The Omono School recounts the story of Daniel Bay, a man who lived an utterly unremarkable life. A part-time convenience-store clerk with no plans, no purpose, and no ambitions beyond making it through each day, Daniel had resigned himself to a quiet existence spent stocking shelves and counting coins under fluorescent light.
That changed the day a new coworker joined the store.
At first, he seemed ordinary, just another employee with polite smiles and soft steps. Their interactions were unassuming, the kind shared by strangers who happen to wear the same uniform. Over the course of the next week Daniel Bay’s world began to collapse culminating in him waking up in the infirmary of the Omono school. An impossible academy hidden in the Tōhoku Region of Japan. It is where students learn to negotiate with emperors and tyrants across eras, decode languages long buried by history and to survive the most horrific Disasters history could throw at them.
