When I was younger, my grandfather told me stories of myth and monster. Of creatures atop the mountain that descended to the villages at nightfall, preying on the innocent.
It’s been 10 years since a Hawthorne ventured up the mountain, the last time, they didn’t return at all.
Now, it’s my turn. But what awaits me, would be the death of me.
