Chapter 665: Project Sputnik and Ronzic’s Scarring

Narrator: The Stargazer is captured and the crew’s fate is unknown!

Sasha looks at Laura. “What is Project Sputnik?”

Laura continues her confident smile as she looks up at the ship. “It’s our plan to escape this planet. Resources on this planet are just far too scarce to continue living here. We want to leave and find a new planet. We had a prototype ship built but some of our slaves escaped and successfully launched the ship into the sky. We blasted them before it got too far. We may have killed the slaves but we lost significant progress on the project. The slaves we still have will continue to dig for materials to help us and when the project is finally done, we will leave the slaves behind. They can find their own way to live in this barren planet. The light scum deserve nothing but the worst.”

Sasha thinks to herself. (“That wrecked ship with all of the dead light divine beings and angels must have been the prototype and slaves she mentioned.”)

Laura continues speaking. “When we arrive on a new planet, we will rid that world of their light trash so that all of us dark divine beings can live happily amongst ourselves.”

Sasha thinks to herself again. (“I’m not going to let that happen. I only wish that I could kill you right here but I need more information and to find out what happened to my friends and crew.”)

Laura’s confident smile ends and she looks at Sasha. “You know, the three of us have come a long way since our beginning when we were kids.”

Sasha replies, “I want to hear it. What was your childhood like?”

Laura begins explaining the story of their childhoods. “Ronzic, or just Ron as we usually call him, was basically a brother for Biff and me. We weren’t related or anything but the three of us were close. Biff and I no longer had parents so Ron’s older sister, Beth, took us in. Since we were children, the three of us heavily relied on Beth…

Narrator: Many years ago on Planet Pylon.

Inside a run-down building, Ronzic, Biff, and Laura are gathered at a table as young kids.

Narrator: Ronzic, Biff, and Laura – All Age 10.

An adult woman is carrying a large plate of food to the table. The woman has upper back-length black hair that is curled at the bottom. She has Dark Divine Eyes.

Narrator: Ronzic’s older sister – Beth.

Beth smiles as she places the large plate on the table. “Eat up, you three. You are going to need to eat well so that you can grow up big and strong.”

The plate consists of mostly vegetables and some fruits. There is a handful of pieces of meat.

The three kids smile with their mouths wide open.

Ronzic uses a fork to pick a few pieces of vegetables. “Thanks, big sis!”

Biff uses his fork to take a piece of meat. “This protein will definitely help me grow stronger!”

Laura uses her fork to take a few pieces of fruit. “I love me some fruits!”

Beth smiles as she watches the three kids eat the food.

Ronzic stops eating for a moment to look at Beth. “Don’t you want some too, big sis?”

Beth chuckles as she answers. “It’s okay. I have my own plate in the fridge. I will eat later. I just want to make sure you three get your fair share. Just focus on eating.”

Soon, the kids all finish eating. The three of them all happily smile.

Laura looks at Beth. “Thanks for the food, big sis Beth!”

Biff also gives his thanks. “Yeah, now I feel like I’m going to fall asleep. That was great!”

Ronzic stretches and yawns. “Yes, I am quite tired.”

Beth takes the empty plate and starts walking to the sink. “Go get some rest, you three. Sleep is also needed to grow big and strong.”

The three kids start walking out of the room and all three say something in order from Biff to Laura to Ronzic. “Goodnight!” “I’m going to be out cold in just seconds after I lay down.” “See you in the morning, big sis.”

After they all leave the room, Beth’s stomach growls. She walks over to the fridge and opens it. There is a small plate of food in it but it’s just a few pieces of fruit and vegetables. It’s not even close enough to be considered a full meal. She takes the plate out as her stomach growls again. She thinks to herself. (“Just as long as those three make it, I don’t care what happens to me…”)

Narrator: The next day.

Beth is cleaning some dishes in the sink. She hears an explosion outside and sees some light divine beings and dark divine beings fighting each other. She talks aloud to herself. “Can’t they stop this fighting? Resources are scarce enough. We need to work together to make this planet a better place for everyone to live.”

The three kids come into the kitchen while rubbing their eyes as they just woke up from their sleep. Ronzic begins speaking. “Big sis, what was that loud noise?”

Beth turns around and looks at the kids with worry. She thinks to herself. (“I need to protect these kids! I must stop that battle outside!”)

Beth begins speaking aloud. “Ronzic, Biff, Laura. No matter what, stay in this house and hide! I’m going to put a stop to that fighting that is going on outside!”

The three kids appear concerned. As Beth starts running out the door, Ronzic shouts, “Wait! Big sis!”

Beth grits her teeth in anger as she runs outside. She thinks to herself. (“I won’t let any harm come to those kids!”)

Beth runs straight into the battle area with little regard for any stray magic attacks that may hit her. She shouts at the top of her lungs. “STOOOOOOOOP!!!!! STOP THIS BATTLE ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!! STOP FIGHTING AND WORK TOGETHER TO SAVE THIS PLANET!!!!!”

Both the light divine beings and dark divine beings stop fighting for a moment to look at Beth. However, a light divine being then begins shouting. “Don’t stop fighting! This is an area controlled by dark divine beings! She is just trying to trick us!”

Beth pleads. “It’s not a trick! Please! You must all sto—!”

Beth is interrupted as a light divine being stabs her through her chest from behind with a magic-powered sword. She coughs up blood and is in painful agony but she continues to plead. “There are… children here…!! For their sakes… please… stop…!”

The light divine being pulls out his sword, leaving Beth to collapse to the ground.

The three kids were watching from their home’s entrance. Ronzic’s eyes and mouth are both wide open in extreme horror and trauma. He screams, “BIG SIS!!!!!!”

Narrator: Later that day.

The three kids are all gathered at the table. Ronzic still has a traumatized look on his face. He mutters some words. “Big sis… I hate light divine beings…”

Biff and Laura look at Ronzic and then at each other.

The backstory of their childhood ends and Laura finishes it up with one more sentence. “From that day, Ron changed. It set us on this path. We were never going to forgive the light divine beings for Beth’s death.”

Narrator: The tragic story behind Ronzic’s, Biff’s, and Laura’s hate for light divine beings has been revealed!
