Chapter 630:

Chapter 644: Subjugation is Right! Subjugation is Wrong!

Beyond The Stars

Chapter 644: Subjugation is Right! Subjugation is Wrong!

Narrator: Continuing Kurt’s and Kasuma’s battle against Simon.

Simon’s magic is powered up. He shouts, “I will defeat you!”

Simon activates his silence ability which also makes him invisible to everyone.

Kurt thinks to himself. (“This again? I’ve already got this fully figured out.”)

Kurt closes his eyes and detects the magic covering Simon.

Kurt thinks to himself. (“Got you!”)

Simon begins flying up higher and Kurt gives chase.

Simon thinks to himself. (“He is so reliant on his magic detection that I’m sure it will throw him off if I do this.”)

Simon deactivates his magic, causing Kurt to lose track of him.

Kurt thinks to himself in shock. (“Where did he go!? How did I lose track of him!?”)

Simon flies around and attacks Kurt from his side by punching him hard in the face. Simon then pulls out a small rubber ball and quickly charges it with magic.

Kasuma looks up in fear as she shouts, “Kurt! He canceled his magic! Open your eyes!”

Kurt opens his eyes wide in shock as Simon’s magic-powered rubber ball which has increased in size hits him in the chest, causing a blast of energy that deals decent damage and knocks him fully into the wall. Simon flies toward Kurt and catches the rubber ball. He continues his series of attacks by kicking Kurt in the gut. Kurt coughs up some blood. He tries his own kick attack to knock Simon away but Simon flies back to avoid it.

Simon looks down at Kasuma and angrily states, “You are troublesome. I will take you out right now.”

Simon charges the rubber ball again and throws it down toward Kasuma. Kasuma opens her eyes wide in fear.

Kurt shouts in a panic, “Oh no!”

With a lot of speed, Kurt pushes himself off the wall and flies downward to try to stop the ball. He shouts, “Aura Whip!”

Kurt’s Aura Whip quickly extends out and whips the rubber ball away. Kasuma breathes a sigh of relief while Kurt turns his attention back to Simon.

Kurt yells, “I have had enough of this! Kasuma deserves better than this tyrannical Heaven. She would be much better off in Earth’s Heaven! Subjugation is wrong!”

Kasuma looks at Kurt with awe. She mumbles, “Kurt…”

Simon says nothing and activates his silence ability again.

Kurt grits his teeth as he thinks to himself. (“Okay! He did have a plan and now I need to adjust to it! Let’s see if I can trick him!”)

Kurt flies upward to a high-up point of the room. He thinks to himself. (“All right! Time to close my eyes but not use my magic detection!”)

Kurt closes his eyes for a couple of seconds.

Simon cancels his magic as he flies toward Kurt.

Simon smiles with confidence as he gets closer. He thinks to himself. (“I got you!”)

However, Kurt opens his eyes and sees Simon, who opens his eyes in surprise.

Kurt shouts, “Max Fame Aura Punch!!”

Kurt slams his flame aura-covered fist into Simon’s face, dealing massive damage. The hit knocks Simon against a wall and then his body starts falling downward. His body hits against the floor of a platform and then ragdolls off it until he hits another platform which he also ragdolls off of that one until he finally lands on the floor with a significant injury. He is now lying front side down on the floor.

Simon makes painful grunting noises while he slowly tries to hold out his arm which falls to the floor. He weakly grasps small pieces of rubble that have landed on the floor from the structural damage that resulted from their battle.

Simon weakly mumbles, “No… I don’t want… my dream to die…”

Kurt lands on the floor and walks up to Simon. He looks at Simon with a serious expression.

Kurt states with a serious tone, “This battle is over. Accept your defeat.”

Tears start to flow down from Simon’s eyes as he clenches his held-out hand harder. The small pieces of rubble in his hand break into smaller pieces.

Simon weakly mumbles, “Subjugation… is right… This place will be… saved.”

Kurt responds, “This is not the way. Subjugation is wrong. You can change the world and you don’t need subjugation to do that.”

Tears continue to flow down Simon’s face as he weakly states, “If Daren falls… Ivy will retaliate and cause… another war…!”

Kurt replies, “Though I seriously doubt Ivy would want to go back into war after what she has gone through, we will definitely negotiate peace between the two sides before we leave this planet. Now, say it!”

Simon weakly mumbles, “But…”

Kurt angrily shouts, “I said say it! Say that subjugation is wrong!”

Simon weakly mumbles as his eyes are red from the constant tears, “Subjugation is… righ—”

Kurt interrupts him. “I said say it, damn it!!”

Simon weakly screams, “Subjugation is ri—is wrong! Subjugation is wrong! I want it all to stop! I want everyone to be happy! Take all the horror away from this place!”

Kurt smiles and says, “That’s what I wanted to hear.”

Simon’s tears stop as he weakly mumbles, “Please, take me to Lilly… I beg of you…”

Kurt questions, “Lilly? The angel you mentioned in your story?”

Kasuma replies, “Yes, she is another high-ranking angel. Since she was responsible for most of his training, I can understand why he wants to see her.”

Kurt responds, “Okay. I will take you to see her.”

Narrator: The battle is over! Kurt has won! But why does Simon want to see Lilly?

Chapter 644 END

To be Continued in Chapter 645: Crystals and Vines

Author's Note: I really wanted to call this chapter "Subjugation is Right Wrong" but unfortunately, the strikethrough option does not work for the title part of chapter posting.
