18-year old college student, Chihara Yoru, is an ordinary guy who dreams of having an easy life. One day, this dream is granted to him. Chihara is summoned into another world as a Hero with three other Japanese students. The country they were summoned into, Medrea, is a complete Utopia for mages, where power and position is solely decided by magical ability.

The heroes are deemed the strongest mages, meaning Chihara would imminently gain such power and authority. However, the heroes learn about the closely upcoming 'Revelation', an apocalyptic event that occurs once every 100 years. Tension builds in Medrea as the Revelation comes near, and the country start to turn against Chihara for being 'cursed' with the unsightly, disgusting blood magic.
