small fraction of a time anymore.

*Sasha pats Zeth on the shoulder*

Sasha: It’s fine, Zeth. At least we will be together the whole time.

Harmona: Anyway, make sure you represent Earth and our divine dimensions well, and don’t take too much time having fun. And I better not see you come back to find that I have a grandchild already.

*Zeth gives an ugh expression*

Zeth: *sighs* We won’t, Mom…

Scene 5

Narrator: Later, on Earth.

*Zeth and Sasha are putting their things in the ship. After they do that, they step out of the ship one last time to see Harmona, Zaydra (who is wearing an eye patch over the eye she lost), Zenfaro (who has a prosthetic leg for the leg he lost), Kurt, Emily (who is now an angel), Joe (who is now an angel), and Keith watch on*

Harmona: See you in a decade. I hope you both grow from this trip.

Zaydra: Good luck.

Zenfaro: I look forward to hearing about how it went.

Kurt: We will keep things going here.

Emily: Maybe you will become famous over there too.

Joe: Show anyone that’s stupid enough to take you on why it’s a bad idea.

Keith: You’re adding another chapter to your entries in the book of legends.

*Zeth and Sasha look happy as they hear their words*

Zeth: Thanks, guys. We’ll be back better than ever.

Sasha: No one will get through us.

*Zeth and Sasha walk back into the ship and the door closes immediately after. The two angel pilots of the ship are preparing for takeoff*

Harmona: This is it.

*The spaceship takes off. Harmona and the rest all start waving as the ship starts shooting up into the sky*

Scene 6

Narrator: In outer space.

*The ship is flying through space. Zeth is looking out a window and looks to be in deep thought. Flight attendants are walking in the background*

*Sasha looks at Zeth*

Sasha: What’s on your mind?

Zeth: It’s just a weird feeling. We’re going to be stepping foot on a foreign world. We won’t be known throughout the world. While we might think of them as aliens, to them, we would be the aliens.

Sasha: I know what you mean but I believe we will be able to adjust. Mars can become a home away from home for us. I just hope that the goddesses of Mars are likable people.

Zeth: I guess we will see. Maybe my mom is right though, this trip can help us grow in a way no experience on Earth would be able to.

Sasha: And that would prepare us further to become the new Light God and Dark Goddess.

*Zeth looks back at Sasha*

*Sasha smiles and then continues talking*

Sasha: Just try to keep an open mind on new experiences. Who knows, maybe you will come away from this with new long-lasting friendships.

*Zeth smiles back*

Zeth: I’m glad you are always around.

*Sasha giggles*

Sasha: Well, someone needs to keep you in check. Anyway, I think it’s time we get some sleep. We’ve got plenty of time to talk over the next 6 months.

*Zeth stands up*

Zeth: Yeah, you’re right. I’m exhausted.

Scene 7

Narrator: 6 months later.

*The ship lands on a Mars aircraft-landing zone. The sky on Mars is magenta-colored. Outside of the ship are a lot of people waiting which includes the two goddesses of Mars as well as their angels and demons.

Narrator: Light Goddess of Mars – Ralay.

*Ralay has upper back-length blond hair. The iris color of her eyes is green. She is wearing a white goddess dress*

Narrator: Dark Goddess of Mars – Liana.

*Liana has black hair that she has made go down on the left side somewhat longer than on the right. She has Dark Divine Eyes. She is wearing a red goddess dress*

*The door of the ship opens. Zeth and Sasha step out while carrying their belongings. They are both wearing matching formal blue button-up uniforms with black boots*

Male Pilot 1: We will be taking the ship to storage until we’re ready to go back in 10 years.

Zeth: Roger that.

*Zeth and Sasha now stand face-to-face with Ralay and Liana*

Ralay: You must be Zeth and Sasha. My name is Ralay, Light Goddess of Mars. It’s a pleasure to meet you.

Liana: And I am Liana, Dark Goddess of Mars. It’s also a pleasure to meet you for me too.

*Zeth and Sasha shake their hands*

*Ralay turns around to show someone standing behind her. The person looks like a young adult male who has short layered blonde hair that hangs a bit on the edges. He is wearing formal clothes that are not like uniforms. He appears to be a light divine being*

Ralay: This is my younger brother, Don.

*Zeth looks at Don and does a quick hand wave*

Zeth: Hi.

*Don is hesitant in his reply but he slowly responds*

Don: H-Hi, it’s nice to meet you.

Ralay: He’s here to help me get settled in as the Light Goddess of Mars. Though he will probably go back to the Divine World afterward which also means he can’t come back.

Sasha: He could always change his mind over the course of this.

Ralay: The Divine World is home for him so I’m not sure about that. Anyway, Liana and I are super excited to have been chosen to be the goddesses.

Liana: It’s an impressive feat considering our ages. Ralay is 17,256 years old. I’m 17,254 years old.

Ralay: And Don is 8,472 years old.

Sasha: Whoa. That is impressive. Zeth and I are 14,086 years old and it will be quite a while before we become the Light God and Dark Goddess of Earth.

Ralay: And that makes your accomplishments 14,012 years ago all the more impressive.

Zeth: You know what happened on Earth back then?

Liana: Yes, you and Sasha bringing unity between Heaven and Hell of Earth was worldwide news on the Divine World back then.

Ralay: Both of you basically became famous for a time in the Divine World. Many took inspiration from both of you.

Liana: And you both were only 74 years old. That’s crazy that you could accomplish such a difficult task at such a young age. Ralay and I feel confident that with the help of both of you, everything should go smoothly here on Mars.

Ralay: Come. Let’s enter the capital city of Mars, Marshonia.

*They turn around and start walking toward the city behind them*

*Zeth looks at Don and then walks up next to him as they continue heading toward the city*

Zeth: Hi there. You’ve been pretty quiet so far. I think it would be cool to get to know you more.

*Don looks at Zeth curiously*

Don: Why do you think that?

Zeth: Other than my brother, I don’t really know any other male light divine beings. Because of that, you really stick out. I think it would be awesome if we became friends.

Don: You really think so?

Zeth: You bet!

Don: I should mention that I’m not really a shy person, I just haven’t felt that I should have said anything.

Zeth: Sasha and I will be here for 10 years so we have plenty of time.

*Their whole group starts to enter Marshonia*

Scene 8

Narrator: Somewhere on Mars.

*People are gathering in a large room with a stage at the end. The people gathering are not human*

Narrator: Minority Race of Mars – Cloroids.

*The cloroids are meant to have a look similar to a stereotypical alien. They have dark green skin, no hair, and they don’t have noses and instead just have small ovals on their faces for nostrils. Their ears are circular. Their females do look more feminine with a thinner body build*

*The cloroids gather and look at one cloroid who is sitting on a big chair on a stage. There is a green curtain covering the whole back of the stage. The cloroid on the stage looks similar to the gathering ones but he is wearing business clothes and has a fedora on his head*

Boss Cloroid: The reason I have called this meeting is because I have disturbing news to share. Two divine beings from Earth have arrived on Mars. Why is this bad, you ask? It’s because the goddesses will suppress us.

*The cloroids talk amongst themselves for a few moments*

Boss Cloroid: It is the truth! For I have seen and I have known! We cloroids are a minority race. You want to know what happened to the minority race on Earth?

*The cloroids nervously await an answer as the boss’s face turns very serious*

Boss Cloroid: They were killed to extinction.

*Many of the gathered cloroids gasp and look completely shocked and scared*

Boss Cloroid: That’s right! The Light Goddess of Earth, Harmona, used a meteor and killed all of the Zorens! And one of the two divine beings to arrive on Mars is her son! If we leave them be, we will all be killed! I know we haven’t existed for that long but we have to take action and rise up! We have to overthrow the goddesses! I have a plan to put in motion but it will take some time. Until then, we will have to act normally around the humans and any potential divine beings.

Scene 9

Narrator: That evening.

*Zeth and Sasha are staying in a secure building and their room is like a beach hotel room that is complete with a living room with a kitchen area connected to it. There is one bedroom and a bathroom connected to the bedroom. There is a large glass window in the living room area that has a great view to look out at*

*Zeth sees Sasha sitting on a comfy chair. She is holding a cup of coffee in her hand as she looks out the large window and has a good view of the setting sun. It’s dimly lit in the room*

Zeth: I was going to talk about us going on our first patrol with Don and some angels and demons.

*He then smiles as he says his next sentence*

Zeth: It’s a good thing that they have already invented coffee on Mars.

*Sasha continues to look out the window at the great view of the city and evening sky*

Sasha: The city… The sky… It’s so beautiful that I could relax and fall asleep.

*Sasha then takes a sip of her coffee*

Sasha: The peaceful feel of it makes me think back and reflect. We have been alive for 14,086 years. Since we are divine beings, it means we have far outlived all of our mortal friends with the exception of the handful that got reincarnated as angels. There are so many people that we know that we haven’t seen in 14,000 years, such as your step-dad, Jack. He’s a family member and yet it’s been 14,000 years.

Zeth: I understand what you mean. It was definitely an adjustment seeing our friends grow old and die off while we still looked young as ever.

*Sasha continues to look out the window as she talks*

Sasha: The people of Kunasha. Nowadays, they only see you as the divine prince and not one of their own since all of the Eagle Clan members who did see you as one of their own have long since died off.

*Sasha takes another sip of her coffee*

Sasha: Even though divine beings go through Divine Restoration upon death, that still takes 100,000 years and that’s a long time… even for us… Any divine beings that lost their lives in the war still have another 86,000 years to go before they have been restored.

*Sasha takes a deep breath*

Sasha: I… I don’t know what I would do if I lost you. 100,000 years would feel like an eternity to me…

*Zeth stares at Sasha for a moment as the room is filled with silence. Sasha was looking out the window the whole time. Zeth then goes to grab his own cup of coffee and then goes to sit down on the chair next to hers and also looks out the window. They look out the window together in peaceful silence*

Scene 10

Narrator: That night.

*Zeth is patrolling Marshonia with Don and some angels. In another part of Marshonia, Sasha is patrolling with some demons. Both Zeth and Sasha are wearing their formal uniforms*

*As Zeth and Don look around on their patrol, Don starts talking*

Don: So… my sister told me what she knows about you and Sasha earlier. You initially believed you were a mortal when you were growing up?

Zeth: Yep.

Don: What was that like?

Zeth: I just did normal mortal things. Of course, there were fewer responsibilities as a mortal than I have as the prince of light. With not even a slight hint that I was actually a divine being, everything seemed normal.

Don: But you should have had divine powers to give you a hint, right?

Zeth: No, at the time, my body had been split into two separate people and, as a result, I lost my divine power. The other me was filled with darkness and was named Crimson. Eventually, Crimson and I would cross paths and have to fight to “consume” the other. In our first three fights, the loser had escaped before consumption could happen. Then in our fourth encounter, I finally won completely and consumed him. We became one person again. And as a result, my divinity returned. During the consumption process, we came to understand each other and then he returned to my body with no regrets.

Don: That’s such a weird thing to think about… Having to fight yourself. But how did you find out you were divine? And how did learning that change you?

Zeth: I learned that when I finally encountered my biological mom, the Light Goddess Harmona, at the Temple of the Light Goddess. She revealed everything. That’s also how Sasha learned she was the daughter of the Dark Goddess Dakame. As for how things changed for me, it was a strange feeling going from believing I was a mortal to suddenly, I’m actually a divine being and the prince of light at that. It’s something I would learn to get used to.

Don: That is something that should make you a great god. You have knowledge and experience on different perspectives that not many divine beings have.

Zeth: Ha, I guess we will find out eventually, won’t we?

Don: I can tell just by looking at you and listening to you. You will be great. But there is something else that I’m really curious about because you don’t see it in the Divine World. What is it like having a dark divine being as a wife?

Zeth: I can tell you that being married to Sasha is wonderful. It doesn’t matter that I’m light and she is dark, our lives together could not be happier. Love should not be separated by light and dark.

*Zeth whispers to Don*

Zeth: Also, she has a lot of great kinks.

*Don opens his eyes wide while Zeth just laughs*

Zeth: How about you? What’s your life been like up to this point?

Don: Well, I wouldn’t say my life has been as adventurous as yours. I certainly haven’t saved any worlds or unified light and dark. I grew up with my parents and my sister. Our family wasn’t anything special.

Zeth: Well, you’re here and your sister is the Light Goddess of Mars so there has to be something special.

Don: My sister is ambitious. She would always aim high and constantly hit her target. I looked up to her even if I wasn’t as ambitious as she was. When she got selected as the Light Goddess of Mars, I wanted to help her. I may not be as ambitious as she is but when I decide to do something, I intend to do it right. I will do whatever I can to make sure this goes right.

Zeth: That sounds like a good trait. Together, we will kick the asses of anyone that tries to cause trouble!

*Don smiles*

Don: You know, you really are all right. I think I could get used to you being around.

***

*Over by Sasha’s patrol, she and the demons look around. Sasha uses a communication device that’s attached to her right ear*

Sasha: There’s nothing out of the ordinary going on by us. How about you?

*Zeth uses the communication device attached to his left ear*

Zeth: Everything is all dandy by us too.

Sasha: Okay. I think we should wrap up our patrols for the night.

Zeth: Gotcha. Let’s meet up at the central point of the city and then head back.

Sasha: All right. See you there.

*Their communication ends and then Sasha talks to herself as she looks at the inner parts of the city*

Sasha: I hope things stay this peaceful.

Scene 11

Narrator: The next day.

*Zeth, Sasha, and Don meet with Ralay and Liana in Mars’s Heaven*

Ralay: We are glad to hear the patrols went well.

Liana: Nevertheless, these patrols will need to happen on a regular basis. Maybe not every day, but at least a couple of times a week.

Ralay: In addition, patrols of Heaven and Hell should happen too. Coups from within were what resulted in the overthrow of Earth’s first Dark God and Light Goddess. We need to make sure nothing like that happens here too.

Zeth and Sasha: Understood.

Liana: Anyway, with official business out of the way, I was wondering, Sasha, would you want to hang out with us today?

Ralay: Yeah, there is so much we want to talk about.

Sasha: I can do that.

*Ralay then looks at Zeth and Don*

Ralay: I’m sure you boys want to do stuff so go enjoy yourselves. I hope you don’t mind, Zeth, if we borrow your wife for the day.

*Ralay laughs*

Zeth: Sure. I won’t stop you.

Sasha: Have fun, Zeth. I will see you back at our place tonight.

*Zeth and Don look at each other*

Zeth: I guess we better find some stuff to do.

Scene 12

Narrator: A little bit later.

*Zeth and Don are walking on the sidewalks along the streets of Marshonia*

Don: So, what kind of entertainment do the mortals on Earth have?

Zeth: There are all kinds of things that mortals on Earth do for entertainment. I wouldn’t be surprised if many of them have already found their way to Mars.

Don: Like what?

Zeth: Well, let’s start with the simple stuff. How about sports?

Don: What kind of sport?

*Zeth thinks before responding*

Zeth: Let me pull one from the top of my head. I know, how about tennis? Yes, tennis!

Don: Tennis? What’s that?

Zeth: They don’t have tennis in the Divine World?

Don: If they do, I haven’t seen it.

Zeth: Hmmmm. Come on, I will show you.

Scene 13

*Zeth and Don have arrived at a junkyard. Zeth has created a makeshift tennis court using random junk that was lying around*

Zeth: It’s not the most natural of tennis courts but it will do. Tennis is played on a rectangular court with a 3.5 feet tall net in the middle.

Don: Okay, but now what?

*Zeth walks over to some metal just lying around and starts reshaping them. He has turned them into two makeshift tennis rackets. He hands one to Don*

Zeth: You play tennis using rackets. Now, all we need is a ball.

*Zeth looks around and eventually finds a ball that is about the same size as a tennis ball among the junk*

Zeth: Aha! This will do. We now have all we need to play tennis.

Don: So how do you play?

Zeth: Luckily, all you need to know how to play tennis are the basics. Each person stands on opposite sides of the court. From there, one person serves the ball. The ball has to make it over the net in the middle. From there, the ball can bounce once on your side of the court before you have to hit it back, otherwise, the other person scores. If a player hits the ball and it goes out of bounds, it’s a point for the other player. Both players keep hitting the ball back and forth until someone scores.

Don: Seems easy enough to understand.

Zeth: Scoring actually gives you 15 points but you don’t need to worry about that as you can just say whoever scores 4 times first wins the game. From there, winning a certain number of games wins you a set, and winning a certain number of sets wins you the whole match but we don’t need to worry about that stuff since we are just sticking to a basic tennis game. The server alternates between games. Here, let me start so I can show you. Let’s play!

*They get into position and then start playing. Zeth serves and the ball bounces on Don’s side of the court. Don then hits it back. Not long after, Zeth scores*

Zeth: That’s a point for me. But you look like you are getting the hang of it.

Don: Yeah, it reminds me of my signature attack, Star Bounce Ball.

Zeth: Well, let’s continue.

*They continue to play tennis and they really look like they are enjoying themselves*

*Back in Mars’s Heaven*

*Sasha, Ralay, and Liana are hanging out*

Sasha: And then we ran down the hill together. Our first date was wonderful!

Ralay: Well, Sasha, I can certainly say that Zeth has a good way with words.

*The three of them laugh*

Liana: You really did find yourself a keeper though. The two of you have set a great example.

Sasha: I truly would not trade him for anything.

Ralay: I wonder what the boys are up to right now anyway?

Liana: Hopefully, they aren’t destroying stuff for fun.

*The three of them laugh again*

*Back with Zeth and Don*

Zeth: This is intense! How about this power shot!?

*Zeth hits the ball super hard. Don gets ready to hit the ball but it hits his racket so hard that it blows a hole in it and goes back to the junk behind him where it causes an explosion. Zeth and Don look at the explosion with wide-open eyes*

Zeth: ….Oops. Guess I got so into it that I forgot to hold back my strength. I didn’t really mean to cause destruction…. I think we better call it here.

Don: Good idea. Let’s clean this up and then get going.

Scene 14

*Back with Sasha, Ralay, and Liana. They are continuing their girl talk*

Ralay: So, Sasha, you have told us about your first date, but how did you two actually fall in love?

Liana: Yes, we just have to know!

*Sasha blushes a bit but then smiles while looking down*

Sasha: It happened naturally over time.

*Sasha then finally looks directly at Ralay and Liana*

Sasha: He found me after I had been abandoned by my stepparents. I was alone but he had brought me light. I joined him on his adventure. At the time, neither of us knew or, in my case remembered, our origins. We didn’t know who we truly were. When we finally met the Light Goddess Harmona, his mother, that’s when we learned the truth. We were in the same boat and I think that allowed us to grow even closer together.

Ralay: So you two began to find comfort in each other as you journeyed into a life where you were divine beings and not mortals?

Sasha: Yes, I think you could say that.

Liana: That makes me wish I was there to see it as it progressed. You two would look so adorable.

Sasha: It really started to accelerate for me when we were dealing with the corruption effects of “Mortalment”.

Ralay: What’s Mortalment?

Sasha: It was a substance developed by mortals that divine beings are weak to and can cause corruption. When I saw Zeth unconscious after becoming too corrupted, that’s when I realized how painful losing him would be. I needed him to be in my life. I wanted to be with him always. I confessed to him and then I kissed him before falling unconscious to the corruption myself.

*Ralay and Liana are tearing up and trying to not outright cry*

Sasha: I had awoken 30 years later but Zeth had not awoken yet because his corruption was worse than mine. I told Harmona to send him my way when he does get up.

Ralay: *Sniff* How long did you wait for him?

Sasha: It was 12 years… I waited for him for 12 years on Earth. That may not seem like a lot of time now but back then when I was less than 100 years old, that was a lot of time.

*Ralay and Liana are now constantly having to wipe away their tears*

Ralay: *Multiple sniffs* I’m sorry, Sasha!

Liana: *Multiple sniffs* And all that time, he wasn’t even yet aware of your confession! When did he finally learn of it?

Sasha: It was during our invasion of the Vampire Kingdom. We found ourselves in a tough spot and weren’t sure if we were going to make it so we both got our confessions out. I was so happy to learn he truly felt the same way. We got out of the situation alive and our relationship has continued to grow ever since.

Liana: *Sniff* That’s so beautiful!

Ralay: *Sniff* So now we need to know one important thing. How many kids do you plan to have?

*Sasha blushes before answering the question*

Sasha: We plan to wait until we become the Light God and Dark Goddess to have kids but we’re definitely going to have more than the usual one that divine beings typically have. We haven’t determined an exact amount yet.

*Ralay and Liana smile*

Ralay: Well, be sure to introduce us to them once you do.

Scene 15

*Zeth and Don are walking on the sidewalks of Marshonia*

Zeth: So, how about this one? Bowling. That’s another fun activity.

Don: I know what bowling is.

Zeth: Wait, you do!?

Don: Yeah. They have it in the Divine World. That’s actually where it was invented but not as a sport. It was originally a type of punishment. Those being punished would be lined up as pins. Then the punisher would use a magic-powered ball and roll it down an alley and it was up to the punisher’s skill to decide just how bad the punishment was. Even if someone being punished was not hit, the fear of being hit as the ball rolls down the alley would cause enough mental trauma to reform them.

Zeth: Oof. That sounds painful.

Don: Well, from there, it was adapted to be entertainment and has made its way to mortal worlds.

Zeth: Hmmm. Have you heard about video games?

Don: I’ve heard of them but I have no experience.

Zeth: They are really fun. Come back with me to my place and I will show you.

Don: All right. I’m interested.

Scene 16

*Zeth has taken Don to his and Sasha’s hotel-like room. Zeth pulls out his Tarresdo Cinch and hooks it up to the TV. He then boots up Horn 2*

Zeth: This game is called Horn 2. It’s what Sasha and I are really into right now. It’s a first-person shooter.

Don: So we use guns?

Zeth: Yep.

*Zeth goes to the multiplayer*

Zeth: This is a mode where we play against each other. The main mode is called Hunter where you play until someone reaches a certain number of kills. In this case, it’s 25. The map we will be playing on is Highship. Let’s get started!

*They start the game but before anything, Zeth points at Don’s controller and tells him which buttons do what. They then get to playing. Don looks like he is really trying to get into it*

Zeth: It’s your first time so you won’t be good at this game. That’s okay. Just keep playing and eventually, you will get the hang of it.

*Soon, Zeth has a 7-0 lead and Don looks like he has intense concentration*

Zeth: There’s no need to be intense about it in a casual setting. We’re playing to relax.

*Zeth’s lead extends to 16-0*

Don: I really am not any good at this.

Zeth: Don’t worry about it. As I said, you will get the hang of it.

*They keep playing until Zeth ends up winning 25-0*

Zeth: Don’t feel bad about the score. It was your first time playing… and well, I am a professional at it.

Don: You can play professionally?

Zeth: You sure can. With Earth at peace a large majority of the time, it has given me and Sasha something to do. And you know what? Gaming is also great because it allows Sasha to satisfy her sadistic tendencies.

Don: You know… that was an enjoyable experience even if the end result wasn’t pretty. I’d love to play more sometime.

Zeth: We can start you off against AI opponents so you can improve yourself.

Don: AI?

Zeth: Uhh, it’s like things designed by the game creators to do stuff in the games, including being other players. You will see what I mean.

*Don stands up*

Don: I look forward to it. It’s getting late though so I better get back to Heaven.

Scene 17

Narrator: A few nights later.

*They are out on patrol again. Zeth is with Don and some angels. Sasha is with some demons*

Zeth: It’s another good night. Doing a patrol while it’s raining or something would be awful.

*As Zeth talks, something appears to have moved in an area to their left. It just barely catches Don’s attention. He looks to his left but doesn’t see anything*

Zeth: Is something the matter?

Don: I thought I saw something but I guess it was just my imagination.

*They keep walking. Around a corner and out of their sight, there is a 7-foot-tall bird beast monster that does not have a head and instead just ends with a hole in its neck that only darkness can be seen in the hole. The bird creates a portal and enters it. The portal then closes*

Scene 18

Narrator: The next day.

*Zeth and Don are walking through the sidewalks of Marshonia*

Zeth: So, let me ask you this, do they have bars in the Divine World?

*Don laughs*

Don: Of course, they do.

Zeth: Then how about we go to a bar here on Mars this evening?

Don: I will gladly accept your invitation.

Zeth: Great! I’m actually interested in seeing in what ways bars on Mars are different from the ones on Earth.

Scene 19

Narrator: That evening.

*Zeth and Don stand outside the entrance to a bar. There is a sign with orange neon lights on it that spell out “Rover’s Bar & Grill”*

Zeth: I think this bar looks great.

Don: I know we told the angels that we were going to a bar but they don’t know which one we are going to.

Zeth: It’s fine. Let’s go inside.

*They walk up to the entrance doors and go inside the bar*

*Inside the bar, Zeth and Don are sitting at a round table and eating food but also drinking a lot of beer*

Zeth: So you’ve climbed an entire mountain in those severe conditions?

Don: Yeah. It was brutal but making it to the top was a proud accomplishment.

*They both drink more beer*

Zeth: What did you do after reaching the top?

*Don gives a drunken proud smile*

Don: I shouted my victory and planted a flag at the top.

*Don drunkenly leans forward*

Don: And you want to know what I did next?

*Zeth then drunkenly leans forward too*

Zeth: What?

Don: I jumped off the top down to the lake below. I screamed loudly! Like a buffoon!

*They both start drunkenly laughing*

Zeth: Oh man, do I really enjoy your style! We really need to get you over to Earth at some point in the future!

*They both drink more beer from their bottles. Zeth then has a stupidly drunk smile on his face*

Zeth: I haven’t done crazy stuff like that before but I would love to try it!

*They both laugh and then drink more beer*

*Not long after, Zeth and Don have become super drunk. They are just laughing while still sitting at their table*

*Sasha and Ralay walk into the bar and see Zeth and Don. Sasha and Ralay shake their heads and then walk over to them*

Sasha: Oh boy, what are we going to do with you two?

*Zeth and Don super drunkenly look at them*

Ralay: We heard you two had gone to a bar but we had to check multiple. You could have at least said which one you were going to!

Zeth: We d-d-didn’ttttt knooooow yeeeeeeeeet.

Don: Yeaaaah.

Sasha: Both of you are extremely drunk. We need to get you out of here.

*Sasha helps Zeth stand up while Ralay helps Don stand up*

Ralay: Come on, little brother. We better get you home.

Sasha: I apologize for any trouble this causes.

Ralay: It’s all right. They overdid it on the alcohol but they look like they enjoyed themselves.

Scene 20

*Zeth leans on Sasha as she helps him walk through the sidewalks of the city. Sasha looks at her drunken husband as they walk*

Sasha: Why did you two get so drunk?

Zeth: Be-be-because outside of yoooouu and my cl-cl-closest friiiieends and familyyyy…. there has been no one I have connected with so well.

*Sasha is about to say something but Zeth continues*

Zeth: That is why we were able to talk and drink for so long…

*Sasha smiles*

Sasha: I’m so happy you made a great friend. You’ve got 10 years to hang out with him so enjoy it.

*They keep walking on the sidewalk as the view turns behind them*

Scene 21

*Back in their hotel-like room, Sasha lays Zeth on their bed so he can sleep*

Sasha: There you go. Get some sleep.

*Sasha then goes over to the closet with a view of her upper body and takes off her clothes except for her bra. She puts on purple robes. She then walks over to the window and looks out at the night’s sky*

Sasha: (Thinking) Despite coming to a foreign world, things have been great for us. We have been getting great memories here. I really enjoy what coming to Mars has done for us. These could be a great 10 years.
