The End of War

10 years ago, a war broke out between the villages at the foot of the mountain and the monsters at the peak. Eventually, those soldiers won, eliminating the heartless beasts, but their loses were immeasurable.

My sister and I lost a mother and a father that day. 

It wasn’t long before tragedy found us again, as a dangerous virus swept through the area, infecting my younger sister. The cure was not easy to come by, in fact one ingredient was believed to be completely extinct. It was a wildflower native to mountains, if they weren’t extinct like we had thought, they would be atop the mountain.

So began my journey to search for her cure.
