Takahashi Haruna become an idol

“Haruna?”

“What is it Raina-neechan?”

“What do you want to do after graduate from high school?”

“I will become an idol! That is my dream since I was small after all!”

“Right, you always said that you want to become an idol before. Just remember that I will always become your fan, Haruna!”

Right, that was my last conversation with Raina-neechan before she left us. She has been diagnosed with lung cancer at an advanced stage and has only several months to live. After school, I will always visit her at hospital. I always talk with her about MiMi, a popular idol that I aspire to be. I don’t know the person like her would exist in this world. That’s why I want to become like her also. Raina-neechan, look so happy even though she was sick. But not every time we can always be happy. After my high school graduation ceremony was over, I went to hospital quickly so that I could see Raina-neechan and to tell her about my plan after this which is auditioned to become an idol. If only, I can come to hospital faster, I can talk with Raina-neechan like usual. Time doesn’t wait for us. Raina-neechan’s heart was not beating anymore. The day before, she looked so excited talking with me but today she is gone. Dad is trying to calm my mom who just came from her business travel. My mom still can’t believe all of this. If only all of this were a dream. During her funeral, I can’t remember how much I cried. I want the days when I talk with Raina-neechan to come back. Suddenly, I last conversation with Raina-neechan is playing my head.

I will become an idol! I will achieve it for me and Raina-neechan! After I discussed my resolution with mom and dad about my resolution, at first, they were still reluctant to allow me to enter the entertainment industry but after I tried persuading them many times, they finally gave me green light.

I can say that every week, I will go to different auditions at many companies. Fortunately, I had save more money for travelling expenses especially from Tokyo to an audition that was held at Hokkaido. What can I say, although I have went to many auditions, I still not qualified enough. Even after I train so much in dancing and singing, it still not enough to make me shine enough to pass the audition.

“You don’t have anything that I want.”

“Sorry, but your dance is not good enough.”

“Your face are quite normal, your voice too and your dance.”

“You don’t have talent to become an idol.”

I can heard this kind of remark at every audition place I went. Is that true? So, what should I do right now? Should I stop or continue training? I don’t even know what the true answer for all of this is. Raina-neechan, if this happens to you, what you will do? I am lost right now.

“Hey! Do you interested in becoming our idol?”

“Are you talking with me?”

“Yes! You! So, do you want to become our idol?”

“Why? Are you mocking about my normal self?”

“If that’s true, what is your company’s name? I need to learn first about your company,” I am trying to become more cautious about him and his offer.

It has been two months since I had been scout. Every day is almost like a dream for me. There are training sessions in dancing and singing that have been provided for me. The treatment here is perfect for me. Really, where did this company get founded? I decided to think too much about that. One day, a new trainee came to the dancing training room.

“She is Satou Yui. A younger sister of late MiMi. I hope both you can get along with each other!”

“Okay, Maki-san!”

After Maki-san left the room, I decided to approach her.

“Who cares! This is the training room, and we should use it for training not for talking! And you are being so noisy! Can you get out from here?”

Why do I feel like I am lose right now? I am senpai here and why is she acting like she is boss here? I will not let her do anything she wants.

“Why are you switching off the light? Turn on back! I want to train right now!”

“No way idiot! This is your punishment for ignoring me earlier. I hope you will learn this time.”

Suddenly, I felt something pushing me from the front that made me fall to the floor.

“What are you doing? Let me off!”

“This is what you get after annoying me since earlier, Takahashi-san! Now, turn on back the light!”

“How can I turn on the light when you are holding me like this? Wait, are you afraid?”

“W-what a-are you talking about?! J-just turn on back the light, please?”

“Okay but can you give me space so that I can stand up?”

Luckily, the switch is near me. After I turn on the light, I can see her face is so red.
