Battle Ready…

Me and Genny’s guards were up. We knew the door would not be open, never even close. It is always double locked, top and bottom. Genny seems to think for a moment, as she has her hand ready to draw her sword at any moment. We walk around the house carefully. “Wait...” She stops walking and throws her hand up a little, to indicate me to stop walking as well. “...where is Olivia? She is normally down here watching TV. Even if she is not, she is loud, geeking over her anime or whatever.” I think for a second. ...She was right. We quickly run up the stairs, which leads to Olivia’s room. As we go to open the door, it flies open. Debris goes everywhere, blinding me and Genny’s eyesight. We hear someone jump over us and down the stairs. As they run, we hear very muffled yelling. It sounded like Olivia. I react quickly. I grab Genny’s wrist and jump down the stairs. When we got to the front door though, it was closed. “Damn...” Genny sighs as she puts her sword back into the holster. I realized she had her outfit on already? She has a green hoodie with black sweatpants, a watch, a bracelet from us, and a belt with a sword holster on it. “...wait, how did you-” I was confused how she already had her whole outfit on already. “I work fast. C’mon Emi, let’s go!” She grabs my hand, swings the door open, and runs out with me. “WAIT, LET ME CHANGE FIRST-” Genny srealizes and quickly stops. “Crap, my bad-” She let's me go. I run back in, change into my outfit, and run back, ready. “Alright, let’s go!” I say. And so, we were off to save Olivia.
