Living With a Demon Isn't So Bad?

Exiled from her village, a young fox spirit discovers an abandoned shrine for their patron deity and decides to elect herself as a Shrine Maiden then studying the forgotten practices and tending to the shrine in the forest.

One day, she encounters a fallen figure whom she brings inside and nurses back to health. Shortly after, she was attacked but before she was overpowered the figure eliminated the assailants and introduced himself as one of the Demonkin who like her was exiled.

Agreeing to live together, they learn their duties at the shrine.
