"Echoes of Love: A second chance."

[Chapter 7 Start]

"My strength left my legs. I couldn't stand anymore. My eyes closed. And I fell."

"Are you alright? Are you alright?" I heard these words faintly.

I opened my eyes. It was Chako, Ayame, and Aoi. They all were crying loudly. They were apologizing. And wanted me to forgive them. I felt a very sharp pain in my abdomen.

"Don't move yet." Said the doctor.

"Your wound's still fresh. Wait till it heals."

Aoi had grabbed my left arm and was crying while holding me dearly.

Ayame was standing in front of me while crying. She was the loudest.

Chako was standing right beside me. It was my first time seeing her cry so much.

It felt good.

I felt happy.

There was someone who would cry for me.

It was the happiest moment in my life.

I started smiling while tears dropped out of my eyes.

"Idiot. Why are you smiling?" Chako said to me while crying.

"You know how worried we were? You better get healthy quick!".

"Ha- Ha ha. I-I'll do my b-best" I said with a smile.

"You shouldn't talk much." She said worryingly.

Just like that. Time went by.

It was nighttime now.

"We'll be going home now! Take care" Chalo said as she grabbed Aoi and Ayame and went with them.

The doctor came to my room.

"Boy."

"Yes?" I said

"Don't you have any parents? I mean no guardian came for you instead of your friends. Your parents didn't call you at all. So do you have any parents?" he said

"Yes, I do. But they're not here." I said with a gloomy look.

"You should call them here. Even if they aren't here. What's more important than your child's health? Plus the police want to do an investigation. They got the info from your friends but you still gotta talk to them. And talking to them without a guardian is very hard." as he said that he left the room.

Unfortunately, It was too late. The police entered my room. 

"We know you aren't in your best health. But we need to ask some questions and you need to answer them." as the police officer said that, my phone started ringing.

"Can I answer my phone?" I asked the officer.

He agreed. I grabbed my phone to see who it was. It was Chako. As I answered the phone. I heard her crying loud. As she said:

"The thugs! The thugs took Aoi with them!"
