Chapter 1:

Entering The Mirror Is Faster And Quicker!

Alice In TēmaLand!

I opened my eyes and saw I was surrounded by darkness. That's when I realized I was falling! Oh how I wanted to scream, but what would be the point? No one would hear anyway. It seems I was all alone here. Just when I was about to start worrying, I hit the ground. I opened my eyes as I realized I had them shut. There was grass growing all around and off to the distance seemed to be a forest.

I stood and realized that I was on a low grassy hill. I made my way down and looked around some more, trying to find a clue of where to go. I had no luck. The whole place seemed to be desterted so I went with the next best thing. I started walking into the direction of the forest. My mother had told me when I was younger that if I ever got lost then to always head west. And that is what I did.

Even though I didn't feel comfortable in this forest I couldn't turn back now. The sun was bright so I was still able to know where I was going. Suddenly I heard a rustle coming from up in one of the trees. As soon as I looked up to try and get a glance of what it was, the thing fell out of the tree. No not thing...a person!

It was a young boy who looked about fifteen with short brown hair and cat ears. Although the sight of his ears did make me question a few things, I still took this moment speak with him. "Hello. May I ask you which way I am headed?" I said as kindly as possible. The boy got up and patted off his clothes with his hands. "Sure, but only if you can solve my riddle." The boy said in a playful voice.

I just stared at him like he was an idiot, which he probably was. "What does a riddle have to do with the direction I'm walking in!?" I almost shouted at him with rage. The boy only burst into laughter. "Sorry but I never help anyone unless they can solve my riddles, it's just something I do." He said. I could feel my anger boiling. "Ridiculous!" I shouted. I then turned and continued walking. That's when I noticed the boy was following me.

"I wouln't go that way if I were you." The boy simply said. "It shouldn't matter where I go, it's not like you'll tell me why I can't go this way anway." I replied. "Hmm suit your self." The boy said before diassapearing in mid air. I stopped walking as soon as I saw that, frozen in my tracks. "Where did you go!?" I asked almost in a whisper. "Right here!" The boy shouted just before appearing in front of me. I screamed. "Are you a ghost!?" I asked terrified.

"Don't be silly! Ghost aren't real! I'm the Chesire cat, and you're Alice, correct?" He asked while smiling widly. "How do you know my name?" I said quietly. "Of course I know your name! Your being looked for all over." I stared at him in shock. "For what?" He began to float in the air. "Some squirrel reported you for trying to hurt him, so now the queen wants to catch you." I had lost all of my words. I didn't know what to say to this.

"But I never hurt a squirrel! Hes the one who stole my ribbon!" I shouted. "Shhh. If you don't want to get caught, I would advise you not to shout." He said before dissapearing again. I looked around for him, but I could no longer feel his presence so I assumed he had left. How annoying.
