Chapter 6:

Besties

The Daily Life Of A High School Girl

"Tanaka-san!," Aika Wakamoto said, one day after class.

I turned to look at her.

"Yes?," I asked.

"No, it's nothing," she quickly said, smiling.

"Do you have a problem? You can talk to me," I said.

"No. I'm good," she said.

That was weird.

"Tanaka, can you please talk to me after school?," Aika Wakamoto said to me, some days later.

"So, what did you wanted to say?,' I asked her, after school.

"It's nothing special," she said, reluctantly.

"Really?," I asked, raising my eyebrows.

"Actually, could you please just stay away from Sakura? That is what I wanted to say," she finally said.

"Oh yeah, totally," I said.

Then she left.

I had forgotten Katayama-san and Wakamoto-san were best friends.
