Idea and Promise

“You are YUKA right? Can I have your autograph? I am your fan!”

“Alright!”

“Thank you! After this, I can boast to my friends! And I want to say your song is best for me!”

“Thank you for listening my song!”

I feel so happy to be recognize by other people. Its bit different than when I was in Sweet Smile before. I am grateful that other people listen to my music. These days, I’m quite busy. There are so many event organizers trying to invite me to perform at their event. Now, it’s a few day left before Christmas. I have collect enough money to buy my mom a present. There also present for my dad but I hope he don’t change his address so that I can send it.

“Yuka, are you free on 24th December?”

“Yes, Yui. Right, that day is…”

“Yeah. Do you want to go there with me?”

“Okay.”

I don’t want to remember that moment. If only we can turn back time… This happens almost two months ago.

“Yui! Please can you open the door? I have something to talk about!”

After Ai and Kai’s date last night, suddenly this thought crossed my mind. How about I hold the concert where Sweet Smile members performing together? I think it will be so fun! By doing that also, we can recreate our memory again when we still perform in the group.

After knocking on Yui’s house door several times, there still no response. I guess she still angry with me. Maybe I should go to Haruna’s café. When I arrive at the café, I see that Haruna is busy with taking order from customers. I wave at Haruna but she ignoring me. But, I can see her dad whispering something to Haruna.

“Yuka, come with me”, Haruna said after coming to me.

“Okay!”

I don’t know what her father told her but nice assist, Haruna’s dad! Haruna bring me to table outside café. I think she want to avoid unnecessary attention inside the café, and that’s why she ask to sit with her outside or I can said behind the café. There is no people but the view is beautiful from here.

“So, tell me what you want this time?”

After that, I telling her my plan that I thought last night.

“I don’t want to involve myself in your stupid plan! Enough with nonsense idea by Ana before, now you ask me to perform with all of you again? Can you become more rational?”

“Sorry for being nonsense.”

“Ana?!”

I’m surprise to see Ana here again.

“Why are you coming here Ana? Don’t you busy with your radio work these?

“Don’t you think you are bit cold to someone who is older than you, Haruna? Only the coffee your father makes is best for me! “

“Okay. Now garb your coffee and go away from here.”

“Come on! Yuka, I support your idea! That will be fun for us!”

“Right, Ana?”

“So, both of you can sing there by yourself. I don’t want sing on the stage again.”

“What do you mean both of us? Yui will surely join us!” Ana said confidently.

“Are you forgetting about her condition right now? Do you want she dances with you?”

“I mean, we don’t need to dance to all our songs. We can just stand there while singing,” I try to clarify my plan.

“Whatever. Anyway, good luck.”

“As always, you are running away again this time.”

I think recognize this voice. Why she is here?

“Yui, you here too? Why is everyone always coming her? Can I have my own peaceful life?”

“I’m in for Yuka’s idea. Haruna, you need to join us. Don’t you want to sing again?”

“Are you kidding? Why do I need to listen especially from you? Do you know your own condition right now?”

“I know. But I don’t want to give up my dream. I want to become someone who can create my own life like my sister.”

“Do you think you are shonen main character? Someone who can future by follow their own dream. Its almost fairy tale for me.”

“Why are you being so negative, Haruna? You are cheerful person before?” said Ana.

“I just have enough with all of this. I think I need a bit of rest right now. So, everyone please go away,” Haruna said while shooing at us.

“I almost forgot that I need to see my friend right now! Goodbye everyone! Yuka, you can contact me if your plan is confirm!”

“Okay!”

As usual, she is always busy with her work these days. I guess she have her own talents.

“Yuka?”

“What is it, Yui?”

I almost forgot that both us had a bit of a quarrel yesterday. Now I realize it, I feel awkward looking at her.

“I want to apologize for my action yesterday. I know what I said to you is irrational, but I hope you can forgive me.”

“It’s okay, Yui! I’m sorry for not understanding you enough.”

“Nice to see that you are on good terms. Okay, now go. I want to sit here alone.”

“What are you talking Haruna? Don’t you-“

“Enough with that! I want to rest here!”

“I want to sit here too!” said Yui excitedly.

“Me too!” I also want to stay here.

“Do whatever you want.”

“Hey, Haruna.”

“What, Yui?”

“Why you break that promise?”

That promise? What is Yui talking about?

“Can we forget about it? I don’t think I can fulfil that promise right now,” said Haruna.

“I was wrong after all. I thought maybe you will always understand me.”

“Yes. You got the wrong person. At the first place, you should not believe me what I said to you before.”

Yui became speechless after what Haruna said. I’m still don’t know what is happen between them, but I guess they are closer to each other than I thought.

“If you still thinking about that, don’t you think Yuka’s plan is ideal for us?”

“Why are you still enforcing that idea to me?”

“Because that what you want!”

Yui’s voice suddenly became much louder.

“You want to do that with me right? Don’t you think that is a good idea? Why are you always running away?”

“Can you stop it, Yui?! I said enough is enough!”

“No, Haruna! I will force you to join me doing that!”

Suddenly, Haruna start coughing several times while covering her mouths with her hand. Then, I see something…

“Haruna, why is there blood on your hand?”
