For Sylvia, going to school is a fairly easy task. Just avoid the bullies, popular girls, jocks, and, of course, the teachers who are lurking around every corner, waiting to give out detention. In fact, Sylvia quite enjoys school, because she is able to fly under the radar of everyone. Until her twelfth birthday, when she finds out from her foster mother that she, in fact, never had parents, and is a supernatural creature of unimaginable destruction disguised as a schoolkid. And it only gets weirder, when her former best friend, Gracie, turns out to be a bounty hunter and is after Sylvia's skin and bones. When Sylvia has to flee the world, she ends up in the chain between all Palaces, and, horror upon horror, Gracie is there too! Will Sylvia make it out alive, let alone save the seven Palaces?
