It's been five years since Lucas, a research scientist, struggles with the memories of the day his friend Mark was murdered. Troubled by the indications that the criminal was a serial killer, he has looked for clues to find the culprit unsuccessfully. When he seems to learn to live with it, his companions begin to be killed one by one. Lucas, along with his colleagues and two detectives will begin the search of the person responsible, who wears a suit, a mask, uses a briefcase and leaves his signature at the scene of the crime, 'R.E.M.'. They'll have to find him before there's a new victim.
