The past unfolds III.

"Echoes of Love: A second chance."

[Chapter 16 Start]

"I didn't know you were this miserable."

She entered the house herself. 

"Why are you in here?" I confusedly ask.

"It's my job as the class president to take care of my classmates." She said with a high spirit.

She entered the kitchen

"Waow. No one has entered this area for so long. You live alone?" She asked.

"Yeah, from yesterday."

She took some veggies out of the fridge and made me a meal

"Here, eat this. You look like you've been starving for weeks." 

She placed the food on the table

At this point, I didn't even question it anymore and started eating.

"So, you're coming to school tomorrow or aren't you?"

I didn't know what to say. So I was thinking about it.

"You can ask for a meal from me whenever you want. I don't want a classmate to be starving."

I was surprised when I heard that.

"Someone cared about me." I thought while tears rolled from my eyes.

I looked at her and yelled:

"Yes! I will come to school!" as I was crying.

We interacted more and became friends. That's why I was able to move on.

End of Flashback

"And now you're back!" I yelled to Saika.

"I'll never love you! And I hope you get back for what you deserve!"

I heard knocking on my door.

I rushed to the door as fast as I could and opened the door 

It was the police. They rushed in and arrested Saika.

They took her away with her as she yelled "She is dead! She is already dead!" at the top of her lungs.

Now I was alone in my house. I was devastated. The reality hit me.

I focused on her words and realized...

The one I was longing for so much. 

Saika was announcing that she was dead.
