Chapter 24:

Part 24: Princess’s Order

StarSpace: Tales Of The Time Keeper

I was curious how exactly it was going to approach this.

“Your future is grim, guardian. While your end is here, there is a friend of Styra that will help you accomplish what needs to be done. You found a little part of The Judgment Warrior’s past in which she was just a child visiting this place. It is called Pearl Planetarium. There will be no other choice but to talk to them in hopes of fulfilling the lore. They are unaware of being connected to this dimension.”

“Sounds strange. Also, what do you mean by fulfilling the lore?”

“I created it.”

The New Guardian’s lore. The story Prism denied. It was going to come to pass, wasn’t it? Even if Styra tried, she couldn’t stop this Imperceptible from doing so.

“Ah, nice guess. Unfortunately, The New Guardian is not her.”

“Wait, how? It is said that only one—“

“Can wield the power of Omnikra after having made a selfless effort that shakes the very essence of who they are? That’s obviously true. You have seen that. Everything after that is terribly interpreted. Kind of funny how that works.”

“Then who is it and why?”

The Imperceptible stared away from me into the mirror-like space. Suddenly, it used the bubbly part of itself to create a huge misty background that opened like a portal projecting this vivid image of a kingdom.

“I know you recognize this place.”

“I do. That is Madara. Princess Fidaliath is ruler of five capitals in that world. Is she—“

“No, but there is a secret here that leads beyond the gates. It will happen when Styra arrives there. That… Is where The New Guardian awakens.”

So The New Guardian is not Styra, which means whatever she does there causes it to happen.

“Is there a way for me to warn her from up here?”

“No. She cannot see you in this dimension, so it is impossible for it to happen. It will never happen. It is Fate.”

“You created the lore though!”

“I did, but not for me.”

“Then who is it?!”

“You think too rash. The New Guardian is not the real threat. That is a lie.”

A lie. This can mean only one thing. If The New Guardian was actually built on a foundation of peace and it is not Styra, who also isn’t the threat I figured her to be anyway, then…

“It is Prism, isn’t it?”

The Imperceptible created another vivid image. This time it was way different than the last one. It looked troubling.

And it wasn’t Prism.
