Chained Regalia

Following an untimely death, a young man awakens inside an unfamiliar chamber. Standing before him is a woman with brilliant crimson hair holding an ornamental sword.

She introduces herself as Lucia of Allion, last living heir to the Allion throne. Summoned as the princess’ ‘Chain’—a servant familiar who was once a lost soul from another world—she bestows the name ‘Layn’ upon him. She quickly voices her intentions: “My homeland was decimated by the demons of this world. I seek to reclaim my kingdom. No, I will. And you will aid me.”

He meets her passionate command with… adamant refusal.

Their souls linked, Layn, fraught with insecurities from his past life, is forced to reluctantly cooperate with Lucia, a stubborn and somewhat pushy princess who refuses to replace him, even at her own expense. As they work together and grow closer, however, they learn to push past their differences and support each other, and their relationship evolves in ways neither of them anticipated.
