“I almost had him!”

I heard a girl’s voice while I was in a coma. According to my nurse, I was apparently hit by a massive truck in the middle of the 4 way road. It was seemingly a fatal situation but I have no recollection of it at all.

“You are lucky!” My nurse always says to me as she checks my vitals.

“Ummm…yeah…”

I don't know what is the right word to say back every single day. Because number one, I have no memory at all, plus my body hurts. And number two, a girl appears in my dream every night. She always has her smile on looking at me as if I’m some kind of exhibition.

“You’ll be mine soon!”

The phrase ends my dream every night since I’ve been hospitalized.
A couple tiktoking sounds goes by and it’s 9am. My nurse is here again for daily check up.
