Chapter 666: The Fate of the Stargazer’s Crew

Narrator: Still in the massive open room with the Stargazer docked, Laura has just finished telling Sasha about her childhood with Ronzic and Biff.

Ronzic walks through a wall to enter the room. “Ah, Miss Sasha, I hope you are enjoying yourself being around your own kind. You won’t have to endure being around the light trash any longer.”

Sasha thinks to herself in disgust. (“I wish I had a longer break from seeing this guy. Childhood trauma or not, I hate him.”)

Ronzic continues speaking. “It’s only a matter of time until the spell on you is broken and then that piece of trash, whatever his name was, will no longer be in your mind.”

Laura looks at Ronzic. “Have our new slaves been put to work yet?”

Ronzic smirks and nods. “Yes. All of the angels have started heading out to work the fields while we have held the mortals captive. It’s been such a long time since I have seen mortals that I’m not used to it.”

Sasha thinks to herself in horror. (“That’s terrible!! Ronzic will pay massively for this! It’s unfortunate that I will have to wait for now and keep up the act.”)

Ronzic continues speaking. “Laura, could you take Sasha to the cafeteria so she can eat? She must be very hungry after all of the abuse she must have taken from the light trash.”

Laura replies, “Gladly.”

Laura then looks at Sasha. “Please follow me.”

Sasha nods and then starts following Laura out of the room.

Ronzic thinks to himself. (“Perhaps I should go see the light trash again.”)

Ronzic walks through a wall to leave the room.

Narrator: Soon after in the prison cell where Zeth is detained.

Ronzic enters the prison room through a wall and then walks through the jail cell bars to confront Zeth. Ronzic begins punching Zeth repeatedly in the face. After he stops punching, he begins speaking. “Hello, light trash. It’s been too long since I’ve come here to punch you.”

Zeth smirks mockingly at Ronzic. “It’s been less than a day since then. You must be one bored and sad person to punch me for your entertainment.”

Ronzic grits his teeth while a forehead vein bulges a bit.

Zeth continues smirking. “Looks like I struck a nerve.”

Ronzic charges up magic in his right fist and punches Zeth in the face with a lot of power. Zeth is left with blood flowing out of his nose and a bruise on his cheek.

Ronzic angrily berates Zeth. “You insolent swine!! Trash like you can’t make those comments!!”

Ronzic calms down a bit before continuing to speak. “I wonder… did you come from that ship?”

Zeth raises an eyebrow wondering where Ronzic is going with this.

Ronzic continues. “I captured all of the people on that ship and freed its prisoners.”

Zeth opens his eyes wide and mumbles a word with worry. “No…”

Now, Ronzic is the one smirking. “Ah, so the light trash on that ship were indeed your friends. Let me show you how they are doing right now.”

Ronzic pulls out a remote and turns on a monitor hanging from a wall. The footage shows Kurt, Emily, Joe, Pearl, and Kasuma all chained together and walking out to a field where all of the slaves are working.

Zeth’s mouth now opens wide in addition to his eyes. “No way… How did they get captured?”

Ronzic smirks even more. “We’re going to work them to the bone. It will get to a point where death would be mercy.”

Zeth has an immediate flashback to his days when he was Hawk Clan prisoner, working and digging. He’s reminded of when his old friend, Paul, collapsed during the slave work.

Zeth’s expression turns from shock to anger as he grits his teeth. “You better free them!! They haven’t done anything to you!!”

Ronzic punches Zeth in the face again. “Quiet, you insolent swine! Just know that if you don’t break your spell on the beauty known as Sasha by the time Project Sputnik is completed, I will not only kill you but I will also kill your friends and I will make you watch every second of it.”

Ronzic turns around and walks through the cell bars as he laughs sinisterly. He then walks through a wall to leave the prison room entirely.

Zeth continues to grit his teeth and begins thinking to himself. (“I’m not worried about myself but I am absolutely worried about my friends! Sasha, I don’t think you will have as much time to investigate this place as you thought! Does she even know our friends have been captured? And there was another mention of Project Sputnik. I hope Sasha has found out something about it.”)

Narrator: Meanwhile, in the facility’s cafeteria.

A door to the cafeteria opens and Lavana walks in, followed by Sasha.

The cafeteria looks to be of higher quality than most of the areas of the facility that Sasha has seen so far. It has a nice finished wood floor. The lighting is somewhat dim and the tables have lit candles on them. At the back of the room on the wall is a giant painting of Ronzic.

Sasha looks at Laura. “Quite the extravagant cafeteria you got here with that giant painting of Ronzic.”

Laura replies, “It’s so that everyone knows that the reason they can eat is because Ron took down all of the light divine beings. Without him, we’d all be struggling just to not starve.” She then points at a table with food on it. “Please, help yourself, Miss Sasha.”

Sasha nods. “Thank you.”

Laura turns around and starts walking out of the room. “I shall be going now.”

When the door closes, Sasha begins looking around. She thinks to herself. (“Is there anything I can find out in here?”) She begins looking around and soon spots Lavana, Herbie, and Dusk sitting at a table. She thinks to herself. (“Those three are here? I suppose that makes sense since they are demons.”) She pulls out a small piece of paper and a pen and begins writing something on it. She then drops the paper and it falls on the floor where a Hell Rat picks it up. She begins to approach the three demons. She speaks aloud. “I see you three are enjoying yourselves.”

Lavana, Herbie, and Dusk are all alerted to Sasha’s presence.

Herbie shouts excitedly, “Princess Sasha, you’re here!”

Lavana chuckles. “Since we are demons, they ‘freed’ us.”

Sasha starts tapping her right foot for a couple of seconds and then points down at the floor where the Hell Rat is. The three demons look at the Hell Rat as it scurries toward them.

Dusk bends down and picks up the note before fully standing back up. “What’s this?”

Lavana and Herbie lean toward Dusk so they can all read the note. The note says “I’ve been doing some investigating here. Tell me the story of how everyone got captured but make sure not to say anything anti-Ronzic so we don’t look suspicious.”

Lavana grabs the note and burns it to ashes by emitting a little bit of lava within her clenched hand. She then nods.

Sasha speaks. “Tell me what happened.”

Narrator: Sasha has met up with Lavana, Herbie, and Dusk in the facility’s cafeteria. How all of the other heroes were captured is about to be unveiled!
