Chapter 26:

Part 26: Clashing Allies

StarSpace: Tales Of The Time Keeper

“So this is where you’ve been hiding. How did you end up here?”

I turned to find Sapphirion appear out of nowhere as well. What was going on? I did not witness him here before I arrived. He must’ve been affected by whatever Styra did.

“Styra has somehow transported you and I here in The Infinite Dimension. It is inescapable according to The Imperceptible who is right beside me.”

“Imperceptible? Doesn’t look that way to me.”

“Exactly.”

The Imperceptible became wary of what it was hearing. Almost as if it wasn’t pleased.

“I am The Imperceptible because I have always existed. No one was here before me.”

Sapphirion shook his head in dismay. “I honestly don’t care about you. Anyway Amethion, I hate to say this but you are in deep trouble with Prism. Our Master has heard about your disobedience. You failed to keep The Omniverse safe and gave away an Eternal Light. I looked up to you when you became Heptarion Commander. This is a dishonor to everything we fought to uphold. What got into you?”

“Listen, Prism has been lying to us this entire time. We’ve been fighting for a corrupt cause without even realizing it. The Imperceptible is the one who created The New Guardian’s lore which was meant to establish peace. As for why, it is a lot more complicated but the point is we need to let Styra work with us. Otherwise, Prism is going to end The First Omniverse ever created.”

“The First Omniverse? Have you fallen mad? I don’t know what this Imperceptible has told you but they have much to explain to our Master—“

The Imperceptible once again interrupted the conversation upon finding his claim to be untrue.

“I do not bow to self-acclaimed masters.”

Hearing this made me realize that while Prism was responsible for everything, The Imperceptible seemed to be acting just as indomitable out of its defense. As if it was hiding the full story. Supporting Prism’s side more than The First Creator. I had to know.

“I do not like them all the same. However, you seem just as controlling. Creating The New Guardian’s lore because someone told you to doesn’t make you any less accountable. As a matter of fact, are you sure that it was their decision?”

It just stood there. No reply. Okay.

“Imperceptible, why did you create the lore? Why is Styra here and what is the meaning of The First Creator dying? Most of all I want to know something else.”

Silence created a tension in this space unlike anything I had ever figured would have to happen.

“You are Prism, aren’t you?”
