I couldn't help but smile at its antics, and asked aloud, "Do you want me to play with you?" To my surprise, the kitten stopped nibbling and looked at me with intense purple eyes. They were a striking shade of deep purple, unlike any normal cat she had seen before. 

My eyes widened in surprise as I spoke, "Your eyes... they're purple?"

The adorable kitten snuggled into my arms, its head rubbing lovingly against my cheek. Its fur felt incredibly soft and well-cared-for, almost like expensive silk. 

Suddenly, the kitten bit my neck. Startled, I instinctively threw the creature off, However, the kitten landed gracefully on its feet, transforming seamlessly into a human being before my very eyes.

"A...? A kitten turned into a human?"

The man, his blonde hair perfectly styled and his purple eyes piercing, slightly tilted his head as he spoke. His regal presence was undeniable.

"I heard that the Duchess of the Lagrene household," he said, his voice smooth and deliberate, “was very mean."
