A first-year college student named Inoue Arata is searching for "himself" after losing his human emotions and feelings but keeping his generosity.

Following that, he begins working at a café where he meets a waitress. Within a short while, they both begin to get together more frequently, go out to eat, and relax in the park. As soon as they realise that they are dealing with similar issues, they work to solve them as a team. They start to fall for each other quickly and without even realising it.
