[Chapter 21 Start] 

I got a call from my parents.

"Hello?" I asked on the phone.

"Iharu!" It was the voice of my father. He was angry.

"Yes?"

"I heard about your incident with the police. You got stabbed?" 

"Yes, I did get stabbed," I replied.

"Ha, I can't believe it. After telling you to improve. You get yourself in a fight and smother our name! We've had enough of you. Your mother and I have decided to disown you." He said with no change in his voice.

"When did you even consider me your son?! All my life, I did everything to satisfy you. But, In the end, I'm a disappointment?! Who do you even consider me? All you think is that I'm a robot who is given commands and I have to follow them without questioning and as efficiently as I can? WHO DO YOU EVEN TAKE ME AS?!!"

I hung up the phone.

I felt good. I emptied all the emotions I had gathered in the past to that bastard. 

Father? Is that how a father is supposed to be? If that is a father then I don't need one. I can live without one.

I was already fed up with anger from the recent happenings. He just had to barge in and f*** it more up.

A day passed.

Everything was going like every day. The student council voting was just some days away. Everyone was doing their best. 

Chako didn't participate. I wouldn't let that slide.

I went to her.

"what are you doing?" I asked Chako intimidatingly.

"What?" She replied.

"You're not like yourself. What are you doing? I didn't know you were weak like this. Weren't you someone who would never let something stop you? Then why let the past from not achieving your dreams? That's why I asked what are you doing. Go and start making preparations to become student council president!'

"Hey, Iharu," Chako replied.

"Yeah?" I confusedly asked.

"You don't know anything do you?!" She yelled to me.

I was confused.

"Why? What's stopping you?" I asked.

"I can't just stand up and decide I want to become the student council president. I need followers for that!"

"Yeah, and you can start by gaining followers! You have what it takes! You're a great leader! I'm sure everyone will follow you! So get up and get ready! Just remember me and Ayame are with you!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
