Chapter 11:
A villainess grievous wish
"Randy...seems in terrible pain"I thought, watching him writhe in agony, his body a pitiable sight.
, "Stop!."Sudden hope and relief flooded me as I heard the voice command
"Brother Eugene!" Prince Randy cried out
Eugene swiftly attacked the man beating Randy, causing Randy's body to collapse against mine.
"I'm sorry," I whispered, my eyes welling with emotion as I held him on my lap.
He replied, his voice weak but determined, "You saved my life, so I'll remember that." His face still managed a smile as he tried to fight the pain and pull himself up.
He held out his hand, waiting for me to take it to help me stand. I reached out and pulled myself up, and as we stood together, I couldn't help but notice a dark silhouette behind a nearby tree. Curious, I moved closer to take a closer look. Suddenly, I heard a thud..
I swiftly turned around. To my horror, I saw Randy collapse onto the ground, his body motionless.
''randy!Luca! !i gasped in horror as I saw randy as well as luca lying in the ground as well as the rest of the bandits as a blade threw at me
"How did Luca got in here?"I thought
I was fortunate enough to evade a flying blade for the second time that day.
I need to get some help!
I tried to run away However, luck wasn't on my side for long, as a bandit swiftly snatched me, wrapping his arms around my neck.
"Spare me or I'll kill this woman!" the man cried out desperately, holding me as a hostage.
With a chilling chill running down my spine, I locked eyes with Eugene, his gaze unwavering. The soft moonlight illuminated his face, casting shadows that enhanced the striking contrast of his mismatched eyes - one a piercing blue, and the other a dark brown.
As I pleaded silently, "Please, save me," my reflection stared back at me, mirroring my despair in the depths of his gaze.
"Why would I care if you Kill her?"Eugene's bluntly replied
My eyes widened from what I heard
I saw my reflection within them, pleading silently for mercy. His eyes, normally so mesmerizing, now seemed distant and unforgiving.
"Please save me," I pleaded, my voice barely above a whisper, tears welling in my eyes
"We have no reason to interfere with someone's fate, even between their life and death. I have no obligation to save you," Eugene replied, his tone resolute.
". Fate has its own rules, and to bend them for our own sakes is an act of presumption."
Is it not our duty to protect and preserve that light rather than snuff it out with a thoughtless act of taking a life? I yelled in despair
As I pleaded for my life, memories flashed before my eyes—a sudden onslaught of emotions rushing through my mind. Images of Lori filled my thoughts as I wondered if I truly deserved to live.
Had this been how Lori felt, also pleading for someone to save her?hoping against hope that a kind soul would step forward?
"Maybe," I thought. "This is my punishment, the price I must pay for letting Lori die. Perhaps this is my karmic retribution, with someone now letting me meet my end, just as I allowed Lori's fate to be sealed."
I was overwhelmed by the weight of my guilt, accepting my fate as a way to atone for my sin
Oh, your small life is nothing in comparison to his desire to punish me,". The bandit's laughter rang in my ears as he mocked me,
My life was just a small price to pay for his goals?.....I stared at Eugene standing in front of me
I felt so small and helpless in that moment.
In a split second, I threw the second marble,
as if in slow motion, I watched as the marble flew through the air and towards Eugene. With a swift and swift motion, he sliced through the air and the marble exploded into shards,
With distractions,I made the opportunity to escape
Fear gripped my heart as I ran away, I ran as fast as I can
my mind in a haze of panic. With no idea of which direction to go, I stumbled upon an unfamiliar dark road before me. Just as I was about to turn around, I suddenly felt something cold and felt a warm liquid flowing down my neck, accompanied by the sight of a man in black, wearing a dark cloth mask and pressing a blade against my neck.
As I stare at sword that was pressed to my neck, I felt a wave of recognition. It was him - the one who had been watching me from the shadows earlier. I stared at him, my heart pounding fiercely, fear evident in my eyes.
my head is so so bad and i was so sleepy as well
In that moment, everything felt blurred, my fear overpowering my senses.
Clementine!"I heard a familiar voice , a voice that instantly grounded me.
Raphael, it's you."
As he rushed to my side, shielding me with his body, I could feel the warmth of his back against mine, a sudden sense of security washing over me. Tears streaming down .....
