Kobe city in reality is also an actual Japanese city.Kobe city was a source of inspiration for creating Fuyuki city in Fate.
Motoko is named after Motoko,the main heroine of Ghost in the shell franchise.Her surname Hanekawa is inspired by Tsubasa Hanekawa from Monogatari series.
The way Motoko meets her apprentise is inspired by the first meeting of Shiki with Aoko in Tsukihime visual novel.
The setting of the 3rd chapter of the volume is inspired by the first movie of Kara no Kyoukai and the first episode of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.I hope you like it.
