Part 27: Rivalries Commence

“Just as I expected. Why would you make a false assumption that I would be that contorted lunatic?”

“Only Prism said it was capable of seeing all pasts, presents, and futures. I can’t trust someone that keeps lying to me about everything. I have noticed something though. You’ve been striking your own ego at the cost of others' lives.”

Sapphirion stepped into the argument suspecting that something didn’t sound right.

“Amethion, I would advise not pushing to fit some sort of narrative into the way you want. Prism didn’t create the lore, Omnikra, or Styra. It seems unlikely for Prism to fight against itself, especially with how things have been playing out.”

He was right, unfortunately. That wasn’t a likely circumstance at all. The only other way was… Wait. Styra and Omnikra sent us both here. Was that on accident or on purpose? Styra wouldn’t really know too much. Omnikra on the other hand…

“Imperceptible, is Omnikra The New Guardian?”

“Yes, it is.”

This was quite shocking. The blades from before were fulfilling the lore as intended. It made sense. Omnikra reuniting with Prism had merit to it. That was until Sapphirion started looking around to find a way out of The Infinite Dimension for good.

“Then I will destroy Omnikra from existence. Where may the exit be?”

“There is none. The tampering of internal forces has caused most that enter to be trapped here. Sapphirion, you will face your demise here as well.”

“I was not talking to you, Imperceptible. Amethion, we must go. This place is riddled with deception.”

My hesitation couldn’t shake the fact that it was all Fate. Everything was being preemptively decided by The Imperceptible. While Fate cannot be avoided, it can be delayed. That is the power of time at its finest.
