Chapter 10:
A villainess grievous wish
Luca wasn't as annoying as I had initially thought. He had smoothly vouched for me as a friend, allowing me to pass off as "Luke" effortlessly
. As I continued on my way, I heard Luca call out to me, asking where I was heading. I turned to face him, seeing him holding his sketch pad in one hand and stowing his pen in his pocket.
I realized that revealing my true intentions to Luca wasn't an option, so I came up with a story. "Luca," I said, meeting his gaze. "Let's have some fun together."
We then entered a beerhouse, and I declared, "Yeah, that's the spirit! Drink all you want, I'll make sure you don't overdo it." Luca chimed in, his
"You're really strong, aren't you?"
"Oh yeah, taking care of delinquents is practically my job, and I handle about a hundred cases in a day." I boasted as Glancing at Luca, who sat across from me diligently sketching something,
"Impressed?" I asked, feigning confidence.
What kind of opponents do you have?a girl asked
, "Oh, the delinquents I face are the stupid-looking ones who make cute girls like you cry." I chuckled and replied with a smirk
"Highschool? Wow, sounds like they must be pretty scary."
I couldn't help but answer, "Oh, I've traveled to quite a few towns. You know, towns where wonderful girls like you live."
where do you come from?''
Earth
whats that?i never been to that place before
that must be very scary
"this wine is stupid” I heard someone passing by mutter, and at the edge of my vision, I caught a glimpse of a familiar man walking towards the exit. I continued staring at him, my mind struggling to recall where and when I had seen him before. It was then that the memory surfaced from the depths of my mind –
It hit me like a flash - he was the homeless grandpa I had encountered, the last person I spoke to before ending up in this world. My curiosity spiked as I wondered how he had ended up here.
"Could he be a dimensional traveler like me? "
Without skipping a beat, I sprang from my seat and hurriedly chased after him, calling out, "Hey, gramps!" I continued pursuing until he vanished from my sight.
"Where did he go?" My vision, already hindered by the alcohol I had consumed, became even blurrier in the darkness of the night. The only source of light came from the dim moonlight, making it challenging to find my way back to the beerhouse. I couldn't recall what it was properly called here, my thoughts were foggy and disoriented due to the effects of the drink. "Shit, I lost Luca," I mumbled to myself, feeling lost and disoriented in the unfamiliar surroundings” i dont know which way to go to that beerhouse”
In the distance, I stumbled upon a group of delinquents chasing after a boy with curly grey hair.
"Isn't that the 7th prince?"One of the delinquents exclaimed. His facial expression was sinister as he smirked.
, "I told you to let me go!" The boy with grey hair desperately tried to break free from their grip, yelling
Although my vision was hazy,, I knew I had to follow the group of delinquents and find out what was happening.
I knew I had to follow them, so I stumbled forward towards the group, listening to the grey-haired boy's defiant threats.
"You don't know who you're dealing with. Don't you care about your lives?"
The man with an eyepatch, a crazed smile on his face, retorted, "Prince Randy, you're the one who made my eye this way. And guess what?" His laugh echoed menacingly. "You've gone too far."
"That's not true," the randy protested, his gaze filled with anger. "You only lost the fight to me." I attempted to move closer, but stumbled accidentally upon an empty can, causing it to clatter loudly.
"Is anyone there?" came a voice from the delinquents.
I quickly ducked behind a big tree root, taking cover as I heard the sound of blades whistling through the air, followed by the group's maniacal laughter
They tightly clutched the seventh prince, extending his arm as he desperately struggled to break free from their grip.
How could these delinquents abduct a teenager and commit such vicious acts here? And they're fully aware he's a prince, yet they feel no fear for their lives if this potential murder case reaches the palace?
"That's right, Prince Randy. I'll take your right eye as payment. That way, we'll be even."he said as he took a spoon out from his pocket
'"Are they planning to scoop out his eye with a spoon?" I whispered to myself, rubbing the back of my neck nervously. Recalling my previous failed attempt at saving someone, I grappled with my conscience.
"But I can't just let this bloody mess happen right in front before me," I thought,
"Somebody please save me!"I heard randy said tearfuly
instinctly, I quickly rushed towards them and kicked the bandit's arm, sending the spoon flying before it could reach Prince Randy's eyeball
''just in time''i said as i landes perfectly on the ground
I firmly stated, "Move out of the ways!" I took a defensive stance, ready to execute attacks.
"You okay?" I turned to assess the situation and noticed that we were completely surrounded by adult bandits. Realizing that we were outnumbered and completely surrounded by adult bandits, I knew we stood little chance against them.
This was no longer a matter of dealing with high school delinquents back in my old school. This was a much more dangerous situation.
This was a fight for life and death. If I was fortunate, I might only end up with a limb cut off by these dangerous people
"I'm sorry you had to get involved," Prince Randy whispered, his voice filled with concern. "For now, let's run!" I responded, ignoring his question about the alcohol. Prince Randy retorted, "Run what? And why do you smell like alcohol?"
"Let's just run for it," I insisted, grabbing Prince Randy's arm.
"Are you insane? He protested
Let's go!" Suddenly, someone drew a sword at me,i managed to duck in time. Unfortunately, the sword sliced through my cloak, revealing my long brown hair.
"don’t come any closer!" I exclaimed as I noticed Rigel hurriedly headed my way
I tried my best to fight, but being in Clementine's body made it a challenge. Just as I was about to kick an opponent approaching me, he quickly blocked my leg, pushing me to the ground.
"What do I do?" I whispered in panic, feeling my body paralyzed, unable to move.
"Prince Rigel!" I cried out desperately as I saw the man preparing to swing a thick wooden club at me.
I clenched my eyes shut and waited for the stick to hit me when suddenly, a sweet scent enveloped my senses, and arms enveloped me as I fell to the ground.
"Don't worry. I promise to save you." Rigel declare
I laid on the ground, watching in horror as Rigel continued to absorb the blows with all his might. Despite the pain he was enduring, he held me tightly in his embrace, protecting me with his own body.
"This can't be real!"
