He had irises so sharp and blue that the entire ocean itself could have been congested in them. He had a mind which was concerned with everything and anything that was supposed to bestow upon him wings of freedom.

She had eyes that held the hue of the sunlight scintillating with grace and anonymous captivity. She was as much free as snowflakes that allowed themselves to pelt down on the sturdy ground, yet she assumed her life was behind the bars of a castle far away.
