The everyday life of an average Japanese high school student ends when he is suddenly hit by a stray spell that broke the very fabric of time and space. Expecting to pass on to the afterlife like normal he gets a rude awakening when he's suddenly reincarnated as a wraith one of the weakest monsters in this new world.
In order to survive, he has to become stronger and fight his way out of the chasm he finds himself in while looking for answers as to why he was suddenly reincarnated.
