Chapter 621: Stargazer

Narrator: The galactic journey now begins!

*The Stargazer ship flies through space. Crew members are in the places of the ship where they are needed and Jeff is flying it. Zeth and Sasha walk through the ship to see where things are. They see the crew members hard at work. They start at the front of the ship where they walk up to Jeff who is in the pilot’s seat*

Zeth: Jeff?

Jeff: Ah, captains. Is there anything you need?

Sasha: We just wanted to get to know our crew members more and we’re starting with you, our pilot.

Jeff: Of course! Ask me anything.

Zeth: What made you want to take on this mission?

Jeff: Well, I’ve always been interested in flying. That includes flying in space. My wife gave me her blessing to do this so there was no way I was going to turn this down. My children were sad that I’m going to be gone for a while but they were understanding.

Sasha: Where are you from?

Jeff: I’m from the country of Roson but have spent a lot of time traveling to other countries and even underworlds.

Sasha: We’d love to meet your family one day.

Zeth: Perhaps when we get back to Earth?

Jeff: Sure thing! Everything about this mission will go off without a hitch and we will be back on Earth in no time! I’ll definitely be sure to introduce you to them!

*Zeth and Sasha smile*

Zeth: We look forward to it.

Sasha: All right, we will talk to you later, Jeff.

Jeff: See ya.

*Zeth and Sasha walk away from the front of the ship and start heading toward a group of people on the computers. In this area, they walk up to Laila*

Zeth: Coordinator Laila, we would like to speak to you.

Laila: Yes, my captains?

Sasha: We’re going around getting to know the crew members. We already know you consider us your idols, but what made you want to come on this mission?

Laila: Honestly, it was the chance to get to work with you. I’m excited as a mortal from the Swamp Underworld to get to work with the gods. This was before my time but you’re also famous for taking out the spiders and centipedes from that underworld which made the underworld a much better place to live. When Commander Moss and Major Smithy were recruiting for the mission, I just had to say yes! I was so happy when my husband gave me his support for this mission! You both have my full unconditional support and I will see this mission through to the end!

Zeth: That’s great to hear.

Sasha: Do you have any kids?

Laila: Not yet. My husband and I were discussing starting a family and we decided that we would start after this mission is over.

*Laila giggles a bit*

Laila: Hopefully, this mission doesn’t last so long that we don’t get back until I can’t even have kids anymore.

*Zeth and Sasha chuckle*

Sasha: I’m sure we will be back in no time.

Zeth: That’s enough for now. We will let you get back to work.

Laila: Come back and talk anytime you want.

Narrator: Later.

*Zeth and Sasha then check out the cafeteria. The cafeteria is very large with high number of tables for people to eat at*

Zeth: It’s certainly big enough for the whole crew to eat at the same time.

Sasha: Not that we could have all essential personnel eating at the same time.

Zeth: I just hope we are stocked enough for the whole trip.

Sasha: Commander Moss assured me that it is, but we don’t know how long this trip is going to last so it’s impossible to say.

Zeth: I suppose we could also see if we could get some food from other planets to bring on board.

Sasha: That is also possible. I guess we will see.

Narrator: Soon after.

*Zeth and Sasha get a look at the lounge. The room is full of entertainment centers for people to have fun and relax*

Zeth: This looks like a great place to be when we’re not busy.

Sasha: It is. Too bad we can’t play Horn 2 online while we’re on this ship.

Zeth: Even if we could connect to people on Earth, could you imagine how bad the lag would be?

Sasha: Maybe one day, Commander Moss and Major Smithy will solve that problem.

Narrator: After that.

*Zeth and Sasha check out the conference room for discussing serious matters*

Zeth: This room is basically designed like the conference room in Heaven.

Sasha: Well, the ship was designed with Heaven in mind so that does make sense.

Narrator: And finally.

*Zeth and Sasha go to check out the quarters where their rooms are. As they enter the area, they encounter Kurt*

Kurt: What do you guys think of the ship so far?

Zeth: It’s great and Commander Moss and Major Smithy did a fantastic job on it.

Sasha: I feel the same. They made this ship ready for the adventure ahead. What do you think of it?

Kurt: I’m just amazed they got this ship ready in only ten days.

Zeth: Don’t be too amazed by it. You got a job to do on this mission. Are you ready?

Kurt: You bet!

*Zeth and Sasha smile*

Kurt: I’m off to go get some food so I’ll talk to you guys later.

Zeth: See you around.

*Zeth and Sasha then walk into their room. The room looks high class and has a king-sized bed*

Zeth: Well, they sure designed it to be the captains’ room.

*Sasha plops down on the bed*

Sasha: It’s a super comfy bed too! Come lay on the bed next to me.

*Zeth lays on the bed too*

Zeth: Wow! You’re right! It is super comfy! I could just fall asleep right now!

Sasha: It’s also night time in Earth’s Heaven so your internal clock might be a factor there.

*Zeth laughs*

Zeth: Yeah, I guess so.

*They then look at each other*

Zeth: We’re beginning an adventure through space. I can only wonder what lies in store for us on other planets.

Sasha: Well, we’re stopping by Mars first which we are already familiar with. Then, it’s off to the unknown.

*They then look out the window where the starry background of space is seen*

Zeth: A journey of unknowns… through the stars…

Narrator: Zeth and Sasha have explored their ship. Now they journey to the unknown!
